Hey guys so after the update to marshmallow there seems to be a problem with my lock screen timeout.when I try to unlock my phone the screen timeout in like 1 second. I have changed my lock to swipe, the only way to fix this problem is if I somehow restart my phone. it happens sometimes but it's quite annoying I have tried to wipe cache partition I also tried the factory reset but neither worked. i also changed timeout setting to 2 minutes and also checked the power saver setting and I also disabled the smart stay option but I can't seem to fix the problem.oh by the way my phone is not rooted . Any help would be greatly appreciated.

Greetings, I wonder if anyone can help me, I have a problem with the automatic rotation of the screen, just does not work, or good only works the first time when I re-established the factory settings, but after turning it off and then turning on does not work, and I will not be restoring the factory settings every time I turn it on, and even the auto-rotate in the display options is disabled (I can not even activate or deactivate) ...
It's very strange, I thought it was the tablet or the android version (2.3) but I tried different roms and all feel the same ... Why? :crying:
Also it is the same to lock the screen, pressing the power button should be blocked slightly, but not, it only works right the first time that they restore factory settings ...
PD: sorry for my English.

What is your screen time out set to? doesn't help if both aren't set to the same time
I'm having the same issue: lock screen not working/keyguard not activating. My G2 Mini is only one month old and it already did this for three times. The only solution was to make a factory reset, which is quite unpleasant. The first time it apparently did this after I had used Gravity Screen on my phone. The other two times I don't know what may have triggered the bug.
It seems that I have to do once again a factory reset. Anyone else experienced this bug? Any ideas instead flashing kdz again? I hope the most awaited Lollipop update would solve this issue for my device.
Hey so my v10 sometimes doesn't allow me to unlock my phone with my fingerprint and I have to manually enter my password. Is this a problem for anyone else or just me? I have changed the fingerprints and changed lock screen from knock code to pattern but neither helped.
Yes I get this too. I know it will force manual entry after reboot but I experience this throughout the day from time to time. Its inconsistent.
Do you use an app to put the phone to sleep? There is a known issue in Marshmallow where fingerprint unlock will not work if the phone is put to sleep via an app rather than the power button.
I do double tap the status sometimes to turn the screen off but I don't think it's that. And no I don't use an app to turn off the screen
Recently I am facing issue with my phone (Asus Zenfone 2 ZE551 ML). The screen always stays on and never go back to sleep.
Even when I lock my phone, the lock is automatically opened and the screen stays on forever. The only option to turn it off is switching the phone off. I have tried a factory reset, wipe cache partition but the problem is still on. I have debugged and the problem seems to be with the Wake locks. The error receiving in the log cat says "Power manager lock was not held when calling updatePowerStateLocked".
Any help will be useful. Thanks.
I have the al10 version non rooted with the latest non beta updates. The problem I have is that the screen does not timeout. Currently it's set to 30 second and changing it does not fix it. If I restart the device the timeout function starts working again but maybe after a day of use, the issue reoccurs.
Even if it's on the lock screen, it does not timeout. Now I could manually turn the screen off, but if I receive a message and it turns it on (lockscreen) it'll stay on which drains my battery.
I have already booted into recovery and wiped cache. Any other ideas besides having to constantly restart my phone?
