yes, it works fine. but you loose the OTA updates with the root...
Mine says : "your-system-was-damaged-wireless-update-is-disabled" when i try to update via OTA (wifi)
And with the unroot of Kingroot, it is the same !! What can I do to get the latest firmware releases ? Thx.

OTA update not working... it says "Waring your system was damaged, wireless update is disabled!"
So how to unroot > update > root again?

2 things, unroot, you can from the app (SuperSU)
and if you do not find the update and load it manually

you do not have another computer with other windows,
I have the same Windows 10 64, and flasheado, mtk
look for the network
1 downloads, 2 mobile to connect 3 install
https://androidmtk.com/download-universal-adb-driver
http://www.needrom.com/download/bluboo-picasso-twrp-3-0-2/
afetr few search found solution:
here i found USB preload drivers (almost same as ADB) and "how to" info
https://forum.hovatek.com/thread-440.html
After this guide i flashed latest FW from here http://www.needrom.com/category/bluboo/picasso/
TWRP not needed, unless you want to flash rom's from .zip in your phone directly.
But now, i dont know, if "dirty flash" possible with TWRP, because flashing with flash tools automatically wiped whole /system and /data
...sorry, off topic...
how do you enable battery percentage without third party app for picasso?
any solution on this?
thx
the Tactile stopped working ...
I'm looking but I see nothing unusual

Hi all!
Bluboo Picasso 4G. - Invalid IMEI.
I have tried to fix IMEI with SN Write Tool, also with EngineeringMode. Did not have any success. Factory support told it must be trouble with the firmware. I tried many ways to root the phone, but I am not a professional. So it just did not work for me. Any idea, how can I fix the phone? Do you know someone in Berlin who can do it for me?
Thanks.

Hello!
I was going to install a firmware for this phone (p712) with KDZ from this web.
I'm from Argentina, but I was just wondering what are the differences between the v10C and v10D.
I know the v10C comes with the knock application, but what about the v10D?
I got my phone with the v10B early this year, but I couldn't update with FOTA because it is rooted.
Thanks in advance.
I''ve updated my rooted LG OTA three times without any problem.

It tells me that the update couldn't be done because it found that it's rooted. Maybe it's my phone company that wont let me update.
I rooted it with framrooth 1.9.1.

I remember seeing a post here saying that even after unrooting, the update process noticed the rooting tracks so it didn't perform the update.
Maybe you'd better install CWM before unrooting.

George, you probably don't know this device. It doesn't have any custom ROM yet. Hence the OP's question.

I have already tried unroot and try to update, but doesn't work.
The CWM for this phone is very buggy and can cause soft brick sometimes.
There is no custom roms, only some mods or full KDZ update.
Seems that you are talking about a different phone, and new LGs can only update by FOTA (or kdz of course).

So don't update until you clean all of the root trace. For now, I think it doesn't have much different whether you update or not.
In case you are having problem with your device and want to do KDZ update with firmware stock, you can download here.
I know that your LG Optimus L7 II is newer than mine.
Just keep in touch with this site or you could search anywhere else so that you'd be able to update your device by FOTA.
GOOD LUCK.
I tried to root my 7840 with 5.1 using @social-design-concepts tethered CMW and after flashed supersu, I accidentally selected "wide cache partition" and the device freezed there for a long time. I had to hold the power button to reboot. But the device cannot root into the system, it stuck at "intel inside" logo.
I'm wondering what happened and what should I do now to unbrick my device now.
I appreciate if someone could help me with a solution.
Update (8/13):
Followed @xBIGREDDx 's link, I found the dell official developer flash files. And flashed flash_DDO_BB.xml to unbrick and format the correct partition (correct me if I said wrong). Then use @social-design-concepts 's tethered CWM to flash 5.1 update.zip file (put the zip in external SdCard) uploaded by @xBIGREDDx. And the device gets back to fully functional with fresh installed 5.1 LP
Oh...latest @social-design-concepts root method works with Android 5.1 without downgrading Bootloader?

For now, try these steps. You'll have to go back a bit in the thread there to find links to the system.img
I'm working on a better un-brick solution but for now that's the best we've got.

BIGREDD,
Thanks for your tips. I unbricked my device but it was actually much easier than I though. I flashed DDO_BB.xml, and then in tethered CWM flashed 5.1 update.zip. That turns the dead device back to functional. Of course I flashed your files to root.
My notice is 5.1 consumes much more ram than 5.0. At 5.0 after boot, I got ~1G free memory. But now I only have ~500MB. Is it normal?

hi,I'm having the same device and recently I installed gravitybox or some app of that kind and it offered an option to install xposed framework.I was skeptical if my device was compatible but did it anyway.Next it went into a bootloop at the intel logo and has been there ever since.my present condition is,I can get into fastboot menu but cannot install the xposed uninstaller.zip since the sd card is not recognised anymore.I tried to adb sideload it but only errors follow.I understand this device has a temporary recovery and right now there is no custom recovery installed I guess(?).I am new to android so kindly help me get the device to function again.thanks.

I have had my P9000 for a couple of days, very pleased with the phone. Originally had the March build and i can agree the battery drain was bad. Today I have had OTA 20160418 update and the phone now seems even better, the finger print scanner seems accurate and fast. I have not tried the camera yet but will. As for the battery it seems better but will have to monitor

in order to permanent remove the message, go to root/cust folder and delete every file and folder from there (all content)
the message will disappear and wont ever come back after a reboot that is
please note that you need root permission for this so you either get the firmware rooted and use a file manage to delete content or delete it from TWRP file manage in recovery

I'm looking for exactly the same O2D KDZ as I did the same as OP and don't want to lose my guarantee by rooting.
Besides these annoying errors, 10b seems more stable than 10d.
How to find this KDZ on LG's servers?
Thanks!
I searched the web for a long time and tried some tools to find the v10b O2D Germany kdz but unfortunatly without success
I would be very happy if somebody could help us to find the kdz! :fingers-crossed:
Good news!
I just started LG Bridge and searched for an update. Got newest v10e from O2D automatically installed, everything is fine again, no need to root, wipe whatsoever!

inbox me bro.. just now i fixed the problem
Solved the problem. Here is how I did it.
1) On a second Android phone, download the Oxygen Updater App
2) Open the app, set it to advanced settings, chose the device with the semi-bricked status, download the full zip
3) the zip file will be downloaded to sdcard's user root => transfer the zip file to your semi-bricked device
4) on your semi-bricked device, go to settings>updates, click on the top right three-point-menue and chose "local installation"
5) select the zip file and do the update
After the unpacking and verification is finished, reboot the phone and things should be back to normal.
If you want, you can now give the rooting a second try. There are a lot of tutorials, I used this one since I had the stock full rom:
Root OnePlus Nord CE 5G using Magisk [No TWRP Required]
Do you own a OnePlus Nord CE 5G android smartphone? If yes, today, we will share with you how you can Root OnePlus Nord CE 5G with the help of the Magisk
magiskapp.com
The full stock rom which is downloaded as described above needs to be extracted with the help of a script: as described here:
[LINUX][GUIDE] ROM Payload Image Dump
Now we have dumpers for Win/Mac/Linux! Great!
forum.xda-developers.com
So the steps to root the device would be
1) download the full rom as described above
2) extract the boot.img with the help of aforementioned python script
3) follow the steps as described in the tutorial linked above
I think what caused the initial issue on my side was that I simply was not on the same OS version on the device as the boot.img which I extracted from the full zip which is totally my own fault because almost every tutorial mentions it explicitly that you have to have the latest update on your to-be-rooted device AND make sure that you have the same ROM available to root your device.
Questions welcome!
