I have the above rooted phone with official rom Android 5.0 and I would like to know if exists a way to disable magnet reed switch to turn off flip cover function that locks/unlocks the phone that display a clock for some seconds after screen lock. I tried XDA magnetoff, flip cover, auto screen on/off, sensor disabler ecc. without success. Is there a way to disable magnet cover lock screen without replace it with a new one without magnetic component?

Hi guys. I recently got an LG G5 and bought a flip case. Whenever the case flips close, the phone auto locks.
I Installed Caffeine hoping that it would prevent the lock but it does not work. Caffeine works normally if the front of the screen is not covered, but as soon as the case flips closed, the phone locks.
Is there an option that would disable the phone from locking when the flip case closes?
Hi. I want to ask if Is any app for not official s7 g930f clear view case to lock - unlock screen?
I don't need any app to use proximity sensor to check if flip is closed because drain to much power (all apps I check from store use proximity sensor).
I check from my s7 magnetic sensor from *#0*# menu test and recognise when flip case is close or open (The case have magnet low left) But I don't understand why the screen is not turn off.

It needs a chip in the back of the case.

Hi, I haven't been able to find any information on this:
I have the clear view stand case, but I would like the screen info to flip when I flip the phone.
For example... Listening to music using the headphone jack, if you set the phone on a stand, you are forced to have the phone standing upside down..
Without the case, I have been able to accomplish this via some tasker profiles and another app. But I think it just might be impossible to control this.
I found the samsung intent that can be used to track if the case is closed, and using tasker I can differentiate screen off vs screen off + case closed.
Also you can use counters and such to try to determine when the screen is "on" (with the case closed) . but even though I think I have those situations figured out, I don't think you can force that screen to rotate to reverse portrait.
Has anyone here tried such things?
Yes I have done that before on older phones using set orientation app from the App Store. However it does not work for reverse portrait on the S8. I am in the same situation and I just use my cup holder but again I want to put the phone upside down in portrait and have the screen change appropriately. That app work fine on all other phones I have had but it does not work on the Galaxy S8

I have a phone with a fingerprint scanner that keeps going off in my pocket, so I have to use the pin 80% of the time. Are there any apps that will disable the fingerprint scanner, either when the phone is upside down, or when the phone is in my pocket, detected with the proximity sensor? Another good option would be to only fingerprint scan when the home button is pressed, as the phone's fingerprint is on a physical home button.
There are no settings within my phone that would allow me to do any one of these. Help would be appreciated!

I have a Samsung smart cover, and when I open the tablet up and it turns on it's always at full brightness on the lockscreen, doesn't matter if I have the display set at the minimum. Is there a setting to change this? Thanks.
