Is this the normal ram usage? The system usage doesnt look normal.. Is this a bug in oxygen os?
Sent from my ONE E1003 using XDA-Developers mobile app
Android is based on linux and linux uses unused ram for caching, which is a absolutely ok (unused ram is wasted ram). This is also why ram cleaner apps are a really bad idea.
Read this: http://www.linuxatemyram.com/
I wouldn't say so. In normal use OOS had 1.6 to 1.7 free at all times.

Yea, i am used to aosp roms on nexus 5. The system ram usage wasnt too high on that. Also , opx was feeling a little slower on than the n5. Opx has better specs. I don't know why it is performing like this.

Don't worry about this too much, we have 3 gb of RAM. Free RAM means, it has ability to load more. It keeps changing. Blame oxygen os for slowness. You can guess this by all ranting about oos on oneplus forum. Like many other, switch to custom ROM and have a smooth experience. CM 13 just got official, what better than now to switch.

Received my G2 yesterday evening, and today this comes. Unfortunately, I have the AT&T version so I'll have to wait a little bit. In the mean time, I'll be enjoying CleanROM. I couldn't be more pleased with this hardware though.
Who flashed it alreay and is everything working? Does anyone got stuck in roaming like in the vs980 thread?

Why are we not satisfied with the stock LG G2 ROM, and how does moving to CM 10.2 increases our satisfaction ?

It's a matter of opinion Erica, I personally find cm 10 or stock Android boring and we'll lose a lot of features that are currently in the stock ROM.

Not moving as yet. But the prospect of receiving on time updates from Cm is great. Wait a little bit for roms developers to pick this up and you won't loose any features but gain some.
Right now is Android 4.3.1 for cm10.2.

I'd really like to have QuickWindow (or analogue) and some QSlide-like apps - sometimes it really helps to have a semi-transparent calc on screen.

0.05 is a lot more functional than I expected from the low version number. Aside from the RIL, camera, HDMI mentioned all the other apps are doing fine so far. No crashes like I might expect of a preview elsewhere. The build isn't running/keeping background processes well at all, and had to change home screen to a page other than the blinkfeed to keep the launcher redraws down. TiBu auto-activates as premium for MoDaCo Plus rather than regular way I noticed, and the little blue X's on the help screens don't close out those overlays on touch (back button does.)
Thanks for the preview and wish you well in continuing this work, hope it will be a daily driver sooner rather than later.

Yeah! I noticed there are no kernels except for 1 which is based on stock?
What do you think we could go up to? 2.5ghz? maybe more? The nexus 5 has an overclockable kernel that goes up to 3.0ghz! Not that you need it that high and no one has ever dared go that high but still, the options there

Also i got over 37k by overclocking the CPU to 2.35 ghz with Carbon rom, did not try to oc the GPU though, but i went back to stock 4.3 because i had my signals bars stuck at 2 bars with this rom.
I'm waiting for a full stable / no bugs 4.4 rom so i can try RevolutionKernel and push that GPU to 600 MHz
I did manage this last week before it died! DoggROM v4.6 : 34391
Stock CPU clock.
This is not meant to disrespect any developer or to degrade any rom... It is just a simple question because i have a limited data plan and i can't download and try every rom...
The question is as the title suggests, which is the best rom for customization... I have tried RR, AICP, and lineage uptil now.... Any rom having more customization than RR or aicp??
Sent from my KIW-L21 using Tapatalk
RR is the best

RR has the most customization features but crDroid is just a bit behind.
For me at the moment, crDroid is best cause of substratum (compared to RR).
