Official install version by Jide is updated to 205... If you can download that, open the .exe as a zip via 7zip etc.

It is a compilation of all the utilities you'll ever need to develop android apps and build custom roms for HTC phones.

Three files, use HJSplit.exe to recombine them and extract the VMDK using either WinRar or 7-zip.
The VMDK was developed on VirtualBox, but I have had no issues with VMWare.
Can't download due to size? I can make a DVD containing the image with VirtualBox's installer. I am charging $10, a small price to pay for ease.

Okay, I tried this last night and all was well except that Apps2SD didn't work for me. I tried using the RA_Amon v1.62 to move the Apps to the previously wiped Ext3 partition, rebooted, was using Titanium Backup to restore a bunch of Apps I had from my previous ROM and halfway through the phone notifies me that it's running out of space in the phone's memory.
So I try rebooting into recovery and moving them again, which appears successful, but when I boot up, the Apps which were previously installed and now supposedly moved don't show up in the Apps drawer.
Any suggestions?

Thank you. I wish (hope) I can get the Apps2SD working sometime, but I think maybe it's an issue with the Kitchen maybe using some really old Apps2SD method? They seemed to have a lot of problems with Apps2SD working in the Kitchen thread. At least for now I'm learning and I can modify existing ROMs.

Stupid question, but I merged three files and tried to extract them and it will not allow me to do so. What exactly do you do with the files once merged?
Once merged you must un-7zip them. you can use winrar for this.

Yes...chance, It'd be VMWare only and I'd need to hack the OEM and a bunch of other hassles. This works fine with virtualbox and is simple!

OK, see thats what I did. I tried unzipping them with both Winrar and 7zip and would not unzip.

I'd love to try the Theme Creator for the Avatar UMTS spyder Rom under my linux system, but it's a 64 bit executable, that doesn't run on my 32 bit system (and I don't want to use an emulator). If someone from the Avatar team is reading here, could you please also upload a compatible package for 32bit linux systems?

It is based on RockChip RK2918 CPU
CPU: Cortex A8 1G
RAM: 512 MB
Since Android 4.4 has just been released, I was thinking to compile it from source code and flash it to the device.
By following this guide, every thing should be easy.
One problem is, I don't have the "proprietary binaries", but I have the stock img file of 4.0.1. Is there a way to extract the binaries from the img file ?

1. move your *.img file in "_In" folder
2. open Runme.bat in cmd
3. run the "init Tools" command
4. Confirm the copy request
It will then create two folders "Pack" and "Unpack". According to your command the new files will be created in the respective folder
i.e. If you choose to unpack the img file, new files will be created in the "Unpack" folder

I've copied the app to my pc but I cant find the "install" folder.....
Just pack the files in zip file and rename.zip to .xap.
But you can't deploy it.
It uses capabilities that can't be deployed with developer access.
You need interop unlock...
It's only useful for phones with SD card.

Maybe with luck. Works out perform the implantation as performed with app's .xap.
Also can work to replace the internal files of already deployed app.xap using the Windows Power Tools tool, the internal files of the same app already installed on a phone (models released the update) that already has certified and downloaded the upgrade, before the same is installed.

i have it but i cant patch it because it is installed in my nokia lumia 925!!!

From what I can see, "latest release" is not "latest update"... So it still B20160301 (2.0.102). And we can't update to latest version from this system.img

Ok tested and working. A couple of suggestions:
1. Enable Google services (play store etc.)
2. Include google exchange so that we can have multiple accounts
Can you post how you did it so experienced users that don't like downloading from unknown sources can test it. Thanks.
