Just download Bs player from market. No lag at all, just install it first then it will tell you which codecs you have to install

Its better to convert it to an mpeg4(.mp4) 320x240. No need to install apps. Thats my method.

Hi!
Flash my ROM - M12-ROM v9 http://forum.xda-developers.com/showthread.php?t=1445087
There are films played without lag, at least a few people are this confirmed
For me videos still lag a littlebit time to time, quickPic has it's own player as well and works pretty good!
I use MX Player.
It has been the fastest among all the players for me.
And you will obviously lag if you are playing a 480p+ video on Galaxy 3.
Vlc rocks dude!
Haven't experienced any lags since i started using vlc player.Plays any type of video just like the pc version.
Don't know about subtitles.
Have you checked the sync of subtitles on pc first?

You mean to tell me Netflix and video streaming from network works with out issues no stutter or lag? I had to downgrade to a earlier version of Cyangenmod 9 to be able to play videos again because when i instead 10.1 no video play back would work with out lag or stuttering. I was told this had to do with the fact the Tegra 2 drivers were not updated to support jeallybean and that is why video playback wouldn't work. I tried MX player in the past but still had the same issue.
Hi, does anyone else having the same issue as what I'm having? Youtube quality isn't as good on this device compared to galaxy note 3 or HTC one.
Videos play smoothly but the quality and the sharpness of the videos seems to blur and not as sharp and I already set the youtube setting to HD.

Download boat browser or another preferred browser with support for flash and watch 1080p without a problem.
If that's not an option, get the youtube mod allowing for 1080p streaming. Although I couldn't get it to work it might get fixed soon.
Turn off X-reality also, it kills YouTube.

I already knew that option but its not as easy as playing via app. Anyway thanks for your suggestion
I tried Viral Youtube app and its quality even though max it support 720p as of now(earlier used to support 1080p) is really fantastic.I find it much better than default youtube app.
