Hi can someone help i have a bit of a noob question here i would like to flash blu spark kernel on my purity rom but im unsure iff i am selecting the correct version. Is the below link the right one for onyx iff running purity rom or is that just for oxygen marshmallow?

If you haven't done that earlier , read before editing kernel settings. Run with default setting if you have no idea.

i have just compiles cm10.1 for one xl .
it have 1 gb ram but in settings only 789 mb , how i correct that?

isn't that normal? because it takes about 120mb more to get GPU working.
as far i know, in android you cant get full access of your RAM

well hopefully the rom help you alot,
for me that rom is little buggy, so i prefer CM9.1 until 10.1 fix up
What's working and what's not working in the 10.1 pukeup? is bluetooth working?
but i agree, when you install your rom the system is going to use some of the resources . and display what is left over.

The kernel in this thread is for cos12.1 YOG4P only!
It will not work with cos12 or cm11s

If there will come another official cos update I will make a new version with multirom support.
Currently I will not add more features to the kernel because the stock kernel without any more features is currently working very fast and stable

Hi @Bauer. I have been alive because of your kernel. I keep stock ROM as stock multirom base ROM and install other ROMs. It started with your YOG4PAS1N0 kernel version. Now that there's an update...I would like to request you to update version please.I cannot update otherwise..If I do..I will lose my other ROMs.. I do not wish to use another kernel except stock one please.

The kernel source seems to be the same

I will check in the next days if there are changes in the init scripts.
If there are changes I will make an updated version soon.
But for now you can use my current kernel in YOG4PAS2QL too.
I use it myself without any problems

I have now compared the YOG4PAS1NO and YOG4PAS2QL ramdisks they are exactly the same.
So there is currently no need to make a new version

YOG4PAS3JL is out
It is reported to have Google search bar fix and 1NOV security update from Google.
Don't know if this patch covers kernel as well...

Your options are Black Reactor, Arsenic and maybe one by certifiedblindguy. Make sure OOS3 is in kernel name for compatibility.

Greetings Everyone, from past 3 weeks when we're getting escrima kernel (default) on some of the roms for our Beloved Redmi Note 3 SD kenzo, when i flash custom kernel (Radon & Franco kernel) after a full clean flash, it gets into boot loop or stuck on the boot logo, whats the problem? anyone having the same issues?

You are flashing dead kernels.
Just try a kernel that supports the new device trees. Also, you should name the rom (It's probably AOEX, but just for clarity sake). As the Onliner says those are no longer maintained kernels.

If you are on pie the best one is perf from 10.3.8. For Q twisted nightly or silvercore for now. Wait a bit more and all Q kernels will have new touch drivers for fts.
