I did boot the first version of remix os for 32 bit UEFI on my lenovo thinkpad 8 that has a 64bit CPU and 32 bit UEFI
with Remix OS 32 bit refi is no more available, any way to do it?
can i install the first version and then upgrade to newer?
The RMXInstaller (found in this forum) installs Remix properly on 64 bit systems that have 3 bit EFI
Thanks, it works

The issue i am having is I have come to the conclusion that windows is totally unsuitable for this laptop. I have tried to duel boot with remix OS but i did not have enough drive space (32gb is actually only 28, windows ten takes up a huge chunk of this)
I basically want to delete windows (i have created a backup) and put android on it (remix Os especially) in its place.
Has anyone done this with any success or can anyone help with the best way of doing this.
Failing that can anyone tell me if linux mint or ubuntu would be significantly lighter than windows so i could do the duel boot option.
My laptop is the HP Pavilion G6-1220SA:
AMD A8-3500M APU WITH AMD 6620G RADEON HD GRAPHICS
6GB DDR3 RAM
120GB SSD AND 160GB HDD
My problem is that although my CPU is 64-bit (have a look here), Remix OS x64 will not work with it! It gets stuck on a black screen where on x86 there was a cursor then the Remix OS boot logo! On x64 I do not get the cursor nor the Remix OS boot logo...
What is going on?
The PC in question is my Acer Aspire 1810TZ, which has a 64-bit processor. Specs are as follows:
CPU: dual core Intel Pentium SU4100 / 1.3 GHz
Cache: L2 - 2 MB
Bus: 800 MHz
Chipset: Mobile Intel GS45 Express
I tried running Remix 3 (v206) on it from a USB 3 stick just to make sure it worked prior to installing it. To prepare the USB, I downloaded it from a Windows 10 partition on the laptop, and used the installer to install it on the USB stick. It starts out OK, but goes fairly quickly to a blank screen. I then tested this same USB on a Dell xps 13 and it worked fine. What I did next was to download the 32 bit version, again from the Windows partition of the Acer. This one ran OK, and I was able to use it to install on an SSD partition in the Acer. Given that this laptop is 64 bit, why shouldn't the 64 bit version of Remix run on it?
Hi there!
I write because I have installed Remix OS on my Windows 10 laptop. I installed Remix on new F Partition (30gb) i made for it, separated from Windows. Everything went perf and i have the bootloader even installed (came with the remix file) but when i reboot to go into remix os it sais that its formating the partition. My question is if only remixs partition or even windows? thanks
thats normal, it's formatting 8, 16 or the 32gb that you chose for your size
I have windows 10 pro, I have downloaded the 64 bit (uefi and legacy) Remix os.
I have used the remix application to move the file to the pendrive and make it bootable.
when i reboot, im able to see the pendrive.
but when i click the pendrive, windows 10 boots up.
What should i do to, make it boot in to remix os?
