You should try with Uppercut : https://forum.xda-developers.com/lg-g5/development/uppercut-lgup-loader-g5-variants-t3511295
I unbricked my V10 with this tool
You are My Herro, My Phone is alive. Thank you very much!

Sorry for replying such an old one. But I've come across the same issue today.
It ended up solved by a repair run in LG Bridge.
Guess it's because of the anti rollback mechanism that made the phone unable to flash back to an older version?

Yeah lg bridge saved my phone lol, tbh ive given up on trying to downgrade my G4. I went through all the trouble of trying to unlock bootloader officially, only to find out i cant, and that only the EU H815(Mine is h815sea) can be unlocked??? Wtf LG? Then trying to downgrade to LP via LGUP, getting the stupid error 0x2000, searching about the error for hours, looking for solutions, and nothing has worked. Weird too because my antirollback version is 0 so i know its not that causing the error.
i want to break my LG V10 H900
anyone help me how to break in software updaing ???

Hey Guys,
I came across your posts when I too was getting the errors that you were getting and also thought that I had a bricked phone..
I am using a Verizon LG G4, VS986.
You can for sure go from MM to LL .. On the VS986 at least.. I was on the latest update.. 6.0 VS9862BA.. and downgraded to 13b
Here is the link to the procedure.... before you begin, Download the LGUP file im attaching... and when you're going through the instructions in the link, do not download or use the LGUP that they suggest.. instead, use the version that I am giving you. That version has a DLL that makes the downgrade possible (Again, I have not tested this\confirmed this on any other device besides my own phone, the Verizon LG G4 VS986)
I hope this helps.. I will keep up with this thread but if you don't get an immediate response, feel free to PM me!

Hey Marcus,
Great to hear that you were able to complete this downgrade successfully, as I am currently running a Verizon VS9862BA. I have been having trouble downgrading and have recevied the same error message as the other commentors above.
However, the LGUP version that you have included in your comment is not showing my device when I open the program. Do you have any ideas for how to get that LGUP to recognize my phone? It currently will display that the Model is 'Unknown', while displaying the correct COM port.
I believe that the problem may be related to the program simply opening when I click on it, and not installing on the system. The previous version of LGUP that I had tried installed onto my system, however your version just opens when I extract and click on the file.
Please advise,
Thanks,
Alex

Help!!! Need help!!! My LG H810 does not downgrade in any way. I'm suffering with Marshmallow 6.0 discharging the battery very fast. I want to go down to 5.1.1, but all programs refuse, give error message, even with the Uppercut. All the insatalados drivers, I do everything they have to do to circumvent the error, but the error persists, says that already has the latest version installed, or that TOT antirollback version is smaller than device version. I do not know what else to do. Is there no solution? What's left for me to do? :confuso: :chorando:

Thank you for sharing kdz firmware for this model can you please share your experience if u already had flash this file I need to ask one more question this is been said on website there.
Please note that it works on LG K371 with v10a or v10b firmware only.
Please do not try to down grade the OS of your LG K371 phone.
And My phone already has latest k37110h version so I'm afraid to trying because I might end bricking my device then later waiting for LG to release latest version of kdz for able to unbrick restore to stock the reason I wanted to downgrade so I can try some root method to see if we can able get root access for this device
please let me know what you think about this ...
Sent from my LG-K371 using XDA Free mobile app

Does anyone have a stock rom dump (kdz or tot) for the LG K371 for version k37111n?
I now have a play unit and have had some interesting times dealing with the hardware boot lock and need to reflash the firmware, but it wont let me flash old firmware. Any assist, or ideas on how to dump from another k371 unit, would be awesome possum
I dont try it I just see a post who some one was needing and i try to help him
IF you haven't found a solution, you can send your phone to LG, it should still be under warranty. They will reflash it for you.
Thanks for kdz
Because lg bridge does not let update this particular model, it tells me that software can not be verified. I have version 10b
KDZ is of no use unless you are on that version. LGUP trips antirollback if you try flashing it. I have searched far and wide across the web and so far only found this file, a handful of update .up FOTA files and an actual dump made from infinity box. However none work and i cant use the dump because fastboot wont work on the phone!
Does anyone have any other kdz's or am i going to have to create one?

Hello, do you still own a working LG K371 PHONE? May we try to dump firmware from LG K371 with LGUP?
Hi there ive searched through the forum and cant see anything related to my problem.
Im using LG bridge its recognised my phone shown theres an update but i constantly get theres an error downloading it ans iinstalling.
Ive tried the phone on 3 different machines with the same result. I havent rooted my phone, so the OS is as it comes.
Please can someone advise me what is wrong?
LG is wrong, that company is crazy. You have to install latest appropriate KDZ firmware (6.0) for your region (using LGUP or something like that) and then the bridge will find nougat upgrade and will sucessfully install it into your G5.
Same Problem

Based on your model number, it looks like you might've bought yours factory unlocked? If in correct you should've already received the OTA, if you bought if from another carrier besides sprint I would contact the carrier on pushing out the OTA update to you,

Very sorry for not replying in many months. I forgot I even had this post. Yes, I am very much satisfied with the performance in Android 7.0. It's much better than Android 6.0. Sadly, I discovered that this phone doesn't have a recovery and flashing firmware on it is near impossible. Maybe a thourough Google search could find the answer to your problem. You could try the LG Bridge program on your computer to find and install the update.

Even I didn't get any notification for update at first. Since updating the phone manually is not an option (it doesn't have recovery), the only thing you can try is downloading the LG Bridge App from LG's website for Windows, plug in your phone into your windows computer and choose the software update option on the LG Bridge program. Then keep your phone plugged in and let it update if an update is found by the Windows LG Bridge app.
thanks for replay @SirGarmaples
I mean "manually" refer to Flash phone with official .KDZ file...
my Internet connection was very very very slow (40-60 Kbps) cant use LG Bridge... Unless I get KDZ file to software (LG Bridge) in some way
is this doable (import .KDZ file manually to LG Bridge)? any one of XDA-Developer users worked on it?

Even for .kdz file, you'll need to download that too. I don't see the benefit of not using LG Bridge tool for updating. Both ways, you'll need to download the file so there's no point. I do not know of any way of flashing .kdz file onto this phone. There's literally no support for our phone on XDA. You can update your phone using other faster wifi or connection or leave the computer to do the thing overnight. Look at this thread, this can help you. https://forum.xda-developers.com/lg-g5/development/uppercut-lgup-loader-g5-variants-t3511295 I'm not responsible for any damage or loss to your phone. You could instead download RS98811c_00_ARB01.kdz from the site (it's not the BPT version) and go through two updates to get to Nougat.

Someone over on Android Central said they posted the RS98821a update file (1.3GB). I downloaded it, but it is a .bin file, so not sure if it would be worth trying using LG UP, since my phone right now has the 10h (Brightpoint).

Yeah, I posted that. It was an OTA file. I'm not sure how you could use it in LGUP, but if I had to guess, it would be through the upgrade/update option. I would assume one would also have to already be on 11d.

Yeah, until LG updates their servers with the 21a version, it won't show on website no matter what IMEI from an RS988. Either have to wait for LG to update website or someone to post correct kdz file to use.
also getting 11c here and i am on 11d.
I think the only way to get the kdz would be if you were on the 11d and upgraded through the lg computer software

I tried that. It would always say that no update was available. The only update available was the OTA that I could only get from my phone directly.

Why not just let us know how to do it rather than submitting an IMEI number to you?

You could instead download RS98811c_00_ARB01.kdz from the site (it's not the BPT version) and go through two updates to get to Nougat.

I have the 11c KDZ file, but can't get LG UP to flash it (fales at 10%), because it is detecting that Nougat is installed and wont allow a flash to Marshmallow.

If you're on BPT's 10h, have you tried going to BPT's 10d and THEN going 11c to get off BPT?
Also, you tried it in firmware update mode, correct? Powered off and unplugged > hold volume up button > plug in USB > wait.

Yes, I tried that as well. Still won't flash.

I tried tonight, and the LG UP program can't read .bin files. I even tried to rename it as a .zip just to see what would happen, and still can't read it.
So a week later and LG hasn't posted the 21a link yet on their check esn page. I wonder how long this will take. If the KDZ isn't up in a couple weeks, I guess I'll have to contact LG and see about sending my phone in. Maybe they have a way to get it back to 11c or 11d so that the 21a will download and install.
