my phone Info :
vs985
5.1.1
build # LMY47V
VERSION J13.LGE.VS985.0
SOFTWARE VS98535B
what Im trying to do is have A rooted 6.0 version so I read a lot about and its not possible without downgrading so I looked at Verizon LG G3 All-in-One Toolkit (VS985) (Root and TWRP Easy!) by NBreunig3 and the steps i understand I have to do is as follow :
**** 35B: Yes / No / Yes
(Can downgrade using 10B TOT method only using a special DLL file. Click here to download.)
after I do that go back to the toolkit and do this
10B: Yes / Yes / Yes
and then find a flash-able rooted stock rom (thats what Im looking for stock) and flash it via recovery
I need an advice if go a head and start with the process it will work or Im missing something
thanks
Yep, you got it. I can't speak as to the toolkit specifically, but downgrade to 10B via the TOT method using the .DLL that was extracted from the 35B KDZ, root using the Stump app, put TWRP on with TWRP Manager from the Play Store, then wipe Cache, Dalvik/ART and Data and flash the 35B Bootstack and @xdabbeb 's stock 47A firmware in the Development section along with any debloat zips you want from the third post of his thread or my signature below.
thanks a lot for confirming that the steps are correct , I really appreciate it and for extra u add ..thanks ... good day

Hi! If you want to stay non-rooted, flash the KDZ of 12B using http://forum.xda-developers.com/verizon-lg-g3/general/guide-flash-to-stock-10b-kdz-method-t2928140 and then try the way you tried before again. Warning, flashing the 12B KDZ will wipe your internal storage so move and/or back up what you want to keep (pictures, etc) from it.

Problem Solved
downgrade to 12B then upgrade to 23A " without rooting "
thanks so much
I have rooted with towelroot and installed supersu.
After a while I did a full unroot with supersu and uninstalled both. Then an official security update came and it installed just fine but now I get a 0x1111004 error (this device is suspected in rooting) when I try to install L.
I am a complete noob, so could you please point me in the right direction?
Thanks,
you need to flash 4.4 kdz then ota or straight to 5.0.2 kdz
because lg root security detected that you had root

but use kdz for g2m not g2
https://twitter.com/lg_firmware?lang=pl - search for the one that suits you (ofc d620r model)

Thanks a lot for replying. I just did it with no issues. Just one more question. In case I want to revert back to 4.4 do I simply flash the previous version or are there factors to consider?

You can, but you have choose "CSE Flash" instead of "Normal Flash"
I have a verizon G3 with straight talk sim (ATT) works well so far with occasional spotty data coverage.
Its installed with Kitkat 4.4.2 (10B). Ancient . When I goto settings>System Updates, tells me no new update necessary at this time.
Your "LG VS985 is up to date" . Few qns
1. Is this happening because I am not on offficial VZW network?
2. Is there any way to manually update using ODIN flashable lollipop files?
3. If I get a Verizon sim , can I update to 5.0.2 officially?
Please help.
It needs to be active Verizon Sim. Odin is for Samsung

Also, the equivalent for Odin on LG is LG Flash Tool 2014. You can use it and the latest Verizon-LG drivers v2.22 to flash the KDZ for whichever stock Android version you want. If you want root on 24B, keep in mind that most of us haven't been able to get it after directly flashing the 24B KDZ, only by starting with the 12B KDZ and taking the official OTAs up to 24B first.

Unroot and downgrade LG G2 Mini
I have a LG G2 Mini device that has been rooted. After root procedure I updated it to Lollipop through FOTA and discovered that the update screwed up my whole device. There is a way to cancel the root and downgrade back to version 4.4.2? I have no problem to wipe the device. All I want is to downgrade back to KitKat as fast as possible...

it's okey with me
I tried with Chrome and nothing happens, but when i tried with IE, it worked.
Hi,
It should be simple, but I'm confused what to do and which version to install... I have EU, not branded H850 v10e. Rooted with TWRP so official update by Bridge or OTA isn't an option. I wanna move to Nougat, but how? I can't find any Nougat zip to use in TWRP, so I figure only option is to use LGUP. But what version should I install? All I can see are branded versions...
Could someone help me and provide a simplest and safest method to move to Nougat?
Also, TWRP and root isn't problematic in N, same procedure as on MM?
Thanks in advance,
Mark

You could try using TWRP to flash autoprime's zips from here https://forum.xda-developers.com/lg-g5/development/stock-h850-20a-eu-rom-flashable-zips-t3506514 and follow the OP instructions for rooting. You could also use LGUP to flash H85020a_00_OPEN_EU_OP_1030.kdz that autoprime has also posted at the link above. Just make sure you have the Nougat TWPR installed: twrp-3.0.2-1-h850.img, which can be found here https://dl.twrp.me/h850/
Thanks! For some reason I couldn't find this flashable N zip.... But on the weekend I already switch to N with LGUP
