i want just to root this device..but the tuts about similar models (gt-s5300-03) won't work..failed to verify..

can you tell me the method name you tried for rooting,
srsroot method is popular, i can help u in that!

i tried to install update.zip files for similar galaxy phones (gt-s5300 and 5303)..
i switched into recovery mode (vol up + power + home).. selected the file and got an error.. verification failed..
do you mean this?

i want Karbonn a1star stock or slim rom
my phone is Karbonn a1plus its same to Karbonn a1star just its gingerbread (2.3.6)
and Karbonn a1star ics but hardware is same
no diffrent
so i am thinking ro flash Karbonn a1star's rom on my Karbonn a1plus
bcz no update is avalable for Karbonn a1plus and i search a lot but unable to find a1star's rom
i know only xda can provide it
so please help me
So, you want to upgrade android version ........ For that not only ROM is needed ., you also need Custom recovery & a ROM flashing tool....

Please update xda developers with Celkon Q455 device. I didn't find any custom ROM and recovery files for lollipop CM12 and marshmallow CM13 yet. Celkon Q455 has a major problem with 2 GB limited app storage in 16 GB . So please update files regards to Celkon......
