Can't unlock network/sim ...

Hi,
I bought an i9100 yesterday (on eBay), but it's branded and locked to Bouygues Telecom (France) (CSC : BOG)
So, I tried to get unlock code first by "Samsung Galaxy S Unlock Tool" : not found
I tried again by Galaxy S2 Sim Unlock : Not Found and same result by Samsung Unlock Code Generator by GPU on PC
So ... I tried to unlock with Galaxy S Unlock by Helroz : the nv_data.bin file get successfull patched, the phone doesn't display the network unlock code, BUT ... I can't register on my network
Emergency Calls Only ... and when I tried to register : "unable to register, try again later"
I restore the /efs and I tried the odia procedure : same result
Have you got an idea?
I also tried to change rom to original samsung rom, changed the CSC : nothing ...
I try to get the original invoice to get the official unlock code ... but why doesn't it work?
Thanks
Bump please
Tried with official unlock code from the carrier : "Emergency Calls Only" with my sim
The IMEI is not blacklisted because with original carrier sim it works ...

Code to check carrier lock status ?

i remember back in the days where there was a code to enter in the dialer which would tell you if the phone was currently locked or not. any1 know whats that code ?
I entered some i found on google but all i got was some weird pop up which said something about USSID errors or something similar. Thanks!
There are many codes but they all tell me the same error
did you try:
*#7465625#
?

back to original IMEI , won't unsimlock

Hi everybody,
I need help with my galaxy S2. I was on the generic EMEI but now my carrier in France does not accept them anymore. So I went back to my original EMEI number, but now I can't unlock the phone anymore, so I can't make any calls.
Typing *#7465625# doesn't give the information avoid the lock like it should but instead they is a pop up saying "not registered on the network"...so I can't even see if it's ON or OFF.
Maybe my efs files are #!cked up...not sure.
Can you help me please ?
Thanks

Connection Problem or Invalid MMI Code

Hi, I recently pruchased a Samsung Galasxy S6 Edge and bought a unlock code from eBay. When trying to enter USSD codes I get the same error everytime 'Connection Problem or Invalid MMI Code'.
I have looked online and tried the common fixes but no joy. Even trying to run a basic *#06# gives the same error. I have tried using a combination of + and , etc before the first digit and after the whole string but still get the same error.
Any ideas? It's driving me mad.
Cheers

With some carriers external codes wont work, so which network is the phone locked to? Contact whoever it is and get it unlocked that way.
Good luck
Hi Duncan, many thanks for your reply. I didn't realise that, I will contact Vodafone in that case. Many thanks.

Problems finding ORG S3 i9305 lte FIRMWARE.

Hi
I uploaded lineageOS and that was OK but when the user wanted to change SIM to another company she found that it was sim locked. She got the codes from EE but they don't work, properly because it is lineage now. So now I am searching for a firmware for a I9305XXUFOA1, no trace of it on the internet, what can I do ?. I found a I9305XXUFOC1 will that do the trick. I am guessing that if I put the ORG firmware back it will bee possible to unlock the phone.
Hope there is anyone out there who can help. Thanks.
Yes, you need to be running a stock dialler in order to enter the unlock code.
The OC1 should work.
Agreed, oc1 will do fine so long as it matches the carrier code. The last 3 digits are version numbers.
The dialer isn't what is needed to sim unlock the phone. You put the sim card in from another carrier and you'll get a prompt for a network code. When selecting the field you get a number pad to enter the code.
The carrier isn't contacted at any point as the code is the decryption key for the simlock in nvdata on the 'nand'.
Not chastising you, just passing on knowledge..
Ps, only stock firmware can interface with the unlock procedures of any device.

A stock dialler is required to enter a network unlock code for a Samsung phone. A Samsung phone running a custom non-TW based ROM cannot be used to enter and validate a network unlock code in my experience.
Thanks a lot for your answers, I will go for the I9305XXUFOC1.
