As the title says. I just picked up my new GS7 last week. And while I have always liked the looks of my phones in the past, I gotta admit, I always thought the iPhones looked better. Dating back to my first smartphone, the Blackberry Storm (if any of you remember that mess), I had always thought the iPhone was the better looking of the smartphones. When my upgrade was up from the Storm, VZW was HEAVILY advertising this new phone called the Droid. I almost got the Storm 2 because at the time, I didn't think the Storm was a bad phone, but on a whim bought the Droid I saw during every commercial break. It opened my eyes to how great Android was, and how garbage BB touchscreens were. I've always used Androids since. I've had a few iPhones here and there, but I just HEAVILY preferred the Android experience over iOS and got rid of my iPhones within a week or 2 of originally acquiring them. But now, finally, I can say that my Gold Platinum colored Galaxy S7 even looks way sexier than any iPhone. I seriously love the way this phone looks. I also always carry my phone in my pocket. I've tried belt-clips, but I always would get them caught on counters and stuff, typically resulting in breaking the clip and often damaging my phone. That in mind. I'm looking at outfiiting my phone with a slim profile case, not only for pocket comfort, but also to keep as much of the original look of the phone as possible. So I'm looking at gold and clear cases primarily. I also don't want a lot of grip, as before, I've had times that I had a VERY grippy case that when I thought I slid my phone in my pocket, it actually gripped to the edges of the pocket and fell when I wasn't paying much attention. Sorry for the novel background. But on to the meat and potatoes of the post:
I'm looking at getting a tempered glass screen protector and case. As far as the screen protector, I'm 90% certain that I've decided on the Coral Tempered Glass with the matching Gold top and bottom. I've always used ZAGG before and have no complaints with them. But their Contour Glass model isn't out yet and want to get something ASAP. If anybody has any experience with the Coral, please chile in and let me know how it was. Or if anybody else has a tempered glass screen protector they really love that may sway me, also, please chime in and let me know of your experience.
Now. On to the cases. I found a couple I liked just on Amazon, and then read that some users found some they really liked on ebay, so checked there and found a few more I'm very interested in. The beauty with the eBay ones is they're dirt cheap. But the down side is, I don't know how well they will fit and/or protect my phone. And coming from typically China'Hong Kong, it'll take a while to receive them. So I've narrowed it down to 5 that I really like (I honestly could easily make it 10, but that's too ridiculous)....
So. Number 5:

http://www.ebay.com/itm/28179505052...49&var=580958289146&ssPageName=STRK:MEBIDX:IT
-at $7.99 it's incredibly cheap. It's a very good looking case. Although the pics don't show the S7 version. All the other versions look VERY well made. Even have a stock-looking logo of the phone on them. Even the other color schemes look tempting like the black/gold or white/gold. In all, it looks very refined for an eBay case of this price range. I don't think I'd rate it as 5th place on my considerations really. I really like them all. This one is an especially clean looking case though.
Number 4:
http://www.amazon.com/dp/B01B1V3QJ8/ref=twister_B01F341F92?_encoding=UTF8&psc=1
-at $29.95, it's probably the most expensive on my list. But I've heard great things about UAG. It looks rugged. But that also detracts from the natural look of the phone I want to show off, even in the ICE (clear) color.. So it's a bit of a double-edged sword to me.
Number 3:
http://www.ebay.com/itm/20152550018...49&var=500749182756&ssPageName=STRK:MEBIDX:IT
-at $15.19, this falls about right in the middle of the price range. Though it does cover the entire back of the phone, it still looks pretty close to the regular back of the phone while providing low profile protection.
Number 2:
http://www.ebay.com/itm/27216969983...49&var=570981080744&ssPageName=STRK:MEBIDX:IT
-at $10.98, it's still very cheap. It's 2-piece metal screw-together with a clear back. So it's very low-profile, has a gold protective bumper with a simple clear backing to show the phone and not the case. So I really like the idea of this case
Number 1:
http://www.ebay.com/itm/38154689041...49&var=650654760726&ssPageName=STRK:MEBIDX:IT
-at $14.99 it also comes right in the middle of the price range. And while it also covers the entire back of the phone, it looks like it's the matching color. And I like that it's a brushed metal which won't get messed up by being kept in my pocket. And it still provides protection while keeping a low profile. Plus, it's a brand I've heard good things about, so I'm not worried at all about any fit or performance.
so anybody with any experience with these, please let me know how you liked them. Or anybody else that has any opinions on the cases, let me know what you think of them. I REALLY like em all and my OCD is making it very hard for me to choose just one. Thanks for reading, and thanks ahead of time for your replies

if you read my post. A wooden case is essentially the exact opposite of what I'm looking for. I do like how the reclaimed wood cases look, but I want my phone to look as stock as possible. A wooden case would make it look COMPLETELY different
think I found my winner:
http://www.ebay.com/itm/For-Samsung...acb1220&pid=100033&rk=4&rkt=4&sd=301905544453
low profile clear case to show off the phone perfectly while providing protection without any added bulk AND a matching gold platinum 3D edge-to-edge tempered glass screen protector. And since they come as a packqge, I don't need to worry about fitment issues. For only $14.99 shipped from CA, so I won't have to wait a month to receive it. And I've only heard good things about Nillkin brand cases, it's not even a no-brand as I was expecting to get. At $14.99, that's what I was expecting to pay for the case alone, and another $20-20 for the tempered glass screen protector. So not only did I fit all the criteria I had, it's a name-brand case, AND includes a tempered glass screen protector that I was most definitely going to add, I don't need to worry about the 2 fitting together, and it only comes from CA so I'll get it quick. I plan to read some seller reviews and wait about an hour and then pull the trigger and order it
ETA: after looking at the seller's feedback...
A) they have an obscene amount of positive feedback in general at over 200K. And only sell phone accessories. That's unbelievable
B) the feedback I was able to find for this specific package was all positive
so i'm VERY confident in the seller. And quite confident in the actual product based on the specific reviews too. I look forward to receving this product much more now
I think that best combination for Galaxy S7 is Ringke Slim case with icroo fullscreen protection. which I have, and it looks awesome!

As an update. Since I made this thread, I contacted ARTech 21, and they're sending me some cases to review as well. I particularly like the Vivid and Jelly models:
the jelly really fits what I was looking for in this thread. A low profile case that shows off the phone, not the case, while still giving good protection. And the vivid is just a really cool looking totally different style case. I'm really excited to play with em and will have reviews of all of them, including how the screen protector fits with all the different cases, which I'm very curious about
I got #1 and didn't like it at all. Sent back to Amazon. Mic and noise canceling mic holes off and it doesn't have a good grip...
new to S7 as well, day #3 today
I bought Lifeproof Fre case with my S7 http://www.lifeproof.com/en-us/galaxy-s7/fre-for-galaxy-s7/lpfr-sam-gs7.html as i couldn't be bothered with separate shopping research for a screen protector and then a case
Liking it so far
Don't buy number 2. It's too tight on the phone and you can't use the power or volume buttons.

unfortunately the pics are not too descriptive, nor the text. So I am not sure you can use the keyboard. Which would be a bummer if not. Ill let you know when I get it...
Got it. Fortunately it does allow keyboard use.

As you can see all the buttons are still fully accessible. The keyboard will take a bit getting used to with the plastic sheet over it. But not too bad. It is definitely too tight out of the box to hold a credit card or ID card. But I dont use this as a wallet anyways. Its not too bulky. No moreso then a wallet. It does come with an optional belt clip but I never wear those. The leather is nice and smooth and Looks nice on this phone. It is not as high end as my old Krusell cases for my axim but it works well. All in all I am happy with it. It looks sleek and does not take away from functionality of the device at all. It is currently connect to my pc via usb and there are no obstructions as well.
Id say 4.5/5 only for the fact that if I wanted to fit a credit card id have to fight it a while. Otherwise it does exactly what I expected and hope it to do.
Try this man,

: )
Krusell does have a TP2 case -- I've had it for a couple weeks now. It's quite similar to the TouchPro case, except for a few things:
The inner liner is gray, not tan.
The TP2 case is a much tighter fit than the TP case.
The flip cover has a cutout for the ExtUSB jack so you can plug in a charger when the case is closed.
Krusell
Can you tell me the link for the krusell one. Ive always liked there cases when I didnt feel like spending a car payment on Vaja. I just checked their website. Maybe im special but I cant find the Krusell case for the ATT tilt 2
I really liked the Body Glove case for my Asus back in the day. But this one got HORRIBLE reviews...
The Krusell TP2 case is part number 75424, and I ended up getting it through Amazon.com; it took a bit of effort to find as the usual outlets don't seem to be carrying it yet. Expansys doesn't list it on their web site, but the Amazon store indicates that the item comes from Expansys.
I've been using it with my Tilt 2 for a couple weeks' now; it's a very tight fit, so it may not be for you if you're always popping the back off to swap mem cards, batteries, or SIM cards.
This case worked out very nicely. If you are looking for a nice leather case I would definitely try it. To me it was worth every penny and does exactly what I hoped.
It looks ok, but you didn't saw this model first? It seems to have a good build quality, anyone use it?
http://www.pdair.com/catalog/product_info.php?cPath=10100000_900000_11000654&products_id=17234
Looks nearly identical. However the white stitching is not my thing. Nonetheless this one was not available at the time of my post. Believe me I scoured the four corners of the internet for a good leather case for this. I am still gonna by a VAJA when it comes out.
I've seen those leather cases and I don't get it. Every time you want to answer the phone you look silly with the thing hanging down and flapping in the breeze. I'm sure they're fine for some, for me, they seem a bit oddly designed.

The Krusell's front cover is removable, presumably to address this very concern.

And what is so wrong with "flapping in the breeze"!
Err I alleviate this problem by grabbing around the cover when its folded back. So it flapping has never been a problem... I've always preferred this type of case though. However, its all personal preference. I think someone was boasting the "NICEST LEATHER CASE" and when I looked at it, it was a horribly ugly brown phone..."purse" thing with a lanyard... So yeah all personal preference.
Hi All
Krussell TP2 cases are, sorry were, utter crap.
I don't think they even offer them for sale anymore, with good reason.
They, as in Krussell, are a crap company to deal with who do not honour their product warranty.
Advice: Steer clear of Krussell, did i mention they suck...!
Cheers

Krussell TP2 cases are woeful, avoid like the plague
Hi All
I agree with Jabberoo the Krussell TP2 cases were poor, poor, poor.
Though I found their customer service to be good to deal with in that they sent me a replacement product when I sent them a photo showing that the TP2 did not fit the case.
Unfortunately the replacement case was of a similar low quality (despite there being a big QA sticker on it)
Cavet Emptor and all that.

D

Quite true...
However, i did attemmpt to argue with them that sending me a 'generic' side slide case was pointless, as the TP2 comes with one anyway - beyond that, it was not what i paid for in good faith.
I agued for a refund in light of they could not replace a 'same' or 'better' product through no fault of my own. They stopped sending responses, i have emailed them perhaps 25 times with no further response.....
Shock horror....!!
Here's me out 50 bucks with a broken (defective) product they have not replaced or refunded. So, technically, they are thieves (not to mention Wankers too....)
I will tarnish their name whenever, wherever possible..>!
(Did i mention they are Wankers...???)
Cheers to all

Wow Im sorry you have had such a bad dealing with Krusell. For my intermediate products such as cameras and mp3 players I always used Krusell. However I have always loved and sprung for th Vaja cases or piel frama. Unfotunately for the Rhodium I agree the PF case looks horrid like an oversized Hot Dog bun... I will agree that the Krusell TP2 case is fugly too. Sad they really do look like they have gone down hill...

I like the PF Classic one though, but I agree the iMagnum looks like your description. Thinking of getting the Classic, but can't see from the pictures whether you can access the mini-USB or not :-/ Looks like you can't, which is a bummer. Gah.

You can't pull out the keyboard, no. For me that's not an issue though since I don't use it THAT often and if I do, I can pull the TP2 out of the case entirely. For most texts etc I only use the screen keyboard anyway.

Well I know that they will be adding more cases because I reviewed the site about two months ago and all they had were the Aegis and Cyclops series. The Kraken series is new for the Atrix.
I use the Speck case currently and I couldn't be happier with this product but if I do buy another case it will definitely be the Kraken because of the kick stand built into it. Dope!
I think I might pick up the kracken. I like the can lens cover, among other things.

It has three parts, a silicon back-cushion, and the two poly-carbonate(plastic) front and back that clip around it. The plastic has a soft touch finish which gives you a solid grip. I do not like that the crease between the two is so obvious, but the two are securely attached so i can overlook it.
As any rugged case expect it to be bulky.
But it's not as bulky as an Otterbox Deffender.
Unlike the Otterbox Defender this case will not insert the belt-clip with the screen facing outwards or upside down. It only goes in one way, this is something I'll have to get use to.
My favorite feature is the kickstand.
I am confident That this will supply the same amount of protect as my Defender. I will replace my defender with this and will let you know how it handles the first drop.
I have had the otter-box, hated it ... Otter rubber loose, lack of directional screen dock and no car dock for charging etc... Base phone has a great dock.
I bought the trident case, the base unit - Much better case, camera lense cover instead of a dust hole like the Otter. Rubber is much tighter and a little more grip never hurts.
Now I need to mod a phone blank, add a pig-tail cable so I can mount the blank phone in the car dock, route the power out about 3 inches to the glued on belt clip - Hey, you never know, that just might catch on.
just bought the Aegis case for my phone; i'll post pictures when i receive it.
update, if anyone is interested. my case came in the mail today, but unfortunately the package got crushed and the case was damaged. i contacted the seller and asked him if i could get a new one and mail this one back, but they're giving me trouble. said they were out of stock, but i don't really believe that.
anyways, i'm just gonna order another one (this time from Trident themselves) and i'll be posting pictures when it arrives.
it looks really cool though, doesn't look like it'd add a lot of bulk. a little smaller than my Speck case. can't wait to get one that isn't broken, and the kickstand feature is really cool

well, i superglued the case back together (i can't get a replacement anyways, figured i'd try to fix it... didn't work out too well >.<). it's not worth using as a daily case in it's current condition, but i'll snap a few pics for you! just remember that it'll look a LOT better after i get one that didn't come snapped in two pieces =\
I just ordered mine as well. I've always loved Otterbox gear in the past, but this one is a flaming piece of crap.
Here's to hoping it doesn't suck.
Figured I'd post my thoughts, as I just got the Kraken case and from what I've seen so far it is a great case. I've have the body glove silicone case I got at the AT&T store and one of the mesh cases. guess I'm a but of a case junkie. My last phone, the LG Expo did not have God support and there were only a few case options, and I've kind of gone off the deep end with my Atrix.
My daughter and son-in-law have i-phones with Otterbox cases and the way the silicone comes loose and gets caught when pulling it out or putting it in your pocket gets really annoying. I like how the outer case of the Kraken isn't silicone, it slides into my pocket without any drama.
As posted on the previous page the seam where the case joins isn't as nice as I was expecting from the pictures online from trident. But my case seems to have gone together a little better than his did. The included screen protector is fairly decent but how it holds up remains to be seen. It looks like it can be removed fairly easily if it gets to scratched up. Time will tell and I will update my review if anything changes.
Seeing that I just got it, I'll wait before I review the holster as I haven't used it enough to give a fair review.
All in all, so far I really like it.
I'll post some pics when I get a chance.

Then it's not for you. The point of a case this style is not to be slim & sexy. It's to keep heavy handed fools like us from destroying our several hundred dollar investment.
Mine came in the beginning of this week, and so far I'm happy with it. Looks and feels much better than my Otterbox did, but there is the 'seam' issue as posted above.
and thats what its all bout, being happy. I thinking bout getting one now. I choose function over form any day.. If i was worried bout how my phone looked i would bedazzle it, lmao.
As it turns out, this case sucks too. Admittedly, I'm rough on my gear, but this puppy was coming apart at a 2ft impact from day 1.
It looks and feels great, but definitely doesn't hold up like an Otterbox.

Here its the demo video for the Galaxy S4 case. this is almost the same, but with slim waist
Review from the regular Powerfull Case. this is the same but with a curvey slim waist shape. all the protection are the same:

Looks nice but I wonder if it will fit the wireless charge back that I have. I also notice it needs two screws so for those who change batteries often, you'll have to carry the screwdriver. Otherwise, it looks awesome. Thanks for the link!
Are you sure that this case is as resistant as the one on the video? Because I'm thinking about getting one, and I like this one more than the one on the video, but if you can't throw it on the floor and "drive a car over it", what's the point of it?. It looks great but it's really big and Note 3 is already big. So if you don't get perfect protection than there's no point of getting one..
thx for the link
if it's from ali it's probably a fake.

Ali's now have a buyer protection policies, that if you dont receive whats was offered to you, you can ask for a full refound, or keep the object and receive a partial refound.

Hi, yes, its the same technology, but with another shape. here its the video of the small waist, but for the iPhone 5:
do, im not sure if it can resist a car, or the motorcycle like on this video, but its a rugged case and it will protect your $700 bucks inversion.
hope it doesn't hurt reception and gps like the original love mei case does. I bought the regular one and while it's badass and crazy protection, I can't use it due to reception getting knocked down.

I thought about getting one for the summer... because i think it's to massive to carry it all the time. Please write a small review ( just if all of the signals work, and are you ok with the case) if you order it.
I like the gold version, any stock in the UK?

Well, i was looking for Love Mei cases reviews around the accesories forum, but it seems that no one ever talk about this case, so i'm opening this thread to show this beautoful case, and ask if any one has see it.
on the official webpage says that it cost $US88, but i have seen it in other online stores in half of the price.

So buy it on amazon then.
I just had a chat with the reseller in Chinese. It's a Chinese designed and manufactured product, which means it is quality. I ordered one and will let you guys know.

I am using it right now to type this. I have been using the regular model for about two months now and the gps is the only issue I have. I just got the slim waist model from a friend today. She said that it killed her signal at her house, but she lives in the woods and only gets 2 bars at best. I live in town and I'm fluctuating between 3-4 bars all the time. I have not tried the GPS since I put the new case on. I'll upload a few pictures in just a second for those interested. I like the case a lot.
I am a police officer and I keep it in the front pocket of my outer vest. It gets rained on regularly and I just wipe the water off the screen and keep going. The silicone on the back makes it grip your dash perfect without sticking in your pocket.
I got my first off Amazon and the case I'm using now came from eBay. Both were shipped from China and it took about two weeks. Both came in nice packaging and the quality of the cases is great. I'll answer any questions you can come up with. I just discovered the thread.

Love Mei Note 3 Case
Well I can say for sure that this case is a TANK as far as protection goes. Now, I did contact someone from the company to make sure that the problems with the previous version of the case was fixed and he said yes. So I bought one, Black on Black. The new waist design is cool, but some of the reported problems STILL exist. NO 4G LTE inside a building or residence. I had to remove the mesh behind the ear speaker in order to hear anyone. The bottom speakers work very well. The screen most definitely is not SMUDGE or FINGER PRINT proof. I know that no screen actually is, but this screen is freak-en bad. So DO NOT GET ONE IF ANY OF THESE PROBLEMS BOTHER YOU. Especially you OCD clean screen freaks. The aluminum is just as bad with finger prints, sorry. The rubber on the back and sides is a DUST MAGNET. The phone is very heavy, but with all that said, I am very happy with buying it. I bought it through EBAY for $30.00, and it did ship very quickly from China. I wanted a heavy duty case to protect my $700.00 investment and I found it. I am a law enforcement officer and a gym rat, so this case will go through hell and back. The issues I mentioned do not bother me, but may bother some, so I hope I answered all questions.
Respectfully,
Rick Davila :fingers-crossed:
Be nice to see some pictures or a video of the new slim waist version please, nothing to be found as of yet anywhere online, aside from the official website.....
anyone who wants a yellow one, I'll sell ya mine for what I paid for it ($30). I'll pay the postage.
it is a tank and will protect like no other, but can't stand how heavy it makes it and the gps reception and cell signal is unacceptable.
I ended up buying a Kraken case for the days I need real protection and on the normal days I run the Aegis.

Can you snap some pics of the case with phone installed please? There are none online
I may just remove the metal areas that cover the antennas, if needed.....
Is your case genuine, or one of the cheaper clones?
I am a huge fan of instant charging my phones. I swap batteries to make my phone essentially charge in 10 seconds. What I never liked about this is I could never use a case. I really don't want to fool around with removing a case, just to replace the battery. Pretty excited about this phone, but so far I have not been able to find a good case that allows for module swapping without having to take the entire case off and put it back on every time I swap. So far I am only interested in the battery module / default.
So what gives? Are there any cases that allow you to keep the case on and swap the battery? If not... sure would be nice. Also, the camera module... are there any cases that support the use of that module?
Seems strange to me that these things have not been considered yet for cases.
get a skin instead...
less protection, but less hassle
no doubt, manufacturers like zerolemon will make an extended battery with built-in case.
I don't think there's a market for a (normal-sized) battery with built-in case. If you look at how the bottom is removed, it's very hard to design a case that doesn't cover the bottom. maybe just a bumper case?

I don't know, a 2 part case seems like the obvious way to go about it. Could even make it interlock on the exterior to squash that 'gap between module and phone' issue.
I just have a cheap TPU case that I got off amazon..., however I can pop the bottom of the phone out to allow access to change the battery and just snap the bottom of the case back on the phone.

2 -part.... when you drop the phone, more chance of the case absorbing initial impact, break into two and fly away, and phone gets hurt after
maybe someone will make it for the lg g5.... not useful for other phones (where you remove the back to gain access to the battery)

Even with a 2 part case, the modules are different fits and sizes so I don't think any case would work... unless LG comes up with some slick idea. I don't think the Camera module would work with a case since it fits tight against the back of the phone and the audio module is a bit bigger than the default bottom.

I was aware that given designs of modules no single case would work for all modules. But, it is possible to have a case designed to fit a few. Would probably require multiple module cases 1 for each module along with a case that has break away backs to accommodate things like the camera mod. I only really care about the default module though, so I would be fine with that to start.
I am kind of taken back by this. I figure either I am the rare bird who utilizes the removable battery in a way that is rare (10 second recharge time - every time - never plug my phone in), or making a phone case is a much more difficult thing than I would imagine it to be. Either way or otherwise, guess I will just wait for a bit and check around later.

I simply do not agree. Are you saying a random company could make a case that falls apart? I agree! But an honest effort at making a 2 part case should result in a case that does not fall apart when dropped from reasonable distances.
I have had a good few Spigen cases for other phones and they have all been good quality. Ive just orded this. Spigen style armour.

Yay, I just found this case and came here to post about it. By far the best case for this phone so long as it protects well. 2 part case - hard to develop and design? Nope. I will be looking at reviews for this over the next couple of weeks to see how it goes. Fired up now. Next step is a modular case that is similar but has a break away for the camera module .

I have that Spigen case as well. It's not as thick/protective as other Spigen cases I've used, but I do love the modularity.
PLEASE NOTE that you need to be careful with this one if you have a screen protector. It's a very tight slide-on case, which sheared my screen protector off. So you need a little bit of margin on your screen protector for this case. I have seen a few screen protectors that advertise as "case friendly" which might be better with this one.

I haven't actually used me style armor yet , just sitting in my draw, it ok for me, I've never dropped a phone before apart from a flip non android, and that is like 9 years ago.
The thickness is ok for me, never liked those extra thick ones like UAG etc.
I also have a few more cases coming in which are made to accommodate the hifi modular adapter and a few extra hifi modular cover. and looking at the design, those hifi modular cover might even support the style armor case.
also purchased this morning another case that supports the hifi modular adding to my previous cam plus TPU case, I have a few cases that I might not even have a chance to use them all.
I have posted some photos in the case thread.
I also have a few screen protector coming in but not tried them yet.
I was shopping around for another LG G5 for my wife, and I found what looks to be the second case that allows for modular battery swapping while the case is on. http://www.toastmade.com/products/lg-g5.html
I have not found any reviews for this yet, unfortunately.
Edit: I spoke a little too soon. I do like this case, but it is not a case. It is more like a wrap, or cover.
Hello everyone,
As I'm usually testing a few cases during my time with a smartphone (from cheap AliExpress ones to more expensive stuff like LiveEdge cases from Carved).
The Galaxy S23 Ultra being in my hands for a week, I've been able to try out the official leather case from Samsung (currently my daily option) and the Spigen Ultra Hybrid ZeroOne.
On one hand, I had the premium feeling of the leather, and on the other the "perfect form factor" (the small hollow around the S-Pen slot is clearly one of the best proof that Spigen is paying attention to user experience), but the plastic feel is driving me insane after a few hours.
During my time with the S22 Ultra, I was mainly running the grippy Cryo Armor from Spigen or a LiveEdge case from Carved. Although the Carved one was clearly a feast for the eyes and quite practical with its MagSafe compatibility, I was regularly coming back to the Cryo Armor, that felt better in hand.
As that struggle to define which one deserved to become the titular spanned through months, I began to look for an option slightly in between and that's when I finally came across MOUS. And at the time, I avoided to order from them (Carved being quite expensive and willing to spare my bank account from an other expensive case). But the time has come and I finally decided to try it out by ordering a Limitless 5.0 case today.
What decided me?
Similar to Spigen's design (S-Pen's hollow)
Wooden option (bamboo for mine, it'll remind me my good old OnePlus 3 bamboo case)
MagSafe compatibility (as an increasing number of accessories are coming to it, can't hurt)
Build looks qualitative
Life-long warranty
Price: 60€ (still pricey, but not more than the official Samsung leather case)
I placed the order today, and will surely receive it next week. This post will be updated with a few pictures and initial thoughts once it'll be in my hands and protecting the S23 Ultra.
Oh, and to illustrate what I mean by the "S-Pen hollow", here's a picture:

MOUS S23 Ultra products, if you're interested in trying for yourself.
Review - Limitless 5.0 by MOUS
Received the case this morning, and finally had some time to give it a try.
First of all, simple yet nice packaging from the brand.
Once opened, we can take a glance at the MagSafe adapter embedded in the case. The inside of it is covered with soft felt-like coating. The inner edges are pretty sharp compared to other brands (Spigen and Rhinoshield have more rounded ones, for instance). Although the main frame is made out of TPU, you can see multiple green rubber inserts on the side: they're what they call AiroShock, which is MOUS' main solution when it comes to absorbing shocks.
As explained in this topic's first post, the S-Pen slot is more accessible for the thumb (or whatever finger you usually use to get it) thanks to a hollowed design surrounding it. Clearly something you'll appreciate if you are using it often.
The external sides of the Limitless 5.0 sport a wave-like pattern to add some grip to it once in your hands. One thing I quickly noticed is how closer it was from the edge of the official Samsung screen protector. Small detail, but still has some importance, as Samsung's official leather case is leaving a bigger gap between its edge and the screen protector, leading to a hooked feeling when using some navigation gestures.
The bottom and upper lips are a little higher than the sides ones, which should protect the display if it was falling face down to the ground. Overall, I'd say that the case fits well when the S23 Ultra is in. Not adding too much bulk, and looking quite robust.
Once the phone is showing its back, it shows the embedded bamboo panel and cameras' module protection. At the opposite of the Samsung's leather case, the module a small raise around it, and the design is quite open, which looks better if you like seeing your S23 Ultra's colour or want to try a colour combination suiting your tastes or matching your case.
On the MagSafe's side, it works as intended, but I noticed my ArcHybrid Portable Wireless Charger was heating a little more than intended. It also happened when I was using Carved's EdgeLive caseon my former S22 Ultra, so I have two theories about it:
The case is too thick, forcing the charger to input more power to reach an efficient electro-magnetic field
As I could read here and there, the MagSafe adapter shouldn't go for a full circle design (opened designs were advertised as better regarding this)
Well, it seems wireless charging with the MagSafe compatible accessories will have to be improved.
One last thing that also disappointed me a little is on the side buttons-field: fully plastic... It's not dramatic, but I think leaving the choice to customers to get an add-on with an anodised aluminium option or something made out of the same material as the back plate would have been nice. Otherwise, they click good, so their main goal is achieved.
And final point: if you are a little clumsy, MOUS' case has holes to attach a strap. So would you be a righty or a lefty, you can secure your phone to your wrist.
Final thoughts
With only a limited time in hand, I feel that this case will be pretty satisfying to use everyday. Sure, there are points to improve for a future Limitless 6.0 , but I can see design choices that I'm clearly looking for and a solid build quality. It's still a 60€/65$/55£ case, but my personal expectations are met. I'll publish an update if I encounter any issues with it in the future.
Edit: after 5 minutes of wireless charging, the Spigen ArcHybrid Portable Wireless Charger is triggering its protection and stopping the charge (too hot to even hold it longer than a few seconds).
On the other hand, my other wireless chargers are working without issues, so I'm more inclined to think that it's solely coming from the Spigen's device.
Review published.
Added an edit about the wireless charging.

Far too bulky for me (due to the card tray), but as long as you're satisfied, that's indeed perfect.

It really is gorgeous... So I own a Pixel 7 Pro and had the S22 Ultra.
I very rarely go for 3rd party cases. The only one I would normally consider is Bellroy - Their quality for me is mental.
But I thought about NOT upgrading from the S22U as the S23U didn't warrant it, Until I heard about Snapdragon etc which means for me till be a battery life champion. (Why does this matter?)
Well - I always loved the Moto X style stuff that Motorola did many moons ago. So I did some research and came across Mous. Had some spare dollar (GBP) sitting around and took the plunge... I was in love. I ditched my old S22U protective stand case (Official) and went full on Mous. It was soo good, I ditched my official case from Google and went with the Walnut one for the P7P too.
Then I upgraded, got my S23U on Friday the 10th Feb and decided to go with the same case for that.
I kid you not, the feel of the wood is so nice and the bumper case around it is very good quality. (I was going to go for your colour for the Pixel - But they didnt have it)

I've heard about Bellroy, but never gave a try (yet?). Do you have one specific pick from them that you'd recommend?
I also had the S22U stand case, and used it... Two days? Was quite a disappointment (I'm really struggling with full-TPU cases, which is also why the Spigen case with UV printed internals also didn't make it as a daily choice).
For the Pixel 7 Pro, I was thinking about the one below, which is quite stunning on pictures and surely interesting in the sun.
Are you from Mous ? Looks like a paid placement?

Others may disagree and have had negative experiences which is completely understandable. Both sides of the coin!

No, just sharing my experience with a brand I don't see the name often around here, and it's always a good thing to share these experiences, as it might help some people figuring out what they want to buy and keep instead of buying multiples cases they won't be happy with before finding the chosen one.
It's not guaranteed that I won't find a better brand to stick to in the future, but for now, MOUS is making my day.

Ahah, same here. Though I prefer wood and leather over fabric (have you already checked Carved and OxyWood for wood + resin?).
Yes, I noticed the design was extremely similar to the official Samsung ones, so I don't think I'll give it a try until I change my S23U, as I already have a leather one. But I'll remember it for a future occasion, thanks.
My biggest problem with this brand was the magnet strength. I have it for the Pixel 7 Pro and my magsafe stuff barely stick. I slapped on one of those magsafe metal rings and it's a TON better, but kinda defeats the purpose of the case. I think I'll just go naked with a dbrand skin and the metal ring this go around

Yeah, I noticed it was slightly weaker than one of my other case equipped with a third-party metal ring, I put it on the embedding depth, but I cannot be sure. My Spigen MagSafe wireless charger was sticking quite well, though.
How about the effect of the magnet on the S-pen? Any comments on that?

I've seen no effect/differences so far. And I how no issues with the Carved case and my S22U either. They advertise it as a magnet, but I'm quite sure it's only a magnetic compatible material (or alloy).
