Hi, youtube only show normal videos, nothing of 60 fps... What can we do?
You can go to your prefered browser and set "see as desktop" in the Youtube page, then search a video in 60fps and do it as you do in your pc/mac...
La cosa es usar la app que es mucho mas comodo de usar.
now is worts, i only can see in 480 since last update of youtube
now is worst, i only can see in 480 since last update of youtube
If a video is uploaded as 30fps (or 24/25) the phone is able to play up to 1080p.
But when a video is 60fps, YT app doesn't allow to play anything higher than 480p
Tried several ROMs, tried spoofing phone model (in build.prop), no avail.
Any info as how to get 60fps playback in app would be appreciated
Still no idea, this device can handle 60fps fine anyway.
Nothing new?
Looks like YT added P9000 to its '60fps compatible' list. I'm on Aerom v5 and 60fps videos play just fine

I am not sure if this is where this thread needs to go, but I am trying to make a video with clips of my recovery (I had a spinal-cord injury last summer and can not walk, yet), my phone tells me the resolution of these videos is 1280x720, however when I upload them to YouTube (or Google Drive or Dropbox) the video only takes up about half the total width, like this:
http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=R3SXSMd3wwY
This is an issue because I am trying to make a video, to show all my doctors, therapists, family and friends but the clips only use about half the total screen and I need more, is there a way I can fix this or will I need to buy a video camera?
This is what happens when I try to import the clips into iMovie, the clip with the correct orientation looks like this:
{
"lightbox_close": "Close",
"lightbox_next": "Next",
"lightbox_previous": "Previous",
"lightbox_error": "The requested content cannot be loaded. Please try again later.",
"lightbox_start_slideshow": "Start slideshow",

"lightbox_download": "Download",
"lightbox_share": "Share",
"lightbox_zoom": "Zoom",
"lightbox_new_window": "New window",
"lightbox_toggle_sidebar": "Toggle sidebar"
}
And when I rotate the clip, it takes up the full space but the orientation is not right:
I made a quick movie then sent it to www.vimio.com. It plays correctly.

But it looks like the import into iMovie is the problem. How are you transferring clips to your mac?
To the best of my knowledge it depends on how it is filmed.
Recording in landscape mode should fix the issue.

Amigo you are so right. I made another video holding the camera in portrait and I got this:
Which matches the OP's video.
Good job!
So this has been going for a while now, started happening when i updated the phone firmware to the before last version (before .587) and I gave up trying to find a fix for it at the time thinking maybe that with a new version it would fix itself but here I am with a new version installed (4.1.B.0.587) and still the same problem remains. I already tried updating/ uninstalling and installing the adobe flash player, disabling/enabling gpu rendering and searching everywhere I could for a fix but none so far has been found. So I am here with my last hope that someone might know a fix for this annoying problem because I cannot watch youtube videos in my phone like that, not just because "i dont like" but also because sometimes it makes my phone reboot / crash entirely.
Attached are screenshots showing the blocky/artifacts examples that constantly appear in the video. Notice the greenish and blocks showing in the middle/lower section of the video. These are not always at that position, its random.

And while watching normal videos from your sd card or phone memory, everything is ok?
Yes, I even download the youtube videos and tested it in the xperia player and all worked fine, even the 720p videos.
I'm hoping that someone may have a solution to this problem...
I recently purchased an Android Smart TV Box from China (Ebay). It's model is GV-11C running Android 4.0.4.
This TV Box has a built-in 2MP camera. See pic...

I bought this purely for using Skype on the TV (and watching the occasional DLNA movie).
The function of the TV Box itself is great, apps work fine and it does everything I want it to.
However... When using the camera for Skype calls, the video is way too dark.
I've checked the video recording within the Camera application and can confirm it appears to be the camera in general rather than Skype.
When I switch the camera to picture mode (rather than video) I can increase the exposure to +2 and this looks acceptable. However, this setting does not save for video mode.
Is there ANYTHING I can do to increase the brightness/exposure of the video camera by default?
Willing to try just about anything as the only reason I bought this Box was for the camera.
Here is a screenshot of the 'About' page.
Thank you in advance
for those of you who couldnt stay logged into the youtube app.At least for me i noticed i couldnt be logged in otherwise if i was then the youtube app would close right when i opened it. I found a version of youtube that keeps me logged in and works good, if you dont mind the youtube 3.5.5 then go get it and enjoy force close free youtube. Also i got this version of youtube so i can modify the dpi settings and it makes the youtube app have a 3D carousel look to it. Ill post some pics in a second.Good thing i didnt brick my device. The youtube account in these screens isnt mine its my friends but he let me use his for proof of use that account log in works.
