standard battery drain / onyx doze wakelock - OnePlus X Q&A, Help & Troubleshooting

Hi
Few days ago i bought OPX and flashed CM 13 ROM (Purity ROM) with andy's Buffalo kernel. Everything is fine. However there is a strange idle battery drain. It drain 1% battery in every while it sleeping (sometimes it is more than 1%) ..Then i installed wakelock detector and tried what is happening.. Those are two wakelocks that drains the battery OnyxDozeWakeLock and AnyMotionDetector wakelock. I've installed Naptime also..So what are those OnyxDozeWakeLock and AnyMotionDetector wakelock ?. Is this a default doze mode for OPX? or is this from Naptime.. ? Appreciate any help.. Also recommend any good kernel or ROM that you know. This is a gift for my girl..So i need ROM to be good enough coz i can't test it always like my own..

I have the same problem .. did you find the solution ?

Help with battery drain on ICS

Hey guys, I tried both cm9 nightly and rc2 prefinal but both are giving me lot of wakelocks and phone drains about 25 % in 6 hrs standby, better battery status showed 5 hrs partial wakelock by google event log service, I came from cm7 and did a full wipe before ICS, please help me, tell me if I need to change any setting or is this problem faced by you people also ?
Did you tested battery calibration? I make it every rom change and by now it become always better. But indeed I notified also that ICS is more battery-expensive.
Ics will drain battery .. else try djnoxd ics kernel , its having better battery life than stock kernel
Regarding wake locks, I am not having any problems.. check with your installed apps.
battery calibration is useless, the truth is that you don't need to do it unless you get wrong battery readings

[Q] [Help]Battery Drain on CM10.2 (Two Days of search and nothing, Please HELP!)

Hey, my name is Rashid Abbasi and I'm using Samsung Galaxy S III (GT-I9300).
Few days ago I was on Stock 4.1.2 and I had a good battery. Then I upgraded to 4.3 (via Sammobile), battery was Ok but it was a bit laggy.
So I decided to install the Cyanogenmod 10.2 (Stable) from (download.cyanogenmod .org). I really liked the Rom, it was smooth and fast but the only problem is that battery drains really fast. I tried Juice Defender, Greenify, One Power Guard (Tried all Modes) but nothing worked.
I removed my SD Card, Turned of Wifi, Bluetooth, Mobile Data, Backup services, Location services, factory reset, removed cache, and almost everything to prevent battery drain.
After I installed No-frills CPU Control and checked the Deep sleep option, now when my phone is on standby, I don't even lose a % for a long time). But when I use the device, the battery drains really fast, it won't even last 1-3 hours with low-usage.

I have not tried CM 10.2 ever but it seems that it's a bug...
I used SlimBean rom and it was really good and there was no problem with battery Drain... Try SlimBean... If problem doesn't solve, try different kernels like boaflla...

Hows the battery on SlimBean? Is it stable and fast? Any bugs?
I'll probably give it a try in few days if battery on CM10.2 does not fix.
It is good to try "battery doctor" by KS. that is a free app that you can get in play store. it will tell you what apps or program that drains your battery and it will give you a choice to fix it. awesome app.
Are you wiping correctly?

Yes I believe I do, I did the factory reset from the system settings and as well from CWM recovery and wipe cache and delving cache

SlimBean is really good... I don't see any bugs ever... And battery last for 24 hour at least
[ROM][4.3.1]Slim Bean - i9300 [Stable Build 2]
I have moved to WanamLite V7.3, and now my battery last for 50 hours!
If you want the best battery, try the newest 4.3 MK6 or ML2. No other rom can beat that in terms of battery life, not even CM.
And the lag has been fixed the newest releases.
Thanks for your replies!
So at last I decided to go back to stock but rooted, I have to admit the battery on stock is better then custom ROMs and much smooth and faster.
I use Temasek's Unofficial CM 11 alongside Boeffla Kernel which I have also tweaked in order to get the best battery life...
Using Dalvik runtime I have 1.2% per hour in standby, while on ART its 0.4%...
You can achieve a good battery life on all roms, since it is not as much related to it, but rather to the kernel used...

[Q] xperia p sudden battery drain issue

i have been using xperia P for more than a year and um quite happy with it except one fact which is the battery drain issue. my phone is running stock JB with nemesis 6.3 kernel and some other excellent mods.bt when the battery level is below 40-30% it suddenly falls below 20% both with the stamina mode on and off! i have tried almost all the stock based custom roms and this issure persists.this doesnt happen whn the battery level is above 40%, i have been facing this issue since i bought it! i have gone through many threads but no helpfull solution so far.any suggestion/help on this?
There's no way anyone can predict what is causing your battery issues without posting some more info. If it has persisted across different roms and kernels then the issue is most likely the apps or tweaks you have installed or the battery is going downhill. The built in battery stats in the Settings are about useless. I suggest checking out some advanced battery / wakelock detector apps like:
GSam Battery Monitor
https://play.google.com/store/search?q=gsam battery monitor
Better Battery Stats
https://play.google.com/store/apps/details?id=com.asksven.betterbatterystats
Wakelock Detector
https://play.google.com/store/apps/details?id=com.uzumapps.wakelockdetector
Without a few days of keeping track with an app like that, saying I have bad battery life is about as effective as going to the doctor and saying I hurt, but not telling him or her where at.

S9+ on pie not going to deep sleep

Im getting only light sleep on my s9+
After some investigation using battery historian i got tons of wakelocks from dhdpcie_host_wake about (156.70/hr)
is this normal ? any suggestion to fix it ?
battery life is not that bad on it (loosing about 1-2% per hour)
but i think it can be improved with deep sleep functional
thanks for any suggestion
Have the same problem ! about 150/hour on a custom PIE rom on S7 G930F in full doze. Its related to wifi ! If i have only mobile signal i dont get this wakelocks. Tried Naptime do disable wifi on sleep, dropped to almost zero calls, but ... the battery was worst !!

Battery idle drain

plz HELP me ...
How is your SoT so low? Unless you game a lot it should be significantly higher. In crDroid 6.9 with stock OD kernel I am averaging 10 hours. No gaming other than casual ones. Airtel isn't good in my locality. Previously with Idea it was around the 12 hr mark. I have used NGK for 2-3 months and it also used to deliver good battery backup.
Idle drain has been an issue but nothing as high as yours. Normally 0.5-0.8%/h. With NGK it was a bit lower IIRC. I am using BitGApps which enables Battery Optimization for Google Play Services. Helps in idle drain a bit.
Install Better Battery Stats and check if any rogue apps are keeping the device awake unnecessarily. Recently I went through a 3 week period where idle drain was really bad, 3-4%/h. After blocking a bunch of wakelocks like qcom-step-chg, IPA RM_12 etc it was back to normal.

I am using Smartpack Kernel manager for the same. But the kernel must also have support for blocking wakelocks built-in.
There's also a Magisk module Wakeblocker? which should work independently of kernel support but I didn't have any success with it.
