Hi there, first post, thanks for such an imformative site.
Anyway, when I tried this I received the following error message:
Connection problem or invalid MMI code.
I have both wifi and cell service. The phone was new out of the box last week and other than installing a few application on it, I haven't done anything else.
thanks

Hi, ur using a Optimus T ? The optimus one is sold on the US ?
Have a look on Settings, About phone and check for the Model Number. The chinese one is the 503, so maybe the system code is different depending of the "commercial name". On my european's stock one I have "LG-P500", what do you have ?
I remember this because I was using a LG GW620 and with a Korean firmware from ZacPod the internal code was 5200 ('cause KH5200 was the GW620 in Korea).

Hi thanks for getting back to me so fast. The model number for my phone is LG-P509. Using 509 instead of 500 works perfect, so yeah I guess it is based on the model number.

Clicking on Factory Reset menu shows
Format SD Card
Factory Reset
Delete User Data
You will expect to show something like "Are you sure?".
But it don't. It just resets.
I know I am a fool and I did it just now.
Hey guys i just was giving a Lumia 710 and was wondering if there was a fix to a problem im having, the phone keeps saying invalid or no sim, but my sim is in the phone, it is a tmobile phone and so is my sim, it even shows my phone number but dosnt connect to my service or anything... any help?
Hi,
Any baseband error will result in this condition. Have you played with custom roms ?
Maybe you have version mismatch wp7/rex, or baseband is corrupted. Maybe
reflash to the latest version and check.
BR
it was like this before i even unlocked it
can you provide links or any help? im a noob when it comes to wp7
Really a strange problem, if you are using a pincode, remove the pincode and see if that helps, otherwise try another simcard.
Succes,

Okay thanks, there are not much options left.
But we still have two problems, could it be the phone or the sim-card.
About the phone, did you already a factory reset and installed everything again ?
If not, I suggest to try that first.
Can you also tell me more about the sim-card, did you cut the sim-card yourself to fit in the phone, ordered a new sim, using an old one ?
First, if you ordered a new sim-card, just call T-mobile and asked them if you have to activate your sim.
Second, try to put a piece of paper on the sim-card to make it more stable.
For now I'm out of options,
Good luck,
Hi Guys!
Does any of you know how to sim unlock the specified phone? (GT-S7275R)
Do i need to root the device? Which is the best rooting program/method?
Or i just need a code to sim unlock the phone?
If someone can help me i would be very happy
Thanks!

Sim unlock usually don't matter which phone its in.
The SIM only is locked.
Try using the wrong password untill it requests for PUK code, then get your PUK code handy.
Usually sim providers can give you your PUK code.
UNLESS YOU STOLE IT
Then you're a nigga**** !
XD
JK
Let me know if it helps.

I want to use my phone with a vodafone SIM, but the phone is locked to T-Mobile.
Of course i know the PUK code I did not stole the phone or the SIM card
With this method I can use the phone with my Vodafone SIM?
The phone is rooted by the way.
When I enter my PIN code for the SIM, the phone asks for the network unlock code. That is my problem. And I can't use it with my Vodafone SIM card
Any solution for this?

No worries mate.
So first to download is the original firmware.
Go here -> http://www.samsungis.com/Firmwares/GT-S7275R.html
Choose based on country+mobile.
Hover the mouse over the words and it will show the country name if you're unsure.
So for example im in Malaysia and the latest firmware is XME, S7275RXXUANA3.
Once downloaded, the file is a single file. Extact it and you'll get an md5 file.
Use whatever odin version u have. I used odin 3.07
And select 'PDA' only. Then go to the downloaded file.
Proceed with flashing. Click start and wait for the phone to be installed.
Once install, phone should be brand new.
If phone stuck at boot screen, enter recovery and wipe cache and partition.
Let me know how it goes. !

I cannot confirm if the phone will be unlocked. But its worth a try.
But many websites charge you to get it unlocked and im not sure if there's a cheaper method.
But i can confirm that there is no CWM recovery for our phone yet.
Its the normal samsung official recovery i was speaking of.
Turn off phone, press 3 buttons at once (On/off button + home button + volume up button) .

Use ChimeraTool. It supports.
Hi - those firmware links are now dead (not the website, but the download links within that). Any alternative locations? Thanks, Geoff
Note: Flashing different firmware will NOT unlock a phone that is locked to a particular service providers sim you will need to get the unlock code from your provider or from one of the online services.
There are several online providers that can unlock GT-S7275 series phones online. The best ones will use a client software package that you download and install on your computer. You then need to pay them for the unlock before you can unlock the phone. Part of the process is changing your phone to Diag mode by setting the USB to DM+MODEM+ADB this is done by dialing *#0808# however on some S7275 Phones like the Telstra Australia GT-S7275Y dialing this code will not access the needed menu however it can still be accessed.
For Telstra Australia GT-S7275Y and similar phones you need to open the stock calculator app and type (+30012012732+ (note that the ( and the + signs must be typed) this will then open the Factory Mode dialler you can then type *#0808# and the menu will appear.
Don't forget to put your phone back to MTP+ADB (the default setting after unlocking).
When i received my S6 Edge (SM-G925F) a few months ago i noticed there was no Android 5.1.1 or 6.0 update for the phone for some reason, the signal was just fine back then and i could use mobile data just fine, i noticed i had the "United arab emirates" modem, model or country, or whatever you call it, so i went to a site where i could download Samsung firmware and noticed there were a 6.0.1 version for the SM-G925F United arab emirates country version, so i downloaded the firmware, Samsungs drivers and Odin3.10.7, when i had flashed the firmware and the phone had booted up i noticed that i couldn't select any of the network providers in mobile data settings, all of them are swedish since i live in Sweden, so then i thought i'd try flashing a different country instead, i tried flashing U.S, Sweden, and a bunch of others but most of them only gave me bootloops, i don't know what i did wrong but i could really use some help rn :crying:

Hello every one.
I have a bricked ZTE phone that stuck on logo screen, and I want to flash a stock rom. But I don't know what the model is. Because the phone has no hints that show the model like serial number or anything. and when the phone is switched on it shows only "ZTE" without model.
I took some pictures of it and I hope you tell me what the model is.
Thanks.
