Phone call in progress pop-up mod? - MTCB Software Development

One of the things that is a little annoying about the way these units handle phone calls is the progress/call button pop-up bar that comes up when a call is in progress - I hate that it's locked in place and prevents you from accessing the screen while on a call - really annoying when I've got navigation running and I can't see all the info -
I got the newest stock firmware for my Eonon 4.4.4 Rk3188 quad core unit from the vendor and it has an updated call pop up that has a button that lets you minimize the popup during a call so you can use the screen - really cool - I posted this on the Malaysk thread, but I figured this might be more appropriate - is it possible to extract just that feature from the firmware and create an APK or some other way of modifying the Malaysk or any other ROM? It's way above my pay grade, but if it is possible it would be useful i think - here's the link to the firmware:

This is the full stock firmware, not just the phone pop up - trying to see if someone is able to take just the phone control portion and create an APK or some other way of replacing the one that Malaysk is using -

These are very nice, but with the pop up on the stock firmware, you minimize the whole bar and bring it back up - no need to make it transparent - I wish I had the brains to extract it! When I use navigation, all the info is at the bottom of the screen, so I can't see anything
