Hi
I flashed the phone with invalid firmware using SP_Flash_Tool.
Now SP_Flash_Tool and Windows doesn't see the MT65xx Preloader USB device after disconnecting/reconnecting the battery.
The phone doesn't switch on.
Is possible to recover a preloader on MTK6577 (Zopo ZP 900) using the flex cables or other methods?
Thank you
I have same situation. Did you find any solution for this?

MTK6577 Tablet
Hey guys .. any solution ?
Lenovo A2107A-H, Dual SIM dead after SP-Flash
I stand in a row with you all, I also have killed my tablet with SP-Flash, It appears as Alcatel Single RNDIS Interface in Win7 control panel's network adaptors and in Win8.1 as "unknown device". I already uninstalled the drivers, the Win7 needed to reboot after that, but re-installed the same sh** after reconnecting. I have heard about another tool, not SP-Flash, which shall be able to "find" the tablet on the USB bus, but I don't remember the name.

I un-bricked my Lenovo P770 yesterday!
How to do this:
1) Download and install "MT6577 USB VCOM drivers" -drivers for your phone
2) Open Device manager in your computer. Then "View" and "Show hidden devices" (do not close Device manager)
3) connect your phone to PC by USB cable (without battery, some phone with battery)
4) In device manager, in Network adapter (in my situation, after few second) shows "Alcatel single rndis interface #. . ." - it can appears and disappears!
5) When "Alcatel single rndis interface #. . ." appears click on this device Update drivers->Browse my computer...->Let me pick.. and here you should see "Mt65xx Preloader" if not you should find your driver.
6) When you update this driver you could use Flashtool v3->loading scatter file (you can find your android on needrom website. for example: P770_ROW_S110_130204_707WOW) -> check only PRELOADER and click Download
then connect your phone again to USB (without or with battery) and wait some seconds.
GoodLuck!!!
You can control on needrom website
I have the same issue. mediatek S8 - mt6577 7inch tab
hi guys,
I've Lenovo TAB A5500-HV i used MtkDroidTools to create backup which located in my PC, and tried to install the Offical ROM A5500HV_A442_000_024_141007_ROW using SP Flash Tool v5.1352.01 using the option Download, after it starts in about a second the windows - windows 8.1 x64 - just restarted and since then the tablet won't start neither normally nor in recovery and when it get connected to PC the windows says Unknown USB Device (Device Descriptor Request Failed) and no the Mediatek DA and Mediatek Preloader don't get recognized at all in the Device manager.
i know it's totally dead and i searched for long time on the internet with no luck.
PS: i say the device is MT6582 but Lenovo says it's 8382 and in the droid tools it says 8382 is a fake so i don't what it matter
thanks.

I have a chines replica of samsung S3. when I connect it to the PC I find under device manager two ports listed:
MTK USB debug port
MTK USB modem port
The ADB driver doesnt show in Device manager even though it is used by other phones.
What programs can communicate with this phone especially to root it since the usual SP flash tool and MTKdroid tools require ADP driver and cant find this phone?

I'm trying to install stock rom to Lenovo a2016a40 (Lenovo B). After I connect phone to my system using volume down key preloder appears in device manager but after few seconds it disconnects from pc. I have tried to install via SP flash tool but it fails and gives error.
I have tried to update all mediatek drivers , changed port and cables but still I'm facing that issue , please help with this issue.
@sangram200
AFAIK Lenovo Vibe B is based on Mediatek chipset, hence SP Flash Tool seems to be the correct one.
It just disappeared from Device manager on PC
It simply disconnects from pc after few seconds ( disappeared from device manager), hense SP tool fails there is no issue with flash tool , its the connectivity issue but I don't understand why it disconnects from PC ,I have tried to update drivers and changed cables and switched ports but still having same issue.
@sangram200
I'm pretty sure you haven't installed the correct USB-drivers as needed, for example the MediaTek MT65xx USB VCOM Driver: this USB Driver will make sure that your MediaTek Android device is properly recognized by your PC, it ensures that there will be no hiccups while you are trying to flash a custom ROM or when you are trying to root your device.
