Hi,
I am looking for an app to control my sony DSC QX100 with my Huawei watch.
There is an official sony app for action cam and smartwatch 3: com.sonymobile.liveviewremote
It's not compatible with my devices.
Does someone have a clue ?
Regards
Download from here and see if it installs:
http://www.apkmirror.com/apk/sony-m...-remote-control-1-0-0-0-android-apk-download/
This link is the apk corresponding to the app I mentioned. Like I said, it could be installed but it's not compatible with Huawei watch. Sony locked it for their smartwatch 3 only.
unzip that apk
go to res\raw\
adb install apk found there

Right, so I'm attempting to port Xperia Sola skin to my Motorola Defy+. (Gingerbread to Gingerbread).
I've got some questions:
1. I've found out that .sin files must be extracted with Xperia ROM manager tool and with unyaffs.exe. The latter app cannot be used, and frankly I've had experience with such console apps.
Is there any other app out there that I'm missing?
Is the source released so that I won't bother with .sin/.img files?
2. I've noticed that some Xperia apps (I've got my hands on the music one) cannot be ported since they have some sort of protection (?) Am I being wrong?... If not, how can I "crack" it?
3. If there are other .apk files such as the topbar file - does it also have any protection?...
Many thanks,
Alex.
EDIT: This source: http://developer.sonymobile.com/dow...re/open-source-archive-for-build-6-0-b-3-184/
I've searched through it but didn't found out system/app folder.
Maybe I'm used to Motorolas and speaking a different language?...
heres my first advice

Hi!
I've updated my XPERIA P up to JB. The NFC module doesn't work properly. I can't transfer to another XPERIA P (ICS) photos, but can tranfer only contact from adress book or Youtube link. Also my phone have no reaction for XPERIA Smart tags which comes in package with phone.
I've founded more 3 guys with same problem after update to JB.
Does anybody know solution?
P.S. NFC worked properly only in Android 4.0.4 (6.1.1.B.1.54), in Android 4.0.4 (6.1.B.0.544) and in stock firmware (Android 2.3) NFC didn't work too.

Probably a kernel issue. Wait a few days and you'll see someone coming up with a better kernel which supports all these

This issue is observed both on stock kernel in JB and in Sliding XP Kernel v8.1.1. About other kernel I don't have information.
I dunno, I find it interesting but after flashing Nemsis Kernel on my Xperia P (on stock JB), the NFC works well now (at sending any files). perhaps you can try that ?

I heard about this kernel... Can you share with link? Maybe I'll try it
P.S. 2 guys have wrote that NFC works if SIM card is removed .... I've cheked it out. Yes... NFC works with Smart tags when the phone is without SIM, but I still can't transfer photos.
It seems there are many users who have issue in NFC modul:

I'm losing hope to find solution...
I just bought an xperia P LT22i yesterday and it could detect smart tags just fine. Then I updated to Android 4.1.2 (6.2.A.0.400) (don't know exactly what changed) and it completely ignored my tags. Would never detect them.
I tried to update that smart connect app andit didn't change anything.
Than I reseted my phone to factory settings. It didn't downgrade the system, but the smarttags app was gone and the smart connect app (wich has been downgraded) started to detect the tags 100% and treat them as "events". When I touch a tag it starts an event and if I touch the same tag again the event ends. And smarttag app is useless.
I know nothing about file transfers, never tried them.
I've got some news
I've did it, I've transferred files via NFC.
1. Reset setting to factory defaults.
2. The Smart Connect app updated from market.
3. Took the second Xperia P and tried to transferred files, but got fail. Then I noticed that bluetooth didn't start on the second Xperia P to provide recieving/transfering files. I switched on bluetooth and then NFC on the second Xperia P.
4. The phones must be placed relative to each other in spacial way. It seems that NFC in Jelly Beam has very low power of radiation.
5. File transfer has started
6. BUT the phone still can't find NFC Smart tags...
There is some advice to make NFC tag works with Xperia P JB (in Russian) http://vk.com/topic-35919535_28235141?offset=0
1. Run Smart Connect app
2. Enter into search new device menu
3. Start search and put the tag close to NFC module
4. Smart Connect app must detect the tag
5. Now your phone will recognize this tag and you can add some action into Smart Connect app.
For some users this instruction works fine, but not for me unfortunatly.... Maybe you'll be lucky!

I found a way NFC modules perfectly working on JB ROM.
Only flashing the Baseband of 6.1.1.B.1.75firmwares via Flashtool
6.2.А.1.100 firmware have resolved my issue with NFC. :good:
Hello,
Any idea on how to develope own clock for Gear Fit (so it can be selected in gear fit manager) ?
There some apks on market provided this functionality, but I can't find any tutorials/docs on how to create one by self.
Any idea ? Thank you.
There is only one app. Just check my app list here - http://forum.xda-developers.com/showthread.php?t=2734334
We can't use classic development because Samsung didn't release libs for development. Actually, they deleted libs from the newest Samsung SDK.

Does it mean that there is no way to develop own clocks atm ? How does all listed apps were made ?
I didn't write that there is no solution. We can have custom clock, you can find them here - http://forum.xda-developers.com/showthread.php?t=2730633
The problem is that Samsung must publish source code (a.k.a SDK) for Gear Fit. Custom clocks from URL which I post above are from person who works for Samsung (this I only assume). More precisely, Samsung deleted SDK for Gear from the newest Samsung Mobile SDK.
So I recently purchased a sony playstation 4 and thought to give it a go with remote play - downloaded from play market. From which I could quite easily connect to the playstation 4 with in my home wifi network (the app itself checks and denies a connection if the phone is not connected to wifi specifically.)
Hence no remote play over mobile network support via sonys official app.
This is where this thread came in http://forum.xda-developers.com/showthread.php?t=2929147
Read the 2nd post RE z3 phones.
Below I've quoted my post in that thread after my success with the port:
* Z3 Compact
* D5803
* Stock Xperia KitKat 4.4.4
* Unrooted & Locked Bootlaoder.
Simply uninstalled Remote Play which I initially had installed from Play market and then Installed your RemotePlayPortV0.6.1.apk (as per post#2 RE: Xperia Z22/Z3 devices.)
Subsequently successfully achieved your bypass of the dreaded WiFi check hindrance.. and can now Remote Play over 4G.

This is the apk I used from this original thread http://www.mediafire.com/?q4e4tgzzsmgmko1
If you got it Working (or Not) then please post with the below info:
Device Model Number
Rooted or not
Locked or Unlocked Bootlaoder
Android Version (4.4.2 4.4.4 5.0 and AOSP CyanogenMod Stock ect.)
--------------------------------------------------------
To anyone with Root on Stock ROM....
1. Does the official Sony remote play app deny you successful remote play feature given your rooted or does it still work?
2. Does the ported apk attahed in the above post achieve a successful remote play experience (which amongst other things removes the WiFi and Root check Sony had in place within the official remote play app found on market.)
3. Or do the xposed modules "Fake WiFi" & "Root Cloak" collectively make for the 'official remote play' app to work over 4g without need for the ported app?
--------------------------------------------------------
To anyone with Root on CUSTOM ROM...
1. Does the ported remote play app work for you?

There's not much interest here.
Regardless here's a tiny update on this regard.
I've since Rooted w/ Locked Bootloader.
On Stock 4.4.4 ROM.
For point 2 above just FYI for any readers out there - IT WORKS
Jobs a gooden.
