Hi. I need copy of this firmware to Upgrade my SAMSUNG GALAXY S2 URGENTLY
Awesome
Samsung just released JellyBean for Unbranded UK phones. My phone hasn't recived the update through OTA. So I connected my phone to Kies on a Windows Laptop and a Mac and they both said that "Kies does not support update for my phone". Does anyone know why? My phone is rooted and I haven't flash anything.
....because you are rooted!
Just flash it with Odin....much safer anyway!

Ohhh, I thought Kies worked if you are rooted. Thanks, downloading the firmware now!
Hi.
Will Odin cause any warranty issues if I use it to flash the official UK unbranded Jelly Bean on my S3 that hasn't been rooted?
Thanks
So, lollipop is out and my brother and boyfriend have both updated their note 4 to lollipop but mine always says that it has the latest software update already (mine is 4.4.4). I have also tried updating via kies but it says the same thing. The only updates I am getting is for the Samsung Link.
My phone is unlocked not sure it makes any difference and my brothers phone is unlocked too.
Thanks
Mine too didn't get update so I go to download and flash it with Odin ,,, it's works tooooooo fine and better than before

I tried to hard reset my tablet, than I clicked reboot system now, and it's only booting to CWM.
CWM Version: v6.0.4.8
I flashed this CWM a long time ago (even forgot about it).
Tried a lot of things but neither did one work (or is outdated and the download link doesn't work)

How did you reset it, through recovery or through Settings? I remember a common issue with CWM where if you factory reset from settings it will do this. The fix is to flash stock recovery then when it boots it will automatically complete the wipe. Then it should boot, but you'll have to reflash your custom recovery.
Option B would be to use Odin to flash stock firmware, but then you have to start over from scratch.
UPDATE: Flashed a rom, still doesn't work.

I tried to flash stock recovery, doesn't work. I reseted it through recovery.
I'll try option B, will update.
It should be fine once you flash stock firmware.
I just saw the message, but I don't want to pay because I'm broke.

If it's bought in Nordic countries, I need to download that firmware, right?
And also, does xda developers have somewhere a tutorial for how to use odin?

I believe so. As for Odin, there are probably many tutorials on here, but it's easy enough I can give you the rundown.
1.Download Odin and download and install Samsung Universal USB Drivers.
2. Boot into download mode by holding power, vol-, and home. Press vol+ to confirm. It should say Downloading...
3. Open Odin (if Odin sees your device there will be a blue block with a com number, if not need different drivers.)
4. Load the firmware into the AP slot (PDA on older versions of Odin)
5. Then hit start, when it's done it should reboot and take a while to get to the ROM.

Is this a tab lite or a tab neo? Idk if it makes a difference or not, but noticed there are a couple of types of these.

Saw this posted from our friends on Reddit. The AT&T leaked Oreo is still on binary 4. Hopefully, everyone updates when it officially drops.

Att hasn't switched to 5 yet the latest firmware is still 4 , I went from u firmware to att and sideload the oreo update still in bootloader 4 so I am able to go back to other firmware with ease ,but no root for oero so far the eng boot img doesn't work on oreo and haven't seen one yet , also there is no OEM unlock in dev options as we may still never get an unlocked bootloader with the two step boot that I've read oero has but the oreo firmware is nice seems like s8 though and Bixby is working ,but I would wait on official firmware ,so var sprint and Verizon are locking bootloaders so we can't switch carriers which we legal can do , so I'm assuming other companies are to follow
