How do i istall xposed framework on my rooted Samsung Galaxy J1 ( SM-J100ML) Android Version 4.4.4
I install xposed installer for my android but it says installation is only possible via recovery.
I really wanted xposed framework so I can activate my obb on SD module to play large games with obb like GTA.
Please Help!
when that message appear?Before you try to hit Install/update framework or after hitting the Install/update option?If you are on Kitkat xposed should install framework without any problem.

only xposed for lollipop are needed to flash through recovery.
U sure ur Android version KK?
I think peoples in j1 forum can help.
And yeah,U can use foldermount instead to play games
Its android 4.4.4 kitkat but i dont know what to do

what xposed installer version did you installed?3.0 alpha or downloaded from the official website?
Edit:You can use foldermount to move obb file to sdcard as BatDorid suggested you.Foldermount also can move some data file to sdcard.

Is there any app that can make the default obb folder to put to sd card so it can work in the sd card cause my phone memory is quite low like 2gb

Hey, I'm here to let you know that there is already an available version of Xposed which is systemless just like SuperSU.
Just search it down on this forum. Glad to help you!
If it's still not working, try to search for your phone's respective board here in xda, and install a custom recovery on it. Pretty much sure there is a board for your device as it is Samsung.

FolderMount is easy.
Try it,if u can't install it, I'll help.

well you can use link2sd app but you need to make a 2nd partition of your sdcard.This will save app data and obb file directly to sdcard.

I am in China and am currently having the same problem. Play did not come installed on the phone and after I downloaded and installed it on my I9300 it doesn't load. blacks my screen for a split second then kicks me back to my home screen.

What if you delete the current PhoneSky.apk from the system/App
and flash the current Gapps, that may fix it.
To properly install Play Store on the phone you need:
- a rooted phone
- a deodexed version of the APK
- NO DO INSTALL THE APK using the usual methods
- rename the APK to Vending.APK
- copy the APK to /system/app/Vending.apk
- reboot

I'm going total neophyte mode here: this is my first Android phone (former iOS dummy) and I have little experience using Android. My phone is rooted with the CF-root from Chainfire. As for deodexed APK, what exactly does that mean? Also, you mentioned that I need to copy it to a filesystem location...how to access that? Again, sorry for sounding like and idiot but this is all so incredibly new to me.

I tried downloading from goo.im/gapps/gapps-ics-20120429-signed.zip
I unzip it to my phone [if it is the right destination]
Nothing has change, i am still not able to run google play store

Go into Data/data and find the folder/file referring to that app (theme) and delete it. Also go to Data/app-lib and do the same (if it is there). Chances are it is probably only in one location but check both. Usually what this will look like is a bunch of folders in there and the one you are having problems with will look like a file instead – regardless delete the folder/file for that app and then go to google play and it will install.

Don't know, maybe because you use link2sd, so you probably fked up your sd card, try with a new sd.

And all the apps installing only themes
And themes being installed on the phone!!

I'm also having this problem when installing themes on the latest cm11 nightlies for the Nexus 5. I've tried all the earlier steps with no luck. I have no SD redirection apps either.
Hi I got my note 4 rooted yesterday and was wondering if I install the xposed module would it slow my phone down? Also I havent installed the CWM/TWRP recovery yet, so if I install xposed moduile would it still work?

If you are going to install xposed you either need to edit your buildprop to secure storage false or you can just install the xposed secure storage fix. Either way you'll be fine after you do it

Yeah I managed to install Xposed on stock rom, but now I am on a custom ROM which already have Xposed Module built-in.

I have honami flashed on my xperia z ultra, i installed cm12 honami after no os installed message, i no longer have trwp just cyanogen recovery. When i boot into cyanogenmod my touchscreen is not responsive, i cannot progress from the very beginning. I also cannot see the device under terminal nor command prompt. Please help, I'm fairly lost. U should've flashed togari rom you're lucky not to have bricked it. Reflash with stock and repeat the process

Try this
Goto play store and search for rashr install give root rights. It will say it needs an update, update it. You will see a list of recoveries I go with philz. Download it, follow on screen instructions and you will reboot into recovery than you can leave that buggy rom.
You can install twrp or philz
I suggest philz as you can use power and volume to navigate

thanks but I cannot enter play store. I can boot into cyanogenmod welcome screen, but it's unresponsive and can't select my language or location. I can try to enter flashboot but can't do so, pushing power down and plugging into usb just shows charging icon. I'm not sure if I can enter cyanogen recovery.

I see, have you tried to flash an ftf? You can flash a kitkat ftf and reroot it, and go back to flashing.

I am not able to install more than 3 games in z ultra after installing prerooted 5.0.2 lolipop
when i goes to install 4th game from my sdcard it starts install and shows "app not installed" while i have 5gb free space in internal memory and then i deleted all first 3 games than installed that 4th game it installed so its not a problem with that game and i moved on for other games to install them again but again !!!! 4th game was not installing ..............
I had dwonloaded the .fft FILES again and created the prerooted lolipop.zip AGAIN and installed again but ........................... Still same problem ......... Please help me ........... I had tried all z ultra official lolipop roms but same problem ......

Did flashtool detect your device before flashing this?

Install FolderMount and stop using Googles attempt. It will be fixed in android m. So for now use FolderMount which is an amazing app. It will move anything to the SD card

Sir I am already using foldermount premium but game app is not installing that is the main problem - saying app not installed
And I had not used flashtool to flash the ftf because I need root in lolipop and I followed the same method in one of the threads and installed using dual recovery - thread - root lolipop with lockedbootloader

No im am using premium and I can add more than 3 games but. We have to install apk before obb - and that apk is not installing more than 3 I have added all paths for all games but the apk for these obb are not installing more than 3 please help

I need a screenshot of foldermount to see. Yes I know how obb and apk work they normally download together. Have you tried the app analyzer?

i had downloaded the torrent of games and each includes - 1 apk and 1 data folder (for pasting in obb folder)
i had copied both in my sd card and tap on apk and its started installing but showed error - "app not installed" ! Because it allows me to install only 3 games apk every time
and pasting data to obb and mounting it with foldermount is the later work ....
Foldermount premium was downloaded from - onhax - and its working very good !! Its not the problem of foldermount.... I think its the problem with the xperia lolipop as its not allowing me to install apk as i am gamer i want all best games of playstore in phone !! Please help ........... I request you .......... I AM ROOTED YOU CAN GIVE A SOLUTION - RELATED TO EDITING ANY FILE OR .XML

So you download torrents and run into issues? Imagine that.
You should probably look for another version of the game.

Sorry I don't flash xposed directly to system. I don't want my system to be messy ?.
I used magisk version which is easier to control since that way I can disable xposed when I have to use Google pay
I recommend you to also use magisk module one, safer and better

i now downloaded & installed the xposed module by magisk manager.
but after rebooting the xposed installer says "Xposed-Framework Version 90-beta3 is installed, but not active. Please see Logs for Details."
but when trying to see the logs it only shows "Cannot read log/data/user_de/0/de.robv.android.xposed.installer/log/error.log no such file or directory"
i just have a file called "log" in root directory, but no folder.
do you know what happend there?

Force stop xposed installer and clear xposed app data and cache.

did a reboot in the meantime but without stopping the app and clearing data and cache.
don't know why but that 2nd reboot did the trick.
