N915F Kitkat(4.4.4)_Bootloader.tar(Unlocked "Phone bootloader update" check for Odin)
N915F Kitkat(4.4.4)_Bootloader.tar
When we need kitkat bootloader tar file for downgrade from lollipop to kitkat, we can use this. I created it with tar_tool.
Unlocked "Phone bootloader update" check for Odin.
For Downgrade:
1. Download, Extract tar file from zip at attachment. Flash with Odin3 v3.10.6. (check "Phone bootloader update")
2. Flash stock kitkat rom and use it. If you want to use custom rom Flash CF_Auto_Root or other recovery img with odin.
3. Flash custom kitkat rom with cwm.
Attention: If you give md5 error. Delete ".md5" extension from "N915F_Bootloader_Kitkat(4.4.4).tar.md5"
That is it will be like this : N915F_Bootloader_Kitkat(4.4.4).tar.md5---->N915F_Bootloader_Kitkat(4.4.4).tar
Wow thanx.. i was reluctant to download fw with kies and extract this. U r a life saver
md5 error!!!!!
if you take md5 error, delete "*.md5" extension and try again.
Example: bootloader.tar.md5 --> bootloader.tar

Did it worked ?
Any chance you could make a version for the sprint variety? 915-P
If you boot into STOCK recovery directly after flashing kitkat, do a factory reset from recovery and it will boot fine.

Wow thanks
now I am on KitKat 4.4.4.

it's good enough for fy?
md5 eror! binary is invalid........ flash with odin
how to solve???
Does this work with the 915T T-Mobile variant? I was hoping to flash back to 4.4.4 or 5.01. I have heard that the battery life is better than it is on 5.1.1. Cant possibly be worse.
Solution for . Cannot Flash TOT, Getting "Information Check Fail" with Flashtool.
Specifically for LS990 SPRINT variant , or idea for other variants.
If you cannot flash TOT because of INFORMATION CHECK ERROR in flashtool
1) Use the "generic" DLL for LS990 instead of the most widely available. This should solve the issue and Flashtool will flash like normal. Go here https://forum.xda-developers.com/sp...g-g3-ls990-t2852042/post54912191#post54912191 for the Download and thank Fergie716 for the tip.
Hello
If you have already downloaded the updates packages, you don't need to redownload them via "System update"
Just copy them to Internal storage and follow the video
(In my case I need "update.zip" and "update_data_full_public.zip" and "update_full_VIE-L29_hw_meafnaf.zip")
https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=z4nOXgsic1o
I have all the three files, but in my case the "System Update" option on the settings just not appear. How should I procceed?

The same as mine, lol. VIE-L29C636 running B370.
I've tried most of Firmware Finder's compatible versions B382, B384, but none of them work (through deload folder and 'forced' update).
The only one which works is the 81131 (VIE-L29C636B370).
have you tried to search in setting
also check in Setting -> Apps if they are the "System update" apps
I got b384 on system update ota
I search in setting "system update" appear but its not work, in setting->apps not appear
I'm not sure, but I think that when you have update to B370, the additional pack have not been installed.
try to download this pack update_full_hw_spcseas.zip and flash it with twrp

i flash this in TWRP and now i cant boot to device, please help me
I downloaded rom b384 to copy to internal storage and install by twrp but not, is there any way to install rom from twrp
@vurobben, as long as I know and read about, there's no way to install it unless trough the System Update.
If your mobile is not booting, you've to download the version that allow you to update trough dload folder (in my case, the only one which do this is the 81131 - VIE-L29C636B370). Then, you've to install via TWRP the files that @xzanium said.
In my case, I'll try to do it at night. I've tried to locate the Update on the settings, and also in the apps.
And now my phone no os, i just boot in twrp recovery. Can you make a backup file in twrp and up to google drive?
sorry, my phone is VIE-L29C185
to fix your problem you must download the rollback package(C900B300) and firmware package (C636B190) from this page : http://consumer.huawei.com/kh/support/downloads/index.htm
(search for Keyword "P9 plus")
then install rollback package via 3 buttons methode (vol+ , vol- , power)
then the B190 package
I'll try to updload the files tonight.
I'm trying to do this rollback. Acually I did not know how to do it. I'll try the way @xzanium mentioned.
just extract teh zip file, then copy the dload folder to sd card
shutdown the phone
press all 3 buttons
It kind of did the trick. Now the Build Number is VIE-L19C900B300, but the EMUI is still 5.0 and Android 7.0 (Nougat). I think it'll solve @vurobben boot looping problem.
But.. the System Update option still not appear, and the clock does not work also
I'll keep trying.
Now I'm going to update for 370 (dload), then install TWRP and flash these ZIP files: 1)update_data_full_hw_spcseas, 2) update_data_full_public and 3) update_full_hw_spcseas.
[edit]
Mine is not woking anymore..
I've tried to flash the 'update_data_full_hw_spcseas', but it's in a bootloopping also. Tried to roolback again, but didn't work this time.
Now it enters in Huawei eRecovery, try to get the recovery from the server but fails..
[edit2]
I've installed the Rollback (dload), then I've downloaded the "HUAWEI P9 Plus Firmware (VIE-L29, Android6.0, EMUI4.1.1, C636B190, Thailand, Cambodia, Nonspecific)" on the same site that @xzanium mentioned and installed just after the rollback. Everithing is working now.
I've just checked and I'm on EMUI 4.1.1, Androind 6 (M) and Build VIE-L29C636B190. The goodnews is that the "System Update" is workind now. Tomorrow I'll try to update to Androin N and get everithing fine there also.
Thanks for the help.

when rollback bootloader unlock or relock?
I could not verify yet, but I thing it does lock the bootloader again, because the bootloader option is enable under the developer settings again.
As stated on the title I tried to do SamFAIL on my N950, it was on latest Oreo and I didn't know it would not work (my mistake)
I did the system flash with the .pit file on comsy odin successfully (it finished with fail as expected) but after that I cant flash anything.
I downloaded many official FW packages, Nougat and Oreo everything fails on official Odin, gives model mismatch error on comsy odin.
The only file I can flash is this : HOME_CSC_OYN_N950UOYN4CRD7_CL13303302_QB17839096_REV00
Its from the Oreo official package. If I try the regular CSC it fails as everything else. HOME CSC from nougat versions fail as well.
What I have tried so far:
Other Computer, Windows 7/10, other cable, all versions of odin (only 3.12.3 flashes home csc successfully), Smart Switch says unsupported device, no recovery mode stuck on Emergency Mode, sometimes it boots to normal download Mode
Is there a trick to force the flash? Did I break my device by doing the .pit flash? I thought that official FW would always flash no matter what... Hope someone has some ideas. Thanks in advance!
All new update from (pro-teammt.ru) after 9.0.231 failed to flash by EMUI 1.1 Flasher, or by fastboot, giving error during last step (Huawei erecovery). My phone is unlocked mate 10 pro C185. Is the recent firmwares are different. or error in my phone?

What kind of error?
Edit: Maybe you meant B271?In that case, try B274!
verification error at 5% in Huawei erecovery
In internet search some suggest flash of service firmware to resolve this type of error.
Is safe to flash older pie firmware (9.0.0.177) my current is 9.0.0.231 (model BLA-L29C185)?
Can any one help?

That's not the issue! You should try to flash B258 or B259, i don't recall which one was released as OTA for C185.
The problem with these new firmwares is that even if are looking as "unified" for all customs, they are not.
Edit : Found it! B258 was released for C185, so your best shot is to try flashing that one from FF.
@Pretoriano80
Thank you for your reply, I will try and report the result
I tried to flash firmware 258 but gives same error
Then I flashed 177 (2 files) success, and phone download and update small file automatically
I tried to flash firmware from 258 (pro-teammt.ru) failed with same error
I left the phone to download and update itself and successfully updated to 258
Are the files different , or Huawei modified erecovery to check before update?
Regards magisk, how to extract installed boot image (unlocked without root)

Hmm! That's odd, if EmuiFlasher works on C432, it should work on C185 too, at least if there's nothing wrong with the update file.
As for root, extract the recovery_ramdisk.img with Huawei Extractor, patch it with Magisk Manager and then flash the patched ramdisk in fastboot mode.
@Pretoriano80
I extracted the recovery_ramdisk.img with Huawei Extractor, patch it with recent Magisk Manager and then flash the patched ramdisk in fastboot mode. I followed all steps exactly, but stuck at booting after pressing the phone boot in safe mode with safe mode window (the system has detected an app launch anomaly and has entered safe mode and it is recommended that you install any recently pr updated third party apps to resume normal launch) and gives lists of recently installed with first item is magisk manager. After uninstall magisk manager, the phone boot normally but without root and magisk
Any help to root?

From Firmware finder only latest full-ota is 9.0.0177. after that if the firmware is not full-ota u will not be able to flash. And Currently I am on Openkirin omnipie and I do flash 9.0.0.177 when ever i need Emui.
