Hello, I would go to the local update but I click over the application stops. Is it possible to access the local update by the method of the 3 button or the keyboard while returning a code? thank you

Hi, I just get my new Galaxy S2 from AT&T few weeks ago, and I think it is just some days ago, there is a notification saying that the City ID app is expired and asked me if I want to pay $2/month. I believe I did hit no. However, I found the app is working (i.e. I can still see which city is the number calling from). I tried to remove the app, but failed (because I haven't root my phone yet)
my question is: say if I did accidentally hit agreed to pay that, then how is it gonna charge me? I mean my google account doesn't have any credit card information. Nor does the app asked me for any credit card information.
moreover, is it possible to remove the app without root the phone?

The charge would show up from AT&T on your bill. As to removing it without root, no can do.
Just call AT&T and let them know you don't want the subscription to that app. That happened to me when with one of the new phones I had a couple years back I got signed up to a subscription service via one of their bloatware apps, I just called them and told them I did not want it, then rooted my phone and deleted the app.
If you don't want to root your phone just complain to the att rep until they permanently block the service from that app from your phone.

yeah, I tried to change the feature online, but their system is updating. I called the customer service, they said they can't have the access to my account now because of the system updating. I'm on my way to root the device now. By the way, I've already loaded the kernel from Odin, is that normal to have i9100 displayed when I power on my phone?

That's covered in the FAQ - Samsung didn't bother to change the bootlogo for "custom" binary users from the I9100
I am able to install applications I have purchased before I installed the leaked XXLPB rom, but whenever I try to buy an app now, I get a message along the lines of "You will receive email when your purchase is resolved". I receive an order receipt on my Google Wallet account, and the app says it is purchased. But whenever I try to install it, it gets stuck at "Starting download...".
What to do?
Install them while on gb dump them to sd and reinstall via file mgr. The market license check should succeed on ics.

Easy way is not to use unreleased test beta buggy firmware .
Or try search ICS market problems as other users post the same problems .
If its not a rom problem then its usually either the market app dpi or your account .

I started to donload the update a few days ago and it got stuck so I did a factory reset to my razr and now it is "up to date" but its version is only 2.3.6
I sent motorola support an email about that. Their response was "We do apologize for the inconvenience this is causing you. Availability of the ICS updates depends on the region where the phone was manufactured to be used, and your phone appears to be a Malaysian unit (IMEI ***************).
The ICS update for Malaysian units is being sent by batch. Initial Notification was sent to inform customer that ICS is going to be available. The next notification will be sent with the actual updated. When it becomes available, you may accept the update. Manually, you can download the update by going to Menu, Settings, About Phone, and select system updates (when update is available). We have checked on the system, and it is currently not available for your device. Please wait for the next notification."
By the way I'm from Israel so English isn't my native language...

Hi. Im having issues purchasing watch faces for my gear fit 2 that i recently received. I go to the Galaxy App store and go to watch faces and try to purchase one and it seems to fail but with no error message. I have credit card stored as well as paypal methods. I can purchase other apps from the app store no problem, seems to only be watch faces that is giving me issues. Once i click the down arrow it asks for a payment method, i click on my stored credit card and it shows the progress bar that it is trying to complete then it just goes away and nothing happens. No message, not complete purchase, nada. My phone, gear fit 2 and galaxy apps are all current versions. Anyone have any ideas? I also tried allowing unofficial apps to be installed as well. Thanks in advance for any help.

I can purchase apps for the phone and grab free watch faces for the gearfit 2 but I cannot purchase a watch face, it times out with an error message via paypal payment and if I try to use a credit card it just fails at purchase and goes back to the product page without any freedback as to why the purchase fails.

Thanks for calling support, was just about to do that. Guess i still should to get more attention to the issue. I feel your pain but somewhat relieved its not just isolated to me. Hopefully we hear something from Samsung soon. In the meantime i will keep trying here and there and report back if anything changes.
On my 5th tech support call now.. finally getting sent to advanced tech support since the last two times i called and they were supposed to file a ticket with them, they had not..

In order to solve this issue, please try the following:
On your device open Settings > Application manager > All > Samsung Gear Apps (or Manager) > Force stop, Clear cache, Clear data , Disable then Enable."
This did not work for me. Hopefully you get somewhere with advanced support.

So advanced tech support sent me to galaxy app store support and they have heard of the problem and I guess the devs are working on a solution, they will email me when they figure out what the issues is but they say its 100% on their end and that I don't need to return/replace the phone nor the fit2 which is a good thing I suppose

I tried by using my old phone with Google translate and managed to go through all of it. Though it says it's not available in my country. (have the v300)
I tried using a VPN service through Korea as well. But same result. Think it's connected to the LG account, but I can't seem to create one that doesn't automatically say Sweden in the profile.

I have the same experience. Mine says UK and when apply for Oreo says service is not available in my country.
If I had to guess, it's probably looking at your SIM to identify your region.
Possible, but I also did have a go with mobile data and location disabled. But maybe that is not sufficient. Maybe have a go with the simcard out just over wifi
