So I bricked my device and fixed it through fast boot. The phone works. I'm on the stock rom. But when I go to flash it gets replaced by the stock recovery. Ive tried about everything help would be great!
Samething happend to me... cannot flash twrp because when i restart phone after flashing twrp, it gets replaced by stock recovery.
What i do now is to boot to twrp instead of flashing using this command:
Code:
fastboot boot twrp-3.0.0-0-kiwi.img
Hopefully there is a solution for this flashing problem.

EDIT: fixed by erasing the recovery partition and then flashing TWRP BSv41 through bootloader.

Dont worry.
http://forum.xda-developers.com/oneplus-x/development/unofficial-twrp-3-0-2-0-recovery-onyx-t3471584
Make sure you have the latest build from above link in your fastboot folder on you computer and rename it to twrp.img and simply follow the below steps:
1) Reboot device to bootloader.
2) type in ' fastboot erase recovery ' and hit enter. This will wipe the recovery partition.
3) type in ' fastboot flash recovery twrp.img ' This will flash the new TWRP recovery into the boot partition.
4) (optional) type in ' fastboot boot twrp.img ' to directly boot into recovery.

You could always dirty flash 3.1.3, get twrp installed then install 3.1.4 from twrp. Just please do a complete backup first.

On your device, go into Settings -> About and find the Build Number and tap on it 7 times to enable developer settings. Press back and go into Developer Options and enable OEM unlocking.

Ok, I´m resolved this.
If you need install Stock Recovery you need download a Oficial Stock firmware "Zip" and extract the Stock recovery to the this "Zip" file, and you repeat this metod with Stock Recovery

Sorry, long time ago tha I haven´t visited XDA.
I have used the drivers of video´s link but i had to test many drivers. It was very dificult for my too.
Actually I don´t know wich was the drives that i used, sorry.
if you have once used some fastboot drivers for some device on windows 10, chances are most probably you will have issues with detecting other devices in fastboot mode . Either boot with linux or reinstall windows 10 is the only solution imho

Try this one: http://www.mediafire.com/file/45qwt6i4ccdnjd0/recovery.img/file
you need first to unlock bootloader (you need to be in bootmode):
fastboot oem nubia_unlock NUBIA_NX609J
Just after that you can flash recovery.img:
fastboot flash recovery recovery.img
After this you can go back to recovery from boot menu navigating with up/down key and confirm with Power button!

which ROM do you have installed?
There is a chance to need to flash an original recovery (you can find it in original 8.1 ROM from Nubia), than boot in recovery and erase cache and data (IT WILL ERASE ALSO INTERNAL MEMORY!...SO BACK UP) and than unlcok bootloader, flash TWRP, flash ROM, flash bluespark boot.img
Hi,
XT1527 surnia_retca_cus 2016-11-18
this phone doesn't seem to allow flashing a custom recovery (fastboot flash went ok but still boots into stock no matter what). Fastboot boot with twrp image didn't work either (stuck on splash screen)
I now tried flashing a stock rom but couldn't find exact same model. Phone is now bricked (flashing gpt.img fails).
Any suggestions? Thanks

Ok, I managed to flash both the twrp.img and the boot.img from a "surnia_retca...similar but not same...cid14" onto it but it still fails to start twrp, saying as before "Error: failed to load kernel! Boot up failed".

Are you on stock rom or custom???
If on stock you need to flash the firmware again, if on custom just flash the custom ROM again, it will fix your problem.

I originally only had the stock rom, which would not go into twrp as recovery after flashing (going into stock recovery instead).
I did not back up this stock rom and tried a similar, but slightly older one (XT1527_SURNIA_RETCA_6.0_MPI24.65-39_cid14_subsidy-DEFAULT_CFC.xml.zip) which failed the gpt stage of flashing and after that the stock was gone.
It now only has the bootloader working, with the above problems.

You were lucky as your device didn't get hard Bricked, if you flash a older firmware then the device has, then it going to hard brick and you won't get bootloader too. So it just a paperweight.
If you want to flash stock rom then flash the ROM by removing the gpt and bootloader command, if any error occurs keep going and then reboot the device. Your device will work.
That worked, thanks very much! Using the XT1527_SURNIA_RETCA_6.0_MPI24.65-39_cid14_subsidy-DEFAULT_CFC.xml.zip, it gave an error for the mfastboot erase customize line, but then booted into Android and stock recovery was back as well.
I am now back to the problem of getting the device to run the twrp recovery. It flashes OK but gives "Error: failed to load kernel! Boot up failed" when rebooting and going into Recovery from bootloader. Stock recovery is gone after this new attempt. What's going wrong? I am using twrp-3.3.1-0-condor.img

You're a star! Surnia twrp is working. When I started I didn't know about the different Moto E's (I was looking at the /e/ fork of LineageOS for Moto E, and they officially only list condor). Hence I only tried condor...
Luckily there is an unofficial /e/ build for surnia. This installed successfully by adb sideload. Mission accomplished, thanks again for your help!
PS.

Hi everyone,
I tried to install Lineage OS on my Xperia Tablet Z Wifi and followed the instructions here: https://wiki.lineageos.org/devices/pollux_windy/install
I am on Ubuntu and I did unlock the bootloader successfully. Then I tried to flash twrp but this is where things went wrong.
After entering
Code:
fastboot flash boot ./twrp-3.5.2_9-0-pollux_windy.img
the device did not start anymore. I can still enter fastboot mode and the device is recognized on the PC but else the only thing that happens is the LED blinking red.
Any ideas where to go from here are appreciated.

you flashed recovery to boot. So only recovery exists in boot section.
Of course tablet won't boot afterwards, as there is not kernel.
Download custom rom you want to install, unpack boot.img from roms zip files and flash via "fastboot flash boot boot.img"
Afterwards enter recovery and flash custom rom zip, gapps or whatever you need.

You can reflash stock ROM via Flashtool v.0.9.18.6. or flash another boot.img to check if it boots or not.
Thank you, this worked for me.
Should have used the right twrp form the beginning. flash to boot works if it is the right version in my case scorpion_windy
Hi,
My device is Redmi note 10 and it has A/B partitions. To install custom rom I have to boot the recovery rather than flashing it using "fastboot boot recovery (the recovery file)". But when I try to boot the recovery either with pc on CMD or phone with bugjaeger there's a error which says, "Cannot load "recovery" No such file or directory". Please help me resolve this issue. I really want to shift to custom rom. When I previously booted the recovery it would just boot normally. But one day my phone got bricked while installing a custom rom and as a result I had to flash MIUI fastboot ROM. This issue has started since then. Please help me resolve this issue.
Thanks.

It looks like it doesn't work with you.
Please document yourself before trying to flash a custom rom.
do not use bugjaeger.
Read the first post carefully.
Obviously if you try to install the twrp with "fastboot boot recovery"it won't work unless you rename it like this, best is to rename it "twrp.img"
