Guys please my phone T mobile network shows E instead of 4G LTE. I have changed phones using same sim card and it works perfectly well showing the 4G LTE network. I'm not enjoying a fast network on my 820.
Please someone should assist urgently on how to get the 4G LTE.
Thanks in advance.
P.S. I have worked on settings and chose the auto option that shows 2G 3G and 4G but to no avail.

Hi...
Mom bought for me a Htc Evo 3D Gsm at stmmiami last november i haven't
rooted my phone, it has all the ota updates, it's on Android 2.3.4, Sense 3.0,
software number 1.22.707.3, baseband version 10.55.9020.00U_10.13.9020.29_M .
I'm in Belo Horizonte, Minas Gerais, Brasil, and neither with a Tim or Vivo sim the
Evo 3D is getting signals in wcdma mode only. In my old T-Mobile G2, both Vivo
and Tim sim are getting the "4g" signal. According to the Gsmarena specs of the
T-Mobile G2, it has HSDPA at 1700/2100mhz. And it gets the 4g.
And all the variations of the Evo 3D have HSDPA at 2100. So it should be getting the 4g.
At the back of the box, says HSPA/WCDMA 900/AWS/2100 Mhz.
Is it a question of baseband or rom ?
Any help ?

Hi.
Just to update here.
At the testing menu *#*#4636#*#*, submenu phone information, pressing hard button menu and selecting radio band as Euro, and any other band, i don't get 3g/4g.
Even with Wcdma only and cyphering on or off.
The thing is that at my old T-mo G2 both Tim and Vivo sims get the 4g signal.

That's only because of marketing so technically you still have 4g but it should just say 3g to make sure test the speed on the g2 then test the speed on the evo.

It's not a question of speeds, here in Brasil speeds are limited by provider.
The thing is that it's not connecting on Wcdma/HSPA....
What frequency are your providers broadcasting at?

HSPA, Tim is at 850 and 2100, and Vivo on 2100.
And at a moment last night, right before i slept, i tried changing sims again, and the Evo
got connected at the HSPA network and showed the H icon. But, it haven't got the H
again yet. I did port my line from Tim to Vivo, but i don't think it's a problem as both sims
connect at the HSPA network on the G2.
Ok, so I am a little new to this because I am coming from Sprint, where I was able to choose 2g, 3G, and 4g but since I have just switched to AT&T the only options I am finding in the network settings are GSM which gives me what appears to be 2g. When I choose wcdma but that gives me 4g, and then LTE. Is there something I am missing when it comes to the network choice that will give me 3G?

4G = 3G for AT&T. AT&T (as do other carriers) consider their HSPA+ network to be "4G" when in fact really it is still 3G

Hi Guys !
I have SHV-E160S 4G LTE (Korean), and 4G is not available in our city. I want to use 3G.
Whenever I go to Mobile Data Settings and there are two options
(1) 2G & 3G
(2)4G LTE
As I have told you guys I have no 4G but 3G coverage is available. I check the first option but yet the phone keeps on running on 2G, I've heard that these korean SHV-E160s are 3G locked. One of my friend has a SHV-E160L (Also korean) and 3G works perfect on his phone.
Please tell me some way to unlock or use 3G.
P.S. My phone is rooted, using KINGOROOT App
Please help :crying::crying:
please dont ignore.. help!!!
I bought a Sprint G5 (LS992) and am using it in Canada, however I have never been able to connect to 4G LTE even though I am sure it works on my carrier's LTE network (Public Mobile, which uses Telus's network). I could still call, text and use data on 3G HSPA+ but not LTE.
I checked the Network type and strength under Mobile networks and only see 3G -65dBm.
In 4G settings under Mobile networks there are two options, one is the Network operator which I could not press into it and the other one being IP address which shows me "0.0.0.0"
Tried to enable LTE by switching the network mode to LTE/CDMA only but not even able to connect to the network (no calls no text nothing)
I am pretty sure G5 is capable of using LTE but just don't know why I am not the one using it.
Thanks for any help or suggestions!
My name is henry Iyke, am from Nigeria, since i bought my phone, blu life xl, there is no 3g and 4g network service on my phone blu life xl, I went to network settings, when i switch it to 3g and 4g network, the 2g service will cut off, so only 2g network is working on my phone blu life xl, pls i need someone to help me out of this problems, to fix 3g and 4g network on my phone, thanks.
Check your device’s IMEI numbers if it's showing up correctly. Also put a SIM card that you are sure of its 3G network and then switch to 3G mode only.
Sometimes it's from the network too.
