Over 800 alarms from com.google.android.location are observed in BBS overnight.
I know this can be solved by disabling location service, but is there a way that I can identify which apps are causing the alarms?
I have already turned off wifi/mobile data/auto sync.
Thanks:laugh:

Sent from my Desire S
Hi guys,
I am trying to improve the battery life in my Android phone (Samsung Galaxy SII, i9100, Cyanogenmod 10.1 nightly, 20130304).
I have BetterBatteryStats, and I have noticed that my top causes for Kernel wakelocks are by far "multipdp" and "secril_fd-interface".
When looking into the "Network" option to see what's triggering all those multipdp wakelocks, I consistently see the line "10030 (Mobile) Google Services" on top, with more than 1M consumed per day.
Does anyone know which Google service is that, and if so, how to disable it, or limit its wakelocks?
I have searched in the forums, but I have not found an answer.
Many thanks!
After installing BetterBatteryStats, I've gotten a better look at the wakelock draining the battery. After gathering stats for 25-30 minutes, the following wakelock is the top user:
GTALK_ASYNC_CONN_com.google.android.gsf.gtalkservice.AndroidEndpoint (Google Services)
The drain remains at about 10% per 1 hours.
How can I solved it?
HELP ME! THANK you

If you don't use talk/talkback, then you can disable them in system settings - apps or delete them from the system/app folder.

You are on stock rom right? Try to remove BetterBatteryStats and see battery. If it drain remove Gtalk app and reinstall from Google Play.
Hy.
Since some couple of days ago, SMSDispatcher wakelock is bothering me, because doesn't let my phone go into deep sleep at all.
Its a partial wakelock, but I can't figure out what is triggering it. Here are some screenshots of BBS and Wakelock detector. Have tried to block it with Wakelock Terminator with several apps, android, phone, sms app, but I don't even know what to put exactly as app or service or whatever is that you write in Wakelock Terminator.
Help me please.
I own Sony Xperia X and running the latest FW
Decided the other day to check wakelocks and alarms with BBS - worse than Android 6....
I got alarms mainly from:
1. Doze alarms from DeviceIdleController.light/deep
2. WifiConnectivityManager
3. GCM_Reconnect if mobile data is off
HeartBeat_Alarm when its on
4. EventLogServiceReceiver
Xposed for N is not available so Amplify & Unbounce don't work.
Any ideas how to limit the amount of these alarms? This is the only reason I hate Android...all these uncontrollable wake-ups that take 1-2% battery/h while idling...

With ResurrectionRemix rom there is an option to block alarms and wakelocks. However I did not find any way to get rid of the wificonnectivitymanager alarms. Any news or solutions on this?
