Battery Percent on Second Screen without persistent notification - T-Mobile LG V10 Q&A, Help & Troubleshooting

Posting a new thread, as an existing thread with this query seems dead.
I tried at least 10 apps to show the battery percent in the second screen while the Main screen is Off.
All of them add the persistent notification in the notification area. Is there an app which just adds it in status bar and hence the second screen, but not in the notification? If not, is there a way to hide the permanent ongoing notification of a selected app so that I can use any battery percent app which I tried already?

I already had a thread for this and I ended up finding the method on my own.

Toggle app without invisible icon?

Hi there,
I am currently using Widgetsoid for displaying several toggle buttons within my drop-down screen of the status bar. Now (As you can see here: http://i.imgur.com/3eiUSQg.jpeg) there is an invisible icon to the left which I can't delete. I could change it to a battery display, but I don't want that.
I also tried Notification Toggle but sadly with the same results.
So my questions is - is there a similar app w/o an invisible icon? Or do I have to use a custom ROM?
I actually like the Sony loader very much and wouldn't be pleased it I had to change to another just because of this.
Thanks in advance!

status bar clock in CM11 nightly

second silly question of the day for me
at some point in history i turned off the status bar clock just on the lock screen. well, now it annoys me and i want it back but i can't find the setting. i swear it used to be one of the clock options under status bar, "hide on lock screen" or something to that effect, but it's just gone.
even used the fancy shmancy settings search and turned up nothing. did it get moved someplace totally bizarre or possible it's an accidental loss from some framework update?

[Q] Notification bar app please

Hi,
I had recently "lost some pixels" in my Sony Xperia due to a fall - they are all located on the top of the screen.
On the one hand, nothing serious has happened and so the phone is fully functional.
EXCEPT for the top row of pixels, where (thanks to the developer tools) there is no response - It doesn't
identify me touching the screen there.
I'm looking for a simple app that simply lowers the notification bar when pressing it. That's all.
I actually found some (i.e.Open Notification Bar app)
but for some odd reason, they all require internet access.
Why would anything like that require internet access?!
Can anyone supply a simple apk that does the minute and simple action of opening the notification bar via app icon?
Thanks.

[Req] Second screen battery percentage

I was hoping someone could create an xposed mod to add battery percentage to the second screen or change the whole icon all together.

I would love to see something like this also.

Subscribed. Totally want this too. It does show the battery icon but not the percentage. Wonder if the Xposed mod that has percentage inside the icon would show up on second screen?
I agree. Anywhere the state of the battery is shown I would prefer to see a number value instead of the partially filled battery icon (I'd rather not have to see both as often is the case). This would be especially helpful on the 2nd screen.
this, would be great.....

G4 Tweaksbox (unlocked) shows battery % in status bar
They're talking about second screen, not status bar.
This is how I got battery percentage and battery temperature to show up on second screen. My phone is rooted but should work without root. Download Notification Toggle, enable both rows of toggles. Since the toggles duplicate OEM toggles I just disable the OEM toggles. This makes the OEM toggles shorter to swipe. Goto preferences and change the Status bar icon to battery percentage and 2nd Status bar icon to battery temperature. This will show the battery percentage and battery temperature in the status bar when the screen is on and show them in the second screen when the screen is off. The only downside if the added toggle rows in the drop down notification.
I tried at least 10 apps yesterday to show the battery percent in the second screen while the Main is Off.
All of them add the persistent notification in the notification area. Is there an app which just adds it in status bar and hence the second screen, but not in the notification? If not is there a way to hide the permanent ongoing notification of a selected app so that I can use any battery percent app?
bump
Good news, I found an xposed module that changes the theme and shows battery percentage on only the second screen...

More than 4 Notifications in Status Bar

Is there any way (with or without root) to increase the maximum number of notification charms shown in the status bar in Android P? So far, I've only been able to find a way to customize the clock position but not the notifications themselves. Thanks!
Yeah, I hate this change in Android Pie. With this and the lack of notification LED, it seems like Google is actively trying to destroy Android's notification system.
+1 The entire notification bar is a train wreck. Move the clock back to the right where permanent icons/info belongs, and clear space on the left for notifications, and let them breath. Probably my biggest annoyance with the phone is the whole lack of notification management. Turning off the AOD lead to missed notifications, so I have to sacrifice battery for the AOD... Then the dumbass clock and 4 icon limit is STILL causing missed notifications. If you have weather app and another notification always hanging around, you're down to 1 or 2 true notification icons?! Seriously?? Really hope Google fixes this, but I have a bad feeling this is how we have to live now... constantly pulling down the notification shade to see what was missed.

Google wont be satisfied until our devices are just as hampered as Apple's.
I don't understand the problem. I have an unread email, a few texts, a whatsapp, and an ebay auction won. I can see the text and the email and the dot. I swipe down, see the text and the email are unimportant, dismiss, and there's the whatsapp and the ebay. Sure, they aren't right there, but you don't read the email in the 1/8th of an inch of status bar, you preview in the notification shade or read in the app.
I wish I could only get 4 notifications. Since switching to the Pixel 3 XL I have one persistent notification that my Fitbit sync service is running. No WhatsApp or Gmail notifications, leading me to miss things left and right. I shut off AoD to save battery, but I don't think it worked before either.

you can hide persistent notifications now without disabling them completely. Just swipe to the left and click on the gear icon, and it will give you the option to minimize the notification. this will allow it to stay in the notification tray without displaying on the notification bar.
Got it working. Apparently my do not disturb settings were conflicting.
i have the same issue, with pie it limiting notificatiosn been shown in status bar, in Note 9 al least there is an option and you can chose to show all notifications.
With the last version of GravityBox you'll have an option to remove max notification icon restriction
