Any good Flip Cases around?

Cheers! Ive been looking for some alternatives before i accidentally do some major damage to my S3.
I used to have an otterbox defender for my S3 but the screen protecting plastic was all weird. It would distort the image and it would create bubbles under it which annoy me. I tried armorguard screen protector which worked great but the vinyl feel wasnt so great either.
Right now i just have a TPU case and i LOVE TPU covers because, unlike the silicone / rubber covers, they are so easy to just get out of your pockets and they protect the phone and the screen from falls (it has a border around the screen)
My problem lies in that i dont like regular screen protectors because being an OCD crazy **** I dont like the stress of applying a screen protector and there being the tiniest spec of dust i will notice immediately and throw the screen protector away.
long story short: Any good flip cases, not the original samsung one which is flimsy, that can protect my phone? Especially awesome if its made from TPU
I tried looking in Accessories sub forum but no luck I figure this is the best place to ask directly.
Ps: anything i can do to "fix" or cover tiny hair scratches?
Have you looked in the "accessories" sub forum?

Someone without guards?

Like the title of the topic....there is someone that is using s7 without any sort of screen protector and case? How is the durability?Tnx a lot
I have not used a screen guard since launch day, I haven't had any issues with scratching and I just keep it in my pocket.
No screen protector here either, just tpu case. After 2 weeks no visible scratches. S7 is impossible to use without case cuz its so slippery.
No screenprotector here.. no scratches. probably been 2weeks since I got this phone

I've been using a wallet case, and I originally had the glass screen protectors but they all had their problems so now I'm using mine with no screen protector. The screen looks mint, but that could be since the my case usually covers the glass when it's in my pocket.
No protector, no case... All looking fine still. Usually I do without both, most of the time that works fine (until dropping my S6 that is). The screenprotectors I used were most of the time tempered glass, they feel great to the touch and always nice just in case when selling your phone.
Been using the phone for a week, waiting for my screen protector to come in.
I can already see about 5 micro scratches on my screen. They're not visible in normal light but in direct sunlight, you can kind of see them.
The real test is if someone uses with specks of sand on their thumb how bad the micro scratches get and how bad that makes it in direct sunlight.
I'm a roofer and I use my S7 heavily throughout the day. My hands are constantly covered in dirt, sawdust, sand, tar, fiberglass and small chunks of metal. My pockets get filled with any form of foreign debris that can be found around your standard industrial construction site. I have my phone in a hybrid case but have not had a screen protector on it since day one. My screen is near mint and I have to scrub it clean easily a few times a day. Here are some photos in various conditions. My Tab S seems to not be getting the pic quality I'd like but you'll get the idea in the reflection pics. I can not find a single minor or major scratch in any light, at any angle.

Hopefully that means they've got a tougher formulation for the oleophobic coating because that was always the weak part of tempered glass.

Spigen Curved Crystal screen protector?

Hey guys,
I've tried two different glass protectors and theyve both been too narrow for the screen leaving like 1mm of unprotected screen on both sides of the phone.
Just came across this youtube video showing the Spigen Curved Crystal. I cant post links yet so just YouTube search "Spigen Galaxy S7 Crystal Curve Screen Protector Review"
The Amazon listing has alot of positive reviews but theyre mostly biased according to FakeSpot. The weird part is that the youtube review itself shows a pretty good looking screen protector that fills both sides.
Another weird thing is that on Spigen's site it costs 25$ and on Amazon its only 9$ even though its the official Spigen Amazon page.
Anyone tried it or has any info?
I desperately need screen protection thats not completely horrible.
Edit: Sorry, wrong thread.
Screen protectors are collected here: http://forum.xda-developers.com/gal...arching-screen-coverage-glass-screen-t3328181
That thread's for people who reviewed previous glasses, and since it hasnt been reported on yet, I dont think the post belongs there.
This screen protector is awesome, but not glass

I just installed mine on Monday after I was dissatisfied with the Zagg HD Dry.
The Zagg had a rubbery feel and showed little gouges/divots that supposedly would self-heal but I just didn't like it. My case is a Spigen Neo Hybrid and I was getting some bubbling near the edges.
So far, I'm liking the Curved Crystal. No issues at all with lift near the case and a nice smooth feel.
There's a very slight green tint that I notice at certain angles. My phone is black which makes it stand out more. I also installed it on my coworkers silver S7 Edge and the green tint isn't as noticeable.
It was a bit tricky to install compared to other protectors I've used since it doesn't go all the way to the top and bottom edge and has the curve on the sides. They recommend using their stickers to hold it in place on the home button while installing. If I would do it again, I'd use two stickers on either side of the home button instead.
Also, they give you two in a package which is nice.
I bought mine through Amazon.
+1 for Spigen curved crystal from Amazon.
Was totally dissatisfied with all the 2.5d glass screen protectors I tried.
While this isn't 100% coverage it offers protection from the scratches that were starting to develop from being in my back pocket (never carried with anything else. Lint/pocket debris will scratch an unprotected s7 screen).
Spigen Curved Crystal HD is the best so far. It is a film and not glass. But it covers the full screen area just not the full front of the phone. The corners, above the top sensors, and below the home button are uncovered. It does adhere to the curved edge nicely and works with my Tech 21 case fine. Glad you get two, as I did get a few fine scratches on it when putting it on (my stupidity).
i have try some ,but they are either creat narrow , or just narrower size
I also ha e installed a spigen curved crystal HD. Nice to the touch but not as nice as glass. I wasn't a fan of the top and bottom cutouts so I cut the protector so it just covers the screen portion of the phone, looks really good besides the one piece of dust and a piece of hair that got trapped under while installing. I used the wet install method, seems to be alot easier than dry install. Other than that I'm liking it so far.

Here's pics of the cut crystal HD I modified to cover just the screen portion of the phone. If I would have made the cuts a little smother it would look even better.

This is about the best screen protector you can buy for the s7. Not easy to apply but no halo effect

just got this, and it's a really nice protector. i'm just dumb and suck at putting them on lately, so of course i got some dust under it, and after like my 5th time of peeling up a corner to remove dust, one portion towards the middle of the phone won't stick to the phone anymore, so i must have slightly bent the protector or something, bc it's a small line that just looks like a bubble, as it won't go flat. but other than that, this protector is great. fits the curved edges, no bubbling around the edges like every other one, and it seems really thin. works with my tscase leather case, but i wanna try it with my spigen neo hybrid to make sure it doesn't lift up the edges. if it does with their own brand case, then thats BS lol

Works perfect with the Neo Hybrid. No lifting or creasing. Just be careful if you gear vr if you put it into fast it can push the protector. I use that and the spigen plastic case case.

I haven't tried vr yet but I tried it in the hybrid.. it works but if you like slightly squeeze the side of the case, you can see some bubbling occur, so even their own cases will slightly lift it.

Could be placement of the protector (not completely centered). I am not getting any lift on mine. I will try and post some pictures later.
could be. it's a pain to get perfect.

S9+ scratch on screen ! Buy tempered glass ?

So i bought a new S9 plus device a couple of days ago and a little bit earlier I noticed one 1 mm scratch on my display. It is hairline thin and it creates a "nice" rainbow effect when on a white background and when watching at it at a 80-100 degree angle. I hope you know what I mean. It is really really small and thin and cant really be seen on a black screen, only when directly at the sun at a weird angle. My question is: Can a tempered glass protector hide the scratch and remove the rainbow effect ? How can I get over this stupid scratch even though i babysitted this phone like hell. Can that scratch be hidden in any way.
you cannot remove the scratch unfortunately, you can only replace the screen or try to hide it by installing the whitestone dome screen protector, which is applied using LOCA glue
that tends to hide small scratches on the screen

Screen protection glass or liquid protection?

Hello im Veronica and this is my first post owing this phone and im loving it! i bought a glass protection that come is curve design but it didnt fit well bubbles of air started to appear and i took it off
Have you tried the liquid protection ? i dont know the name of the product but is a liquid you put in the screen and it makes it hard
Please help me what do you use to protect it?
I use the uv Loca glue and glue on the curved tempered glass protectors on mine
Hi veronica. I own now an s8, but my previous phone was a galaxy s7 (the flat one), in which I had a tempered glass protector. But now, with the curved display of miss s8, the tempered glass I've found are not so great. I really don't recommend the liquid protection , that supposed nano tech solution. I've seen it, and its effects are practically none. U can't tell when u you've applied or not.
As the previous post says, the better solution is to take a tempered glass and UV glue between that and the gorilla glass, and dry it in the UV lamp. That way, u get a better protection, but need to try take out the air bubbles that may get in the process before dry.
I'm sorry if my English can't be excellent, because it's not my original language.
Greetings to u.
I also would be interested in mounting a tempered glass screen protector with a liquid adhesive and then drying it with a UV lamp. The end result looks very good, but I wonder if it does affect the screen of the phone. In case that I would like to remove the foil or replace it ... I do not know if the adhesive is "peaceful", if it leaves residual traces or I risk of having to change the touchscreen at the same time with the glass: D
I'd like to buy this: https://bit.ly/2SSQMZT (Aliexpress).
To be honest, the Spigen NeoFlex is the absolute best option in my opinion. I normally do not like these "Self-Healing" type but, it has been amazing, stays on all corners and I can continue to use my very light but very protective Spigen case as well. I normally do not like cases but the one I use is okay, especially since I have already shattered the front and rear of the phone once. Don't want to do it again.
I second this...

I've tried about 6 different tempered glass protectors, and all have either made it very difficult to pull down the top menu, or have gotten dust/lint behind the screen. Went to the Spigen NeoFlex 'film' and never looked back. In fact, I just ordered another set of them because I got polyurethane fingerprints on the screen while doing a wood railing. I had zero problems, it doesn't affect touch sensitivity. I will say that getting the sides to stay took a few minutes of work, but once stuck, it has stayed that way for 8 months so far. I paired it with a Spigen LiquidArmor case. I've dropped the phone onto my ceramic floors several times already and had no damage to the phone. I use wireless charging with no problems.
