[Q] My SGY autorestart

I cant use my samsung galaxy y because it auto restarts. I dont know if it really restarts because everytime i turn it on it just boot on its loading screen of "Samsung Galaxy Young........". I tried to turn it on by pressing home, lock, volume up buttons, it showed but after that it then auto restart again. But i noticed at the second that it turns off automatically after 4-8 secs when i turn it on. Whats the problem? software or hardware?

2. my phone is rooted. i think rooting is not the problem because i rooted it 5-6 mos ago.
3. no custom roms intalled, just games and simple apps.

Is Freeze, i reboot the phone with power + Vulmen up, but y have bootlop, and i can't start in DFU MODE, HELP!!
Same Problem
Same here I was also installing the same AROMA ROM but for Sola. And I keep flashing the rom because It doenst install Gtalk. I tried formatting the system in CWM then tried to flush it again but it bootloops. Now I tried flashing the Stock Firmware but it doesn't continue up to 18% only then stopped, hangged. I dont know what to do. Please some can help.
I have mor or less same problem
I have a Xperia U and triying to port JB to it I briked two or three times.
I hold power botom and it vibrate and doesnt happen anything ok.?¿
The possible solution could be this(for my works)
Charge the phone like 1 hour for my doesnt charge with the animation but its for security.
With the nest steps you are going to lose all CWM and tweaks and apks but personal data still there.
You have two options:
Flash a new rom with flashtool, but when you pluged with volum - you hold it for allmost all process becose for my i conect to PC and its goes quikly so i cant do annything.
If the phone is not recognised by Flashtool:
You have to repair it with PC Companion or Bridge for Mac, and also the same hold volum - almost all process.
For my it works, tell my if for you works:cyclops::cyclops::cyclops:

[Q] Problem rebooting 'e:error in /data/log/recovery_log.txt '

Hi guys,
little bit of background on the phone, had it since new close to 2 years away (2 year contract and im 7weeks from an upgrade) the phone is on orange (well EE now)
Basically when I turn my phone on it is stuck in a force close loop, with loads of different messages appearing, such as;
(process com.sec.android.provider.logsprovider)
calenders, messaging etc etc
So I have tried going into the boot mode, by pressing volume up, home screen and the power button.
Then when I try to reboot it comes up with the error messages;
e:error in /data/log/recovery_log.txt (read-only file system)
(read-only file system)
e:copy_kernel_file :: Can't Open /data/log/recovery_kernel_log.txt
Rebooting...
It then just continues onto the normal home screen, then when I enter my swipe code it comes up with the force close loop again.
Any solutions to this problem, Or will I have to factory restore, or is completly broken? Im not due an upgrade for about 7weeks either
Would rather not have to factory restore if possible as I have some files on there I dont want to loose, but if its unhelpable so be it
Thanks in advance guys!
Cheeky little bump, Anyone know a fix to this?
Have similar problem...
I believe a factory reset will fix it...sorry to hear you losing files though..
I have a similar problem. I should probably make a new thread for this though...
Background: Samsung Galaxy SII 1900 bought October 2011. Yesterday flashed a stock ROM for the phone and everything was working perfectly. This is probably not related but have been trying to install a working version of Android Keyboard which has gesture typing working for other languages than English, German, Spanish and French and so some hours before this happened I tried to flash a zip with that but it turned up "e: signature verification failed" so I pretty much gave it up and the phone was still working. Then I decided to install another recovery mode on the phone cause that should allow me to install without verification. So I downloaded the one for SGS2 at clockworkmod com rommanager and put it in on the SD card. Then I shut down the phone and this is the weird part: First I accidentally pressed the power button first so I realised the phone was gonna boot normall so I pressed the power button again to force shut it down. I pressed for quite a long time and then it just restarted and I'm at a boot loop where it says Samsung Galaxy S II with white text on black background.... Then suddenly after removing the battery and trying start several times it booted normally. So I just continued where I left off going to make a backup in Titanium Backup before flashing CWM and suddenly the phone just restarted and I got into the boot loop again. I am able to enter Download mode and Recovery mode but the phone no longer starts. Been trying like 30 times to restart it... Now when I entered Recovery mode just now I got the error message
"E:Error in /data/recovery_kernel_log.txt(Read-only file system)" in red letters... and that's where I'm at now.
Here's a sitty picture of it from my HP Chromebook webcam ******* (Google Drive) Edit: Not allowed to post links in first 10 posts

[Q] recovery mode does not appear

Hi guys!
i really need some help..been dealing with this for 1 month now..anyway tablet info first,
-Cherry Mobile Fusion Bolt (Philippines)
-Jellybean 4.1.1
-not rooted (they said it was pre-rooted, i was gonna root but then problem happened)
last few weeks, apps just randomly crashes and some system processes stopped..so i tried hard reset (no choice)..
after that, everytime i turn it off and on again, i need to do the hard reset because i am always stuck in boot loop..
now i tried to turn it on again (doing hard reset) but the "recovery" no longer appears..its just a flash of light then goes black and so on and nothing happens..tried different key combinations - nothing......plugged to a pc - detects the driver..
please, what can i do?
i really appreciate any help thanks in advance

USB disconnected while updating and now phone won't start

While updating My Xperia Z1 , my pc hanged during the process ( so , installation of update was interrupted , guess it's same as getting your USB connection disconnected )and now the phone won't turn on .
Its shows the Sony Xperia logo , then shows a black lit screen , and that's it , nothing else happens . I can only turn it off by pressing and holding the power+up volume button , but it turns on automatically if plugged in for charging or in PC only till it gets that black screen .
I tried to flash it with a flashtool (Emma) , but it says phone locked , but since it can't even be turned on , i can't unlock it .
It's a store bought phone and is not of any contracts with any mobile service provider or anything like that ....
Funny you know ... my PC had to crash at the moment i was updating it .... my luck ....
Anyways , now please can anyone tell me what i can do ? I'm sure there is a way i can fix it using my pc and other downloadable software , so please can some one help me how i can fix this problem ? I don't care if i lose all the data on it , i just want my phone back ....

Most likely, the system partition is corrupt due to the update being interrupted unexpectedly. The data partition is probably still intact as long as you don't wipe it.
I'm not familiar with your device, but I would suggest checking if you can boot into fastboot mode and attempt to flash a stock image for your phone. It's possible that the update you downloaded can be extracted, allowing you to flash the system image from the update directly to your phone (e.g. fastboot flash system system.img). Good luck.
