Hi All,
Since last week i am seeing a java error message as soon as phone rings (It appears over the slider). I can not pick the call. I have to wait till it disappears from the screen, so that i can move the slider to receive the call (It disappears after 4-5 seconds). The error message reads:
Java.Lang.NoSuchMethodException: GetITelephony[]
I have googled for a solution, but no luck so far. If any one know what could be causing this error, and how i can fix it, will be of great help.
Additional info: I have rooted this phone as i bought it from China. It had bloating apps which i removed and installed google apps (which were not available in the phone).
Thanks.
hi everyone,
I recently upgraded to 4.3 and finding it very annoying about two notifications as explained below.
Whenever I disable the flight mode or mobile data, a message keeps popping up which is very annoying on my day to day activities.
Please refer to attached screen shots.
Why don't they have a tick box to say something like "Do not show again" or so ....
is there any solution to get rid of this?
Thanks and cheers to all ....
Couldn't agree more! I can't stand this! Why isn't there a "do not show again" message. They seriously think we are stupid or that we're going to go crying to tech support when we can't make calls because airplane mode is active.
Has anyone found a solution for this on 4.3?
I have never had any popup dialog box when toggling the Mobile Data button.
However ever since 4.2 which I have been using for the last 6 months the Flight Mode popup dialog box comes up every single time you toggle it on or off which is the most annoying thing about Android I have ever experienced. (since I use Flight mode several times daily).
I'm guessing the suggestion of having "Do Not Show Again" would be more suitably aimed at either Samsung or Google (Android)?, and I seriously doubt that those guys will change/fix it.
So is there anyone here in XDA land that could provide a fix/mod/hack for this issue please?
I also had the same popup msg problem when turning up the volume (on 4.2) which was annoying as all hell! -But I haven't seen it again since 4.3 though I'm not sure if that was from the JB update, or if it was a part of Omega ROM's old Loud Volume hack which seems to be no longer available since 4.3
Anyway thanks in advance for anyone's help to permanently disable popup msgs.
Cheers

just saw your other post.. and I'm curious as to if it is "custom", I am guessing it should rooted? Did you try downloading super user or busy box to see if it says "you have to be rooted"?
Hi guys,
I am having a very frustrating problem with my S3. I had the google.process.gapps stopping randomly for a few days, but that wasn't more than an annoyance. Last night, my battery run out and when I plugged my S3 it in and turned it on, all hell broke loose. Starting with the lock screen I have been getting non-stop "Unfortunately X has stopped" with X being anything from LogsProvider, NfcService, ContextProvider, SysScope and the already mentioned google.process.gapps. As long as I stay on the lock screen I can click these away...eventually. If I try to go into Settings or in the normal screen I get another batch of those messages, but this time the SysScope one, just keeps coming and coming and coming, so that I can't do absolutely anything. I have tried the same in Safe Mode but there wasn't any change.
Please tell me there is something I can do, other than a factory wipe.

Do a factory wipe.
As above, try a wipe first -but letting your battery run out can corrupt a partition. You may need to reflash your firmware.

Hey guys,
yesterday i started a 24 hour session to root my LG G5 SE (H840). So far so good, all things went fine (at the end...) but one thing is freaking me out. There is a little icon in the title bar showing for about 1 second and then it's gone for about 15-20 seconds, after that it is back again for 1 second and so on....
Apps i thought that could make this funny game i already blocked in the notification settings, but nothing helped until now. I also force stopped some updater i thought they could make this happen....some result. Of course i rebooted my device to get rid of this.....same result.
It's just a little thing but enough to annoy me..
Pls help, thx a lot
As a last hope i already tried this one:
You may be able to just uncheck the update box under Settings > About Phone > Update Center
Click to collapse
Edit: It seem that it might could be a bug. Because i disabled all notifications for updates, the icon was still there, and gone, and there, and gone like i said before. BUT i then opened Google Play Store, went to settings and just checked my settings. I think it was enough that i only opened the settings, because the icon is no hidden...permanently.
