Does anyone know if the custom roms for the TF300T (for example KatKiss 6.01) support the official audio dock of asus Bang & Olufsen?
I would like to upgrade to a more recent version because the stock rom is getting sluggish, but I can only find support for the keyboard dock, not this audio dock.

Go ahead dear friend! This ROM is developed by Timduru on the basis of Android 6.0 especially for TF300T. The Bang & Olufsen dock is developed especially for ASUS Transformer Tablets. So both should work together.
To my mind it's worth to install KatKiss 6.0.1 in order to figure out if it works in the reality. I think it will! If not, with that ROM you will have a TF300T with a new life. A short report is greatly appreciated.

I'm looking to purchase a tablet. I want to run emulators, read books, listen to music. It also needs to be able to support sixaxis or usb api host. What would you recommend to purchase?

For a good choice is Asus Transforme Prime, but it is a shame that the internal gps doesn't work without the new attachment.

I have the original transformer TF101, it can do all of that easily. emulates most n64/other games well, sixaxis and wiimote both work flawlessly. HDMI output to play/watch stuff on TV.
just in case you wanted a cheaper option, i heard it's cheap now. i would still recommend the prime if you don't mind paying.

Ive seen the lists of all the best accessories, and seen the reviews of bluetooth keyboards. I want to know what is the best keyboard thats compatible with the prime. Also a case that would accomidate the keyboard as well.
I'd say, you know, the official keyboard/dock.

The Official dock is the best option all around. Why carry around a second bluetooth keyboard which is just a hassle when you can use the dock which has the benefit of extra battery life and expanded memory with a standard sd card.
And a built in USB port.

Transformer Pad TF300 buyers may have had to compromise on screen resolution, but the little slab's software support is second to none -- ASUS just announced that its entry level Transformer Pad will be its first to taste Android 4.2.2. Customers in the United States can grab the Jelly Bean update over the air starting today, while international users will see regional rollouts throughout the month. Own one of the company's higher end slates? Sit tight, ASUS says Android 4.2 should roll out to the Transformer Pad Infinity and other devices in Q2 2013. A wait for the virtuous, to be sure.

Does it mean TF201 is no longer receive 4.2? I mean chances is slim.

Sound off your disdain!
God Damn can you people just wait and see. Just because we are not top dog in the Asus lineup anymore doesn't mean they won't get 4.2 to us. Just give it some time and if it doesn't come our way start complaining. Anyway I would think the great DEV's here would be able to port 4.2 to the Prime soon after it's release to the Infinity.

No.. it just means that the TF300 hardware is very similar to Nexus 7, so is natural that TF300 is the first to have the new versions of Android ready for production.
Hi,
I am testing my Android apps on a Asus Memo Pad HD7 with 4.2.2 on it. The tablet came with 4.2 but Asus have gradually upgraded it to 4.2.2.
I want to upgrade my tablet to 4.4 but I will have to do it myself as Asus are clearly not going to make that upgrade. I have looked for web sites but so far, none have offered a full end to end explanation. Also, every article seems to have reader comments on it like "did not work for me, now my device won't start" which does not give me confidence.
There is no data on the tablet but I would like a working tablet at the end of it, even if I go back to 4.2.2.
Can anyone explain how I move from a working Memo Pad HD7 4.2.2 to a working Memo Pad HD7 4.4?
thanks
Jason
Hello Everyone,
Does anyone know if it's possible to get a working version of Android Go on our Prime? I'm curious if it would work and if so how well. I imagine it would work well due to the small amount of memory this tablet had compared to devices now. Thanks.
I also want to do this, but I think the community for TF201 is very small and people have moved on to newer hardware. I will not hold my breath for someone to have a ROM with Android Go for the Transformer Prime.
