NFC settings - Elephone P9000 Questions & Answers

Hi,
I got my P9000 yesterday and flashed the OTA 20160531 over the flashing toolkit. After that NFC settings are there. Later I flashed the OTA 20160608 as flashable zip and the NFC settings are still there. Today I saw that the NFC settings are gone. Does anyone know about this issue or has a fix for it? Using the stock rom.
Thanks for you help

Hi, i habe exactly the same problem. Updating to build 150715 hasnt helped. Any ideas what to do to make NFC appear back again?

I had the same issue when updating my rom. After some days I rebooted the device and suddenly the NFC settings where back. I have no Idea if the reboot helped or anything else.
If you really need NFC you can also try flashing a custom rom such as Eragon V3 (my recommendation) or Aerom V5.

[Q] No WiFi after flashing Rick S's MIUI 1.11.25

any ideas as what got borked or any restore options or quick fixes I can do to remedy this situation?
TIA
I just updated my phone to 1.11.25 from Rick S and my Wi Fi is working fine. Did you do a full wipe? (Data/Cache/Dalvik?) I do this every time I flash a new version and haven't had any problems.

What exactly isnt working? I had a similar issue after flashing CM7 once when the WIFI said "Error" everytime I tried to connect.
The issue was fixed by Odin'ing back to stock and re flashing the rom. Since MIUI is CM7 based, this fix may work for you.
Hope this helps!

NFC on deodexed stock 5.0.2

Hi all
I've succesfully deodexed my stock rooted 5.0.2 (AOE3) system on my s6-g925f with the help of ultimatewaffel, _alexandr and svadev's deodexing tool
SO I'm up and running with everything working after fixes and patches of ultimatewaffel
Only issue left is NFC, which if I use the toggle stays semi-yellow and of course nothing is activated
Also if I go throught the settings menu, every option is greyed-out and disabled
If it's a matter of kernel, that is stock, then it's ok I won't do anything, but if it's something else....
Please don't start to tell me to update to 5.1.1 because I use sammy smart view app to stream my tv's contecnt on my phone display and this is not working on 5.1.1 which needs a non-stock kernel to be rooted!! Also I have my knox intact and I've already made so many changes, so please help if you can on the NFC issue!
Thank you all
EDIT: SOLVED with help of ultimatewaffle.!!!!!
Thanks

After Update to 4.1.2 can't switch WIFI on :(

Hey Guys
Since many apps don't support GB I was forced to do update.
After flashing with original JB 4.1.2 everything seems to be ok, but there is no way to turn wifi on.
WIFI icon on bar is half-highlighted, tapping on it gets no results......Wifi tethering not working also
Cache and Full Wipe was done, there was suggestion to flash with "siyah kernel" - also not working.
It seems that problem is related to fault ROM file because on ICS and GB wifi works fine......
Any tips? suggestions?
i9100 without wifi is useless :crying:

Did you flash the correct JB update? Maybe try a different STOCK JB rom from a different region.
Or directly try to install a custom ROM, for example CyanogenMod.

NFC won't switch on

Hey everyone, so my NFC used to work fine all the time, but I think it was since I have rooted my phone and upgraded to MM it will no longer activate. I switch it on in the settings menu or through the quick settings tile but it switches straight back off, and the NFC tests fail.
I'm thinking it might be a firmware problem or some problem from flashing, but I have terrible Internet at the moment and was hoping somebody might have an idea how to fix it without factory resetting etc..
I initially gained root on lollipop and created my own pre-rooted zip to update to MM, but I did have to use the bootloop fix. I have just upgraded again from 575 to 291 with my own pre-rooted zip hoping that might fix it, but same problem and I had to use bootloop fix again.. Any ideas what I might be able to do to fix it? thanks in advance!

Flashlight (TORCH) disabled

Hello everyone,
I'm experiencing a weird issue with a new F1: the camera flashlight icon is disabled and can't be activated.
Once out of the box, with stock ROM, it was initially working. Restoring the backup of my old F1 (LineageOS 16.0), I think that accidentally I should have restored/wiped something wrong.
After that I restored the stock ROM (beryllium_global_images_V12.0.3.0.QEJMIXM_20201227.0000.00_10.0_global) to fix it, but the flashlight works only if used in CIT mode, it doesn't in any another app.
Which could be the root cause? Wrong firmware?
Thanks in advance

I would flash stock firmware and factory reset the device. Hopefully this will fix your issue.
Then you should be careful with flashing the custom rom you prefer ... maybe restoring the backup of your old devices is not the best idea.

I usually install LineageOS on every phone before to do everything else. We have three Poco F1, and I had no issue with the other two, only for this I think I did a mistake somewhere.
I already did a factory reset, restoring full stock ROM too. I suspect to have accidentally damaged another partition (i.e. persist).
Any other hint?
