Yup, it would have to be the genuine up and coming x10 Pro:
All reputable companies, esp. Sony release their latest products on Deal Extreme, rather than through their existing sales channels
In a clever marketing move, Sony have renamed the x10 Pro to "Portable Media Player" to catch the iPhone wave from the start of the decade
Phones with TV ariels are so hip right now
Deal Extreme never sells copies of anything

In fact, before buying my X10, I was thinking about getting some fake smartphone or PDA with wifi, because they're cheap. Friend of mine got some iPhone clone (it says Phone on the back cover lol) and for it's price, it's working pretty great! But I got some extra money, found a site where I could get X10 cheaper than everywhere else (in Lithuania) and now I'm really happy X10 user
I kinda want one of those... it'd be kinda funny to use, what are they, like $50?

The only problem with these clones is, they don't last very long, sometimes one or two months only. You'll be very lucky, if it last a year...
hmm i bet the incall volume is much louder and the standby time is better too
price is 400RMB (negotiable with the seller at the store). those ppl who manufacture these cloned phone got those material smuggled out from the factory like foxconn..... and make it from the small factory.....
You can say the quality is the same as the real one...but just you couldnt believe that they "mix and match" it...
i got a iphone clone for 180 rmb (negotiable from 480 rmb), dual sim. I called it cOS because it has the same iphone interface, funcationality....and google apps. and guess what...it picked up both T-mobile USA and AT&T 3G network!!!!

Unfortunately it is impossible without messy hardware modifications.
Sony used to use a headphone plug standard almost nobody used. Special headsets made by Sony would work, but the most popular ones (like iPhone headsets) wouldn't.
With the Xperia S and the other 2012 phones they reversed their decision and switched to the more popular standard. The good thing is you can use all iPhone-things with the Xperia S. Bad news is that older Sony Ericsson headsets don't work anymore.
All regular headphones/earbuds (without any buttons) will work fine however.
You can use the EC250 adapter to use the LiveSound with your Xperia S.

There are several versions and brands of this unit on the market. I've seen it under the name Yeamax, Advanz and Pixen.
Unfortunately the unit has the same crippled Android found on the OUKU unit, which is a shame because the potential is there. Maybe we can get some of the experts on here to get a vastly improved build for one of these units.
I have the latest S/W update on SD-card, but have no idea how to work with it. It is non-standard in 4 separate files with names such as "image_kernelfs, image_rootfs, etc.).
So, the first step would be to get Root on the unit. Anyone want to support this?

Hi, guys. I just got Iconbit Toucan Stick 3d Pro, and its pretty great except that it doesnt supprot my logitech k400 keyboard w/touchpad. It uses a logitech unifying reciever, which is detected in system as usb device, but not used as a hid one. It is supported on another android media player of this brand - iconbit nano 4k - works flawless.
So, I have two questons:
1) Is there a way to solve this problem?
2) Is this device is just branded chinese stick, so i can find compatible newer firmware? Im not even asking about cyanogen)
Iconbit Toucan Stick 3d Pr uses Allwinner A20 cpu.
