I have been facing some bugs that keeps bugging me since after this February lately. The bug is that the volume panel turn to screencast volume panel when I was not screen casting. It usually happens when playing game and listening to music. I post a screenshot just to verified it. I hope you devs & experts help me with this..

Hello,
I flashed JT's CM7 (Test build 7) yesterday, and I absolutely love it.
However, I have a problem involving In-call volume.
If I press the up and down volume buttons to adjust in-call volume, the volume stays the same although the graphic indicator bar moves.
For all the other volume settings (like media volume, alarm volume, etc) seem to be OK.
Am I the only one who's experiencing this problem? =(
Can anybody please help me to fix this issue?

Yes, everyone is having that problem. It is a problem with the libaudio driver. It was a hacked driver from the nexus s that was hacked even more on top of that just to get it to the level of functionality that it has now. When jt has some time, I'm sure he will rewrite libaudio and the volume issue will be improved.
So i don't know if it's a software issue because of the new phone but my volume adjustments are very erratic, especially my voice call volume, every time i go on the phone it's at full blast and there's no setting to adjust it! also, there's no separate adjustment for the notifications! also pissed to see they grouped the nav with media sounds. when i downloaded an audio manager, the system volume and voice volume especially ****ed up constantly, but everything else was all over the place too, can anyone help me figure this out??
p.s. does anyone know of or is working on an external speaker enhancment?

I am facing an annoying issue with Volume control at Resurrection Remix 3.1.0. (maybe at all AOKP builds). The volume slider does only take somewhere 7 steps (the half of the slider) to reach max volume. Slider will walk forward, but volume will not raise anymore. the volume reached by this half way is loud enough, the problem is, that lowest Volume ist still to loud and the granularity at all is very poor, does not find adequate volume level while listen musik, always need to play around 2 levels. Read somewhere that this could maybe fixed while changing framework to add more steps, but have no clue how to do.
I am the only one noticed this annoying issue?
Any ideas how to solve?

I'm facing with the same problem too in CyanogenMod, but it seems to fix itself when I'm listening to music through Poweramp.

thanks that fixed the music issue. Think poweramp will replace the for long time used mixzing player, if I am not able to find a usable player for free.
Volume issue still remains with Video player BSPlayer. any alternative for this?
I would really apreciate to find a solution to change the granularity in the settings or patch it myself to be able to choose what ever player I wnt to..

Fix low earpiece volume during calls the easy way. Been looking for a fix and there was nothing, then I started flashing all sorts of sound mods and although they did improve the speakers for sound and music and speakerphone, the sound ftom the earpiece was still too low sometimes even in quiet room (during calls with people with bad microphones).
Finally a there was an easy fix, download an app from the play store called "Volume Controll". It will present you with more elaborate volume controls than the default built in sonys controls. Here just bump your in call volume to 80% and voila, you'll get louder in call earpiece volume without flashing media profiles xml or similar hack. You can also controll the loudnes while in call with volume keys.
Posted just because I found nothing about this and this is an essential smartphone function, almost exchanged my phone for an LG G3 cause of this single issue.

Here it is, I believe other similar apps can do this. When prompted to upgrade after trial is over just tap outside the dialog box and continur using as normal. I turned off all notifications to hide profile switcher.
My mom has Andorid LG phone with the volume buttons on the back. I'm not sure if those buttons are causing problems but 90% of the time she has issues with volume being turned all the way down. That causes a problem because those moments nobody cann call her as she does not hear the ring. I wonder if there is any hack or App to lock the volume at max level and disable physical buttons (and screen slider if possible).
