i hope someone can help: i was just flashing a new rom update, when in had a reset/reboot during the copy-process (so not planed or so). since then all is ****ed up.
twrp shows starting image, nothing more -> reboot loop
flashed kernel again -> reboot loop
flashed twrp again -> reboot loop
only bootloader is working.
please help
thanks a lot
call fastboot erase cache
did it
wipe and flash Rom from TWRP again
thanks for your answer. did it. the cache wipe solved the issue that twrp didn't load. so no twrp, no recovery/install
Hi,
Last night my I9300 decided to randomly reboot and get stuck in a bootloop. This morning I took the time to wipe my cache, data, etc. through CWM but it still would not boot. I did a wipe data/factory reset, wiped cache again and installed the latest AOKP nightly, but it still will not boot.
I can start the bootloader through CWM and I can also get into download mode, but it just won't boot Android.
ADB does list my device while in the bootloop, but I get a "device unauthorized" message.
I've had bootloops before and wiping cache/data/factory reset/installing a new rom always worked, but in this case I am clueless.
What can I do? Is there maybe a way to connect logcat without unauthorizing, or authorizing from CWM, or something?
Do you have the newest CWM?? Or try any other custom recovery
As above, use the latest recovery then manually format system, data, cache preload and data/media/0

How can I do this if I cannot authorize a ADB connection?
If yours recovery works flash the newest version
If not flash a stock ROM via Odin
dalvik cache

On Cwm click advance and try wiping dalvik cache if that doesn't work install your stock rom
Hey there I installed xenon HD ROM on my honor 5x(kiwi) after that my phone stuck on bootloop. tried erasing dalvik/ART cache(TWRP Recovery) but that doen't help! Listing the steps followed
Placed ROM nd Gapps in SD card
Wipe System
install Zip Files
erase dalvik/ART cache(TWRP)
Reboot
Phone is stuck into a bootloop
Rebooted into recovery
(tried formatting once-and many times without)
erased dalvik/ART cache
erased cache
reboot
phone is still stuck in bootloop
PLease help, this has happened me for the second time(I've tried installing CM14{before its shutdown} without any luck and the same problem)
So I'm trying to clean flash a ROM and I want to wipe Cache, Dalvik, System and Data, but TWRP reboots every time and doesn't finish the wipe. And nothing gets wiped.
I tried only a cache + dalvik, but nada. Instant reboot to my home screen.
Tried TWRP 3.0.2.1 and 3.1.0.0 both, same issue.
Ideas?
Solved it. Went back to the May update via fastboot & rerooted + TWRP (latest). Done and dusted.
Mods may close this thread.
Same problem here. Any solution aside from flashing factory image?
Hey.
I flashed TWRP for the Samsung G360T1 (Galaxy Core Prime) a few hours ago and when rebooting into the system, it just boots back into the recovery.
After reading some articles, I decided to wipe and installthis ROM (Monstro's Rom v3).
That didn't work so I wiped Dalvik and Cache. Still no success.
I'm using ShinySide's TWRP recovery.
