phil.you might not know this but i just want to ask if rooting is just simmilarwith all device as long as iam running android 2.3.tnx guys.
A very generic way of rooting android phone is to get temporary root access using some kernel hacks which should work on most phones. For android 2.3 can try apps like visionary or bin4ary for this.
Once you have temporary root access, remount the system folder (depends on your phone) and push the superuser binary and apk to your phone system partition. Next reboot should provide you root access on your phone.
Hello there,
i hope i'm in the right Forum with my question.
i Have two Devices there i want to become root Access.
First is the Chinese Star S9300 (MTK6577) with Android 4.1.1
And second the Tablet GD Ippo AK10
For even Devices, there exist a custom rom or a exact manual how to root, there i have tested some one Click Root Method.
On Root_with_Restore_by Bin4ry i become everytime the Message Permission denied (are you root??).
Now my Question: How could i cancel the permission control to complete the Root or what way could i go to root the Devices.
Otherwise, i have read in many Forums that the Star S9300 often are rooted, but my isn't, rootchecker says me that it isn't rooted and SuperUser and Busybox could become Root Access.
I thanks alot for Help, i realy must rooted the device, to Install Apps that i need for Work.
With big greetz
Andy

I rooted my Micromax Bolt q324with kingoroot pc software successfully but after a few days i cant able to get root access for some apps like when i install a new root app it asks me for permission then i tap grant but the app shows unable to gain root access. how to fix this issue i tried flashing my phone with stock ROM then again rooting it with kingoroot but again no luck i was unable to gain root access for some apps but when i check root access with root checker it says root access properly installed and i can go to terminal with root access but when i try to mount system as rw it shows ''Mount: operation not permiited" how to fix this issue!!!
And yes the phone is a spreadtrum sc7731 chipset device so the rom file is in .pac format but i figured that how to flash it.So i am willing to install a Custom ROM if you provide me the link of it.......

I would try this. Kingoroot and Kingroot both have their own superuser app that doesn't always work that well.

Accessing Android's system files requires Android is rooted. Point.
