Are you using the Original Adapter & Cable ?
Are you using a custom kernel ?
Did you do any modifications to the kernel ?
Are you sure your power supply is not faulty ?

Try reverting that multicore thingy and see if its fixed, if yes then report to Martin about the issue, if not then try clean flashing the ROM again and if it still persists, then again, file a report with Martin about a potential bug/issue. Im not well versed with kernel stuff, so there could still be a fix for it that i dont know about.

I had a same issue and i reported it to service center and they have changed the USB socket in my OnePlus X.
Its a hardware issue, when you connect AC Charger Adapter still it shows charging over USB.

It seem like kernel is patched to get max current upto 500mah.
Try changing the kernel, and before that i would recommend you to use another charger and check the same.

Don't forget to post you result after doing above steps.
In kernel there are configuration available to control the charging power, that's why i asked you to change the kernel once and check.
Reverted back to previous rom... It's fine now
So I don't think there is problem with the charger

...you forgot to apply the wireless charging patch when you did s-off- didn't you!

What's the wireless charging patch?
OP, that happens with clockworkmod. If you use twrp, you can charge your phone with it off.

I just turned my phone off (not the first time since I acquired S-off) and my phone refused to turn on. I had to do a battery pull in order to get it to boot.
My SD card also corrupted itself (16GB Class 10) inside of my phone last night. I lost some important pictures that I cannot replace.
I wonder if these occurrences aren't caused by whatever method Revolutionary uses to acquire s-off. I never had a hint of any problems before I used it.

Do you use Siyah kernel? This is a known bug on the latest version, the battery charge normally but the charging animation is broken.
Yeah I am using that kernel, no fix for it at the moment then?

I believe the new version, 1.5.1, fixes this. But notice that this is only a display issue: the battery is charging normally, just the animation that doesn't work.

If you flash the ButteredToast or Anthrax kernel and use Kernel Tuner or IncrediControl to activate it, fastcharge should work.

Hi all!
I use Galaxy Charging Current Pro to monitor my I9300 battery charging. When I plug it to the AC (wall socket), this app shows my phone charging performances as bellow. Is it a normal? If I use Sony's charger, there's no considerable change.
Maximum: 500
Now: 999
Avg: 500
Sometime maximum level goes to 280, 300 levels.
If it's an abnormal, what should I do?

Just look at the charger's output current: if it matches the "Now" current, then your phone is charging just fine.
Stock charger for S3 is 1000mA, and through a PC's USB is 500mA IIRC.

As the App developer himself says, he doesn't know what the other 2 values are. It's only "now" that matters.

Anyone else having this problem? I can connect and troll around on wifi as usual, but besides getting the phantom access point "NVRAM WARNING: Err = 0x10", I'm having a problem similar to the one on this thread, where the MAC would start at 00:08:22: but ends with a random value.
Tried editing WIFI in \data\nvram\APCFG\APRDEB but regardless of what address I use I still end up with the same problem.

Sorry for the overdue reply, but you might want to try this trick: http://forum.gsmhosting.com/vbb/10854420-post2.html
That one pretty much saved my skin when I ended up losing my phone's IMEI (and consequently RIL functionality) upon flashing a custom ROM.
