Hello guys. I unlocked the bootloader via adb (fastboot oem unlock) and flashed the cyanogenmod Recovery and after that i flashed Cyanogemod 13 (the official nightly).
Then I relocked the bootloader (fastboot oem lock)
Until here everything is fine. The problem is: After that I use my phone with CM13 normally, but I wanted to go back to stock, so I turn on developer options then i turned on the OEM unlocking thing, and usb debuging. And when i entered in fastboot mode to unlock the bootloader again i wrote via adb fastboot oem unlock the phone rebbot and now i am stucked on cyanogenmode recovery with the bootloader locked.
Another thing: if i flash the cyanogen 13 again the phone will allways reboot to recovery.

Never lock bootloader unless you are on stock ROM (oos). Now you need to unlock bootloader. For that you need stock ROM and stock recovery. Are you able to boot to any ROM,cm 13?
@ateresabelo maybe you have to flash stock Rom. Hopefully then it will allow you to unlock bootloader. Best of luck mate.

Thanks for the reply.
I can flash CM 13 ROM with cyanogenmod Recovery, but when the flash finish, when I reboot, the phone boot into recovery mode, and not boot into the ROM. So it flash the ROM without errors but boot into the Recovery again.

Flash stock ROM. Download it from oneplus website. And use TWRP recovery instead. Cwm is kind of obsolete and i m not sure if it works perfectly.

The thing is the recovery that i have is not CWM is the cyanogenmod Recovery (with oem locked). I only can boot into CM 13 ROM if i go to the fastboot mode and then type: fastboot continue. If I do that I can use the phone with CM 13.
But when I reboot my phone from the ROM it come back to the cyanogen Recovery and not boot to the CM 13 ROM. And I have to repeat the process: Go to fastboot and type fastboot continue in order to boot on my ROM.
So is any way to unlock the bootloader, like fastboot oem unlock (with the cyanogenmod Recovery instaled) in order to flash the OPX stock recovery or the TWRP recovery?

Ok, do one thing. Download flashify app and flash stock oxygen recovery through it. Remember this is an app. After that when you go to recovery, you should have stock oxygen recover. Flash oxygen os after that from stock recover. Try and let me know.

Just another question: for that task (flash the OPX stock recovery do I need root access?) I am asking this because I do not have the SUperSu installed. So maybe I need to use the cyanogenmod Recovery to flash the SuperSU and hope it works and then use flashify, right?

Thanks a lot. So, I am ready to do that. I have the stock Recovery for the OPX from OnePlus website and now I am ready to flash it via Flashify.
Just the last question, If I flash the stock recovery with the bootloader locked, does it will hardbrick or softbrick my phone? I just ask that, not because I dont trust you, because I trust, but because I read that is not a good ideia flash recoverys or roms with the bootloader locked.
Thanks again in advance, mate.

It worked, mate! Thanks a lot. Now I have the Stock OPX Recovery and the OxygenOS. Amazing! SO I can assume that I can now securly unlock the bootloader, flash TWRP and NEVER relock the bootloader again, right? (Unless if I have the stock Recovery and the stock ROM.)
Thanks a lot, again!!!

Just look at ROM section and decide, Its raining ROMs for oneplus x. ROMs( like zephyr, orion, ownROM etc) compiled with UBER toolchain are smoother, so you may wanna try them to get awed.

Ok, I need some help. I've installed Androwork (Hairybean 4.2.1 Bootloader & Recovery.zip). Now I can't install cyanogenmod. Also I can't access fastboot. I have Recovery, android and wipe data. My question is how do I get back Fastboot so I can install clockworkmod recovery and put cyanogenmod back on it?
Thanks!

I'm just glad you couldn't find fastboot because flashing Clockworkmod onto that bootloader is a very quick way to hard brick yourself.
You are automatically in fastboot when you see the 3 icons on that bootloader. You do not need to select it like before..
but... You want to use the downgrade zip in the Hiarybean thread to go back to 4.1 bootloader and compatible TWRP.
DO NOT USE CWM.

hello, not sure what's going on here but I can't boot normally (it just stays on the OnePlus logo)
can't boot to recovery either, still just the logo. (vol down & power)
I have fastboot, and tried to flash a genuine twrp recovery... http://i.imgur.com/TY300qg.png
as you can see from that image, it was successful - but I still can't boot into it.
if I try the hardware keys, again it's just the OnePlus logo, and if I try do it from fastboot without flashing, I get this...
http://i.imgur.com/TObXGB9.png
please keep in mind I definitely got the right image from the twrp website, and the sha1sums match.
so, I tried the official cyanogen recovery from their site instead, and it's the same story - it won't boot.
and during all this, I can't boot normally either.
at the moment I'm thinking I need some sort of full rom that can be flashed with fastboot. it may be possible to convert the flashable version from OnePlus (http://i.imgur.com/KvMHvaZ.png) to a fastboot one with a tool like sdat2img.py. But I got a FAILED (remote: Unknown chunk type) when I tried to fastboot flash system system.img with the new system.img I got from sdat2img.py
anyway, any help would be much appreciated - this is very annoying.
thank you,
Senan

You have to flash 2.2.2 with that recovery first. Just download it to your phone storage. Then your back into the game. I think what you did was flash OOS3 and changed bootloader. That is why you were having problems with twrp.

Don't use install img option on twrp it may not work always
Instead of that you can flash recovery using fastboot with "fastboot flash recovery (the name of recovery).img) command

After install recovery with "Fastboot flash recovery ...img"

Note that the Z2, like most other Sony devices does not have a proper bootable recovery. As such you have to install a kernel that includes a recovery with it. For a time I will try to continue to supply updated stock kernels repacked with TWRP in them. If you are running one of my kernels or have a custom ROM like OmniROM installed, you can install TWRP in the FOTAKernel partition to stay on the latest version of TWRP.
Device page on our website
Mirror 1
Mirror 2
To install a stock kernel, boot the device into fastboot mode and then from your computer: fastboot flash boot path/to/filename.img

However is it true? With latest updates there was bootloader update which brings (or at least should as Sony said) /recovery partition (or more gives access to it, coz partitions was probably always there).
However how it exactly works? I always thought that onee flashed update with newest bootloader will leave new bootloader and this partition forever. But I got Z2 with .291, downgraded it to 4.4.2 for Root and TA backup and than tried to flash recovery to recovery partition, but got error: FAILED (data transfer failure (Unknown error)).
Does it mean that only on latest update(s) there is possibility to use this partition?
Never tried it on my ZU before. I just started form latest 5.1.1.
EDIT: OK, so what i assumed was right - on 6.0.1 I was able to flash the recovery to it's partition.
Now the problem is with booting into it. How? With Power + Vol- it still stright to boots to OS...
EDIT2: adb reboot recovery boots to different bootloader screen (Power+Vol- gives SONY screen and adb gives SONY + XPERIA screen.
However it still boots strght to Android...
Any idea what I'm doing wrong? I have 23.5.A.1.291 + unlocked bootloader + TWRP 3.0.2-0 (official) flashed with fastboot flash recovery img.
I'm 100% sure that SONY screen (w/o XPERIA) is the right one as I have identical one on my ZU when booting into bootloader-recovery mode. But why here it don't boot TWRP, but OS?
HELPPPP
Pleaseeeee tell me how did you flash twrp 3.0? I have tried almost everything it now seems impossible for me... Pleaseee helpp me T_T ... Thankk youuu
Hello
I recently bought a new device (lollipop version) and I've rooted it successfully so I decided to flash a custom recovery because I want to back up my OS before I start flashing xposed framework.
So I searched the net for a custom recovery for my device (Infinix hot 3 x554) and I found one, then I flashed the custom recovery using mobileuncle root and I reboot into recovery and nothing changed my stock recovery was still there, then after booting my device I flashed the custom recovery again using flashify and I reboot into recovery my phone just booted normally instead if taking me to recovery mode, now my stock recovery isn't there anymore, please I need assistant on how to fix this.
My device: Infinix Hot 3 x554
Version: 5.1
Kernel Version: 3.10.72+
Build Number: x554-W90918-A2-L-20160607
I used kingroot to root the device.
Thank you
It seems your recovery partition restores itself or there are specific scripts in your boot.img which restores stock recovery when detects modified recovery. You must install it via fastboot.
Obtain fastboot and run this command (You can have it with Android SDK or you can find it in Google too.).
Code:
fastboot flash recovery *filename*.img
But you have to be sure you have proper drivers for your device.
Okay, but I did some little research about how to flash recovery and I saw something about unlocking bootloader, so could it be because I haven't unlocked my bootloader that's why it didn't work?

Yes. You need to unlock bootloader before flashing custom recovery. Locked bootloader prevents modify stock partition.

bootloader - unlocked
ROM - PE
i flashed derpfest ROM, but when I rebooted it, it went to fastboot. i was not able to boot into TWRP too. it just kept going to fastboot again and again. so I flashed stock ROM using mi flash tool (stock fastboot ROM). now I am able to access the mi recovery menu but there is no install from zip option, not able to boot into the system as it goes to fastboot while booting into the system. in short, now I have access to fastboot and limited access to the mi recovery menu.
i tried to flash custom recovery (TWRP and orange fox). it gets flashed but cannot boot into those recoveries and goes to fastboot again.
i tried to boot the custom recovery directly too with "fastboot boot twrp.img" it restarts but the recovery doesn't load.
does anyone know what to do now?
please tell me how to flash stock from or custom from anything will help.
------------------UPDATE---------------------------------
i am able to flash android 8.1 and run it but anything later then that reeboots to fastboot. cannot update from stock updater too. if i flash any firmware of PIE or later then it reeboots to fastboot.
