Hello
I got my HDX rolled back today, rooted it using Towelroot, all worked fine
Installed FLASHR and there was an image I had for TWRP, I tried mounting it as recovery but failed, then there was a Kernel option which I did install it with (The same TWRP Image), when the device rebooted it was stuck in Grey Kindle Fire screen,
I read around for methods and found some, the problem is that my device is not seen by ADB and when connected to USB there is no response.
Can this device be unbricked? Do I need the fastboot cable?
I also have taken a backup using FLASHR and it stayed on the device, is this useful?
Thanks for your time
TWRP is not compatible with 3.2.8. Try powering up by holding the on/off and volume-up buttons together. It's possible Amazon's (crippled) recovery is still intact. From there you may be able to reset your device. If successful read through the forums to determine what is possible. Options with 3.2.8 are limited.

No, this device is bricked for good assuming that your device was on FW xx.3.2.8:
- you writed incompatible twrp image on recovery and also on boot partition, the second flash was deadly
The only option for custom rom for FW xx.3.2.8 is to use safestrap and nexus for safestrap 1.0.1.
First post woo! Okay so, I rooted my Kindle Fire HD 8.9" and flashed CM 12.1 on it using twrp. It was working fine for a few days but I couldn't get Google Play Games without getting the error : "Unknown error code during application install: -505". I looked online and the only solution I could find was to do a factory reset and then the install would work. So from settings I reset my device and now it gets stuck in an eternal boot animation. I see the orange kindle fire logo then the blue kindle logo then I just stuck on the CM animation. I can boot into fastboot using: fastboot -i 0x1949 getvar product. Please help fast I will answer any questions I can!

You should ask in your device's specific help forum. Look here:

Good luck!
Hello I'm looking help with my kindlefire 8.9 hd. I attempted to root and install twrp on my tablet and then rebooted. I know am only seein the tablet boot up and then power off and boot up again. Only thing showing on the screen is the kindlefire logo. When it's connected to my windows pc I hear chimes for when it powers on and then down again.
I have attempted to run the setup script again on my desktop and the fastboot getvar devices command. When I do this It just says waiting for device. Again it keeps rebooting itself so it isn't really up in a state that would allow it to be viewable/usable from the pc. Basicly it powers off/reboots before I'm able to do much with it.
I'm not really sure what to try next or if there are any options at this point.
I was following this tutorial to root/install android on my kindlefire 8.9 hd.
Well I'm unable to post with a url in it until I the 10 post requirement. Any help would be greatly appreciated.
Hi all. This is my first post and I want to thank all the devs for the great job.
As for my question. I have a kindle fire 7" HDX Model X43Z60 that was stuck in a boot loop. We ordered a factory cable and was able to get it into fastboot, I also was able to install the drivers properly. It comes up as android adb interface. No errors or yellow signs.
adb and fastboot are not seeing the device when I try to list them. I've tried uninstalling and reinstalling the drivers. Reboots. I'm not sure what else to do here after much fiddling around with it. I can't get nothing to work even though the kindle is showing up in device manager and showing no conflicts.
I would like to at least get this kindle to factory reset.
Any information you can give me would be very much appreciated.

You have Kindle Fire HD, not HDX. So I think you better ask in proper section.:good:
Hello my fire HD 6 is constantly looping at the fire logo and I don’t know what to do. I tried at fastboot mode but it gets stuck. Can anyone help me?
I had two devices with the same problem.
For the first device I did reset from recovery and it help.
For the second device the resetting did nothing and I tried
Code:
adb sideload
and has loaded *.bin file with firmware from my computer. After that, the second device also started working.
