I would like to use my tablet to design new faces... is there a way to copy from tablet to phone (both are rooted)

So I managed to root my Nook Tablet today, and now I am onto my next huge problem... getting touch OSC to work on the Nook Tablet and syncing it with Ableton. Touch OSC is an audio program that is synced with Ableton to control midi live on stage. My problem is that when I open the network option which is under settings, the program 'touch OSC' crashes. I am running my Nook on Honeycomb , the Android software - so my Nook should basically function like an Android Tablet... and I have no idea why the program is crashing. I rooted it the proper way via this site.
Anyone have any idea what to do next?
I can not find a solution for this on the internet ANYWHERE. In fact, Hexler is completely focused on questions for the iPhone and iPad, and any other thread about touch osc is for an android device.. however I am using a Nook with android device and I can not find any other instructions with this situation!

Two points: 1) this is Gingerbread, not Honeycomb. If the app is designed for Honeycomb, that may explain why it does not work. 2) even rooted with gapps installed, there are still parts of the Google framework that are not available (for example, Google Contacts does not work). There will be some apps that will not work.

Did you ever find a solution? I'm doing this but on my Nook Color with CM9 ICS
Hello eveybody!
I recently purchased an android 9.7" tablet (Cube U9GT2) which I upgraded to ICS. Now the tablet works just fine, but when I started instaling tabled optimized apps things got weirdish.
The thing is, most of the tabs with support for dual interfaces (i.e. one for phoneview/resolution and one for tablets) don't work properly. The most convenient example I can describe here is with Pocket Informant. The app automatically detects whether I'm on my phone or tablet, and adjusts the interface accordingly. Though in my case, my tablet is recognized as a phone, thus giving me the phone interface stretched out to my tablet resolution/view. When I boot the app in landscape, however, I get the tablet interface, but as soon as the orientation switched to portrait or back, I am stuck in phoneview again.
This problem related to any apps that work this way. Is there any way solving this on my end?
Thanks in advance!

Hi All,
I will be picking up a replacement for my Acer A500 tablet (I'm moving to a Lenovo Thinkpad Tablet).
I have a few games, etc. on there that I would like to keep the settings and move them to the new tablet. Can someone tell me where I'd find the folder that contains these settings? Is there an easy way to move them from a non-rooted tablet to another non-rooted tablet?
(and yes, I did search the forums, but nothing relevant came up - unless I was using an incorrect search string).
Thanks!
You can't get those files without Rooting so your only choice is to Root and use Titanium Backup.
i am using Asus Fonepad 7, android 4.3, I need to gift this to my mom who stay at different location, since she is not an android user so at times i may need to take a control of the tablet to sort out things for her.
I DONT WANT TO ROOT MY TABLET.
IS THERE ANY WAY I CAN REMOTELY CONTROL MY TABLET FROM MY PC(windows) .??
Hello community!
My situation is as follow: I'm going to deliver phones to small business with an application pre-installed. I want the device to have only that application and no other (no play store, chrome or anything) so the phone is not used for other reason. Another nice-to-have would be that the app auto starts with the phone (in a kiosk mode).
This is very important aspect since we have tested that if the phone has other apps it is used as a personal phone and was a big loose for me. I'm thinking on a cheap phone (ie Samsung Grand Prime or something like that).
What is the best option I have to do this?
Is it feasible that I create my own Android version?
Note: I'm a developer (mobile, java) but with no experience in modifying phones.
Thank you very much!!
