I haven't ported the rom, this rom is ported by Ukrainian developer

New - Reading mode can turn on and off at sunset and sunrise automatically (05-03)
Steps For Flashing!:
1. Go to Recovery and firstly install repartitioncolouros.zip
2. Now it will open again recovery than wipe data ,cache ,dalvik cache and format system
3.Than install the Rom
Download: MIUI 8.3 v7.5.4 (14/06/17)
Repartition Zip (Please FLASH Before Flashing The ROM For Smoother MIUI 8.3 Experience):- HERE
-Flash at your own risk. I am not responsible for bricked devices or any damages caused due to the ROM. You loose warranty whenever you root your device or flash custom ROM's.

I installed this a while ago, from the Ukrainian site, I faced many bugs like no root and not even being able to root, also whatsapp won't notify me for new messages until I enter the app, hope those are fixed, if not now, in the near future.

Edit: I actually faced those bugs on this build.
got new bugs.
1. phone is getting restarted automatically.
2. 2nd sim is not getting activated.
3. front camera is not working.

Hey @r0m10 i tried your new build 6.7.7, the problem is I always get the rom without gapps despite of seeing in the installation process "updating gapps " which means there are gapps in the rom,what could be the cause ?
I always make a clean install and end up like this. Concerning the lockscreen there's a shortcut for camera but not for phone, the root access problem is gone though , thanks.

Where is v6.7.7 ..i need this rom ..not heavy in ram. But the root access is not working ..also sa front cam no rotate in the stock cam..

Yeah you should download some flashable keyboard from xda or anywhere and flash, i faced this too but I had one fortunately.

I've flash already the zip above but still not working and also explorer sd card is jot working to...hope there will be an update to this..i like this rom other than Miui ported..not to heavy on ram

I tried Kingroot and kingoroot it doesn't root...well do you have link for supersu..btw when flashing the rom i read that tgere are supersu installing....in cwm..

If you ever heard of Blekota S5 ROM for the S3, you'd see that they did the impossible to get the S5 camera working ... and they failed. It's impossible, unless you're reaching beyond it guys!

I did it!
Took the old GenNxt ROM (the camera works in that one, that's why) and stripped it up.
It's now 631 megs.
Removed almost all Sammy bloat and features (even good old AllShare!), except TouchWiz Home.
But the problem is that Messaging got broken. FC when opening a message (but Google Play alternatives work fine).
Working on a fix for this on the weekend.

I also changed the default background (/system/wallpaper) to the Note 4 ones.
Sideloading the Note 4 leaks and broken apps, too.

If u have added the apps, framework or priv-apps etc from this port to old gennxt, UPSM and TOOLBOX etc still be not working.... right? Or are these also working?

I found myself working more and more on the ROM, so I thought I might as well turn it into a DevDB project. The context is:

By popular request, I decided to add back the Camera and Gallery.
Note: If you want Mobile Hotspot, make sure that you're using the latest DOB1 modem. Mobile Hotspot works on Test Versions 2 and 3 at least.
You must flash SuperSU after flashing any one of the provided downloads. They are all recovery-flashable zips. Here is where you'll find the Add-On zip, and all of its packages except for the ones that modify the SystemUI or already installed apps (for example, the Camera mods), will work.

Installation instructions
* Download the ROM (see the next section)
* Download the latest version of SuperSU
* Reboot to Recovery
* Clear Cache & Dalvik (and also Data if you're coming from AOSP)
* Flash the ROM
* Flash the SuperSU zip
* Reboot
Note: you can use the device right after reboot, but some resources may take some time to finish loading (~1 minute), such as the thumbnails in Gallery. Moreover, it should not take more than three minutes to boot up.

I'm not entirely sure, but it probably doesn't hurt to try right? You can always backup and restore.
Using it on my w8. Make sure you use an updated bootloader. This is the smoothest experience I've ever had on an s5. This is the lightest rom ever. Startup is 5 seconds. Thanks!! WiFi hotspot doesn't work on the previous version without camera and gallery. Haven't tried it yet here but will update soon.

Is there any kitkat or lollipop based T-mobile ROM that work with G900W8?
I hope to have two things working 1. WiFi calling and 2. WiFi tethering restriction removed.
I don't seek anything much other than these two. I prefer stability the most.
Could you recommend me any ROMs that could offer these two features? Thank you

This is the smoothest ROM on TW. The boot up time is insane!! The only thing I wish this ROM had was the fingerprint scanner working and private mode ? other than that its perfect !!!

Huh. Isn't private mode working? I don't think I made any changes that would break Private Mode, but I'll check this anyways. Fingerprint Scanner was removed intentionally. I believe that the current XtreSoLite Lollipop addon package, which includes the Fingerprint Scanner (and possibly also Private Mode), will work seamlessly with this ROM, but I'll make sure that that's the case.

1) I'll see if I can do it. I probably won't be able to test it though, because I have a limited data plan.

4 & 6) Would be nice also, but since the ROM is completely odexed, and I don't want to de-odex it, I would have to edit and insert hex into the SystemUI to get the flashlight working, and while editing is totally in my reach, fake text insertion is questionable. It could prove to be unnecessarily hard.
7) I'm looking into this currently.
8) This depends on the kernel. The current ROM offers only the Stock kernel. If you would like fast charging, install Ktoonsez's kernel for Lollipop TW.
9) It's enabled by default as far as I can tell (during a call -> settings -> scroll down and it will say that VoLTE is selected by default).

Huh. Interesting, thanks for the input. I haven't made any changes that would make hotspot work yet, probably. I'll update this post once I figure out what went wrong. In the mean time, can you check whether or not hotspot works from a clean install of the full stock rooted ROM? It will at least tell me whether my whole version has hotspot broken or I accidentally removed some essential part of it.

Use the latest modem and test it again. I found that it worked for me without any new changes.

The big blue button next to the picture of the phone works for me. It starts to download the rom.
Battery life seems like h2os lolipop .. Give chance to settle thw rom for bettery. May be wait for 2 battery cyacle

the data toggle is buggy (others thing i dunno i returned to oos)
Rom is based on h2os lolipop.. It has data toogle bug(though data conection work fine)...bt got n ota of 90 mb
Stuck in Set up SIM cards.

Steps: Coming from OOS (Lollipop), Wipe Everything(Except Internal), Flash Flyme(Its showing "error executing updater binary in zip"), Reboot into TWRP again, Flash Rom (Now succeed), Flash Gapps(Nano), Flash SU then reboot. But stuck in simcard setup. Why???

link works now, i'm downloading patch
I suggest you to replace browser by chrome since it crashes everytime and chrome is much better, and remove color switch app because it doesn't work on our device

Awesome! I was looking forward for MIUI 8 since it was released.
I wiped everything + factory reset, ROM does not install
same here! Errors during install. Intalation aborted.
Was showing the mounting error, but i kept waiting and it got installed and working awesome. I used the open GAPS with this. Good Speed/ no lag. The only issue is proximity sensor is not working correctly.

You're right, I waited about 15-20 minutes and it worked!
Important to note that GAPPS should be version 6.0

After flash i get an error that, definitions as stoped, right after sim card pin. And got stuck there.. Any solutions?
I have been using this for a day. Besides the Chinese apps which I have trust issues with. My phone has been more stable then it ever has. Thanks devs. I just wish it was mi bloat free. The store updated my LinkedIn with a Chinese version. I can't trust that.
I recently ran. Cm12.1 cm13 and dn4 all crash way too often. This ROM is insanely smooth. Took some work to figure out the keyboard during initial setup. And titanium would not restore. Had to install SuperSU. Still didn't work. Then once I uninstalled SuperSU it worked. Super pain. Just wish it had an app drawer. I like the default launcher.

this is because you flashed gapps along with rom. do clean system, then flash rom only, after you get to home screen restart and flash gapps and supersu.

I've frozen all chinese apps via titanium backup its very easy. all my apps restored ok.
linkedin is ok, its just a title called in chinese.

I had the same issue. Don't flash gapps with the ROM. Flash ROM. Set it up then flash gapps.

I have problem obtaining root even after flashing supersu.
Guys, use A-GAPPS. They worked for me with no problem and I flashed them alongside MIUI.
Just confirming that 'Unlock with Bluetooth device' feature still not working. It never finds the device to connect with. Same as it never worked in MIUI 7. Hopefully it could be eventually fixed
