BLU Studio Energy - Can't Install any rom - Android Q&A, Help & Troubleshooting

Hello, a friend of mine asked for me to try to recover his bricked device, it wont have any custom recovery, only the default android recovery, i put up an sdcard with a rom suggested in here but i always get installation aborted in "Opening update package". I already tryed SP Flash Tool, since i cant actually remove its battery, i tried forcing a simulation of removing its battery by pressing vol up + power so SP Flash Tool can recognize it which i does but i get stuck in the red bar "Download DA", i tried also sideload via adb, but i got "error:closed" and fastboot wont recognize the device, any help?
Thanks for reading:fingers-crossed:, and sorry my bad english, isn't my native language.

Initially I tried to root the P9000 following this guide (http://forum.xda-developers.com/elephone-p9000/how-to/how-to-guideline-install-mtk-drivers-t3344042), and it seems to have bricked my phone. I got this error, (BROM ERROR-1073676724), and now my phone won't boot, or boot into recovery mode. The PC only sees it if I plug it in and press the recovery buttons (Vol+ and power), and then it'll flash up for a short time before vanishing. I've found the only way to keep it visible in the device manager is to use the flashtool to attempt to flash something to it, but I get this error (BROM ERROR -1073414139). I've tried this on a Windows 10 and a Windows 7 PC with no dice on either. Any help would be much appreciated.

Fixed it, but I'll leave this up for anyone thinking they might have the same problem. I fixed this by flashing the stock ROM again, but with one key difference. Ensure you install all appropriate drivers, and then when you hit download, plug the phone in and attempt to put it into recovery mode. This will open the port just long enough for the flash tool to keep it open, and it will flash as usual.

[Q] i cant get TWRP recovery installed via either , SP Flash tools nor Fastboot

I did everything that was stated in the how to's but to no avail. additionally i cant get TWRP installed via fatboot, i have checked and crosschecked usb debugging and unlock OEM , but i cant get it to work , with SP Flash my phone pops up and vanishes in the hardware manager withing fractions of a second so it doesnt work with the sp Flash , in fastboot it wont let me download to recovery even if i use the command line oem unlock , because the volume up button that you have to use to accept[yes] doesnt work , only the vol down[no ] button has an effect, anyone any ideas anyone?

To use SP Flash tools, turn the phone off, press download on the software then plug the phone in. The preloader is only meant to show for a short time (a fraction of a second to a few seconds) so SPFT needs to be sending the signal to download in that time window.
What I've also found works is to press download on SPFT then press and hold power and volume up until the device starts downloading.
thx for the quick answer i will try a.s.a.p.

That could be a couple of things:
Which SPFT version are you using? If its an older version try using a newer one.
Or
The scatter file you loaded is not good, download a stock firmware and use the scatter file from that.
Try this:
fastboot flash recovery "filename".img
or
fastboot flash boot "filename".img
Do you have the MTK drivers installed? What does your phone appear as in the Device Manager? Like others have said, once you've chosen your scatter file and recovery to flash, hit download and then plug in the phone.
Managed to fix this? I have the exact same problem and not able to fix it till now....
I'm in a similar situation. I CAN get my phone to flash recovery in SPFT and get a lovely big green tick but when I power off and boot into recovery using power and volume up it boots into the stock android recovery rather than TWRP.
Going another way via ADB, I can get the phone detected but when I send the OEM unlock bootloader command I am unable to use volume up to confirm. Only the volume down key works to cancel.
All I want is to put viper4android on. Never had any issues until this phone.

Are you 100% sure the recovery.img you flashed was TWRP?
Absolutely. Downloaded from this very site. It was this one: recovery_TWRP_3021_P9000.img

Did an OTA update this morning and am showing as on build number Elephone_P9000_20160608 now. Haven't tried flashing since the update as I'm at work with locked down computers. Was going to try again over the weekend. Which recovery and version of flash tools would you recommend trying this time?
thanks for any advice.
Actually I have the same problem.
I tried to reinstall the drivers because it seems to be not the correct one. Here is a pic: i.imgur.com/FoUnVyz.png
After I read somewhere that i can try and hold down Volume+ while connecting my phone to the pc where i started the download in sp tools prior.
I got this error code: STATUS_PRELOADER_INVALID(0xC0030004)
And here I am with a not-up-to-date elephone p9000.
Anybody care to help me?
I'm in the same situation, tried everything - flashtool recovery.img separate in download mode, flashtool in update mode full 7.0 with replaced original recovery.img with TWRP one, played with fastboot with no luck as did not find the way to OEM UNLOCK it - vol + not reacting. Bought the phone on Gearbest, looks like it's locked very hard.
Can't install TWRP
Me too! I've updated my p9000 to latest stock v7 rom with spft. I can't install twrp recovery despite getting a geen tick from spft. Tried four times but it won't overwrite the stock rom recovery. A locked bootloader seems to be the popular diagnosis but spft doesn't use the bootloader. What else could it be? Ideas very welcome.
Did you boot into recovery immediately after flashing? A normal system boot will overwrite TWRP with the stock recovery. Once you start TWRP there is an option to prevent this from happening.
Can't install TWRP
Thanks for the suggestion. I flashed twrp again but it won't boot into recovery afterwards without a restart, just hangs. Stiĺl on stock recovery.

Wiko rainbow 4G not starting; bootloop/softbrick, cannot install new software.

Hi there,
I have a problem with my wiko rainbow 4G, it's soft-bricked.
This happend while i was trying to update the software (normal notification, official update). It just rebooted into recovery.
I'm stuck there now and tried several thing like: adb side-load (transfers files, but always returns: intallation aborted, Updating from sd card (same error), factory reset and clear cache did nothing.
While in recovery my phone only shows up as an sideload adb device (in adb interface). I don't know how to get into fastboot to install custom recovery either, tried both power + up and/or down volume buttons.
Also most guides ask me to use a flash tool, but these don't do anything. The official software doesn't detect the phone (neither in normal, sideload or recovery state.
I am left clueless, please help
Thanks

Error in format+flashing ROM through SP Flash Tools, ended up with a bricked phone

Hello!
My phone, Acer Liquid Z630s, recently had a problem and ended up shutting off as soon as it boots up. I turn it on, the Acer powered by Android white screen shows up then immediately shuts off. What was the problem here?
I couldn't access recovery mode either because it would also show up the same thing above then shut off immediately before it can even reach the recovery mode menu. But I could plug it in directly into download mode through SP Flash Tools because the phone vibrates when I hold down the volume up + power buttons (aka the recovery mode combination which was I think also the download mode combination). I downloaded the correct stock ROM off the Acer website (MT6753) and flashed it. The ROM was successfully flashed. But when I turned it on the screen lit up but it was just a blank black screen. It was lit up, but it was just dark black. I tried to wipe the system and flash the ROM again and at the end of the process, an error message appeared and I looked up the error code and this was exactly it:
"Error 6104
Message: BROM ERROR: S_SECURITY_SECURE_USB_DL_DA_RETURN_INVALID_TYPE (6104), MSP ERROR CODE : 0X00
Meaning: Wrong flash settings or firmware
Solution:
Ensure you set the correct Download-Agent in SP flash tool and are using a firmware for your exact model
Go to Options > Option > Connection > USB Speed > Full Speed
Go to Options > Option > Download > Untick DA DL All with Checksum"
I did what the solution told me, and as I tried to flash the ROM again, but I couldn't turn on my phone anymore. The volume up + power button combination no longer produces a vibration, and when I plug it into my computer it gets detected as a MediaTek USB Port (COM6) but SP Flash Tools no longer detects my phone and gives off this error:
"Error 0x13BE
Message: S_DL_GET_DRAM_SETTING_FAIL (0x13BE)
Meaning: The firmware you're trying to flash is either not compatible with your device or you have selected the wrong flashing settings
Solution:
Ensure that the file(s) you're trying to flash are actually for your exact phone model
Ensure you tick the boxes for only the files present in the ROM you're about to flash"
I don't know what to do at this point. Is it beyond salvation? But my phone still gets detected by my computer and it still produces the sound when you connect a device through the USB ports. Help me please.
Thank you in advance.

Explain me what did you tried and which file you flashed?

Lenovo A3500hv dead boot

Hey friends! :fingers-crossed:
I have lenovo a3500hv tablet. I tried to install a custom rom with twrp, but it failed. After the process of flashing I just checked the recovery menu and it was working. I turned off the device and after few hours, I tried a lot to turn it on, but I failed (There is no screen light, no vibrate or any sign). So, Searched a lot and I found that I should flash the original rom to survive my tablet. When I try to connect tablet to PC, my PC makes sound and I can see my device name in the Device Manager; Also, I have the MTK drivers installed. So, I load the scatter file and try to flash with SP Flash Tool and it's shows me the name of my tablet, but when I start to flash, SP Flash Tool does not start the flash process. I used a lot ways to connect my tablet like Volume Down + Power, Volume Up Power and ...
Please help me guys
