Delayed/Slow Notifications - Samsung Gear Fit

I've had my Gear Fit 2 for 2 weeks now. I used to have an Android Wear watch. On my old watch, I would receive notifications on my watch at the same time I would on my phone. Now with my Gear Fit 2, I'll get the notification for something on my phone and a several seconds later it will show up on my Gear Fit 2. Is this how it's supposed to work or is it just mine that is delayed?

Your notifications are delayed.
My Gear Fit 2 receives the notifications with 1 second difference.

SMS Notification

I am very happy with my Gear S so far, only one ting is bothering me:
I don't receive any SMS Notifications on my Gear S (when paired by bluetooth to my phone), as a matter of fact I am not able to check the stock program "Messages" in the Notifications of Gear Manager, it just isn't there. Anyone has similar problems or a solution? Thank you!
Every time I thought something was not working right on my Gear S, it turned out to be user error
I almost brought mine back to T-Mobile because of that!
I assume you are in the US and have separate SIM cards for watch and Samsung phone? For that matter, I assume you have a compatible Samsung phone connected to Gear S?
If yes, here is how I set up my settings:
In Gear app on phone:
Notifications - manage notifications - make sure messages are enabled (along with all other apps you want to see notifications for, but I suggest to limit those, don't pick everything, the watch starts buzzing all the time then and it tends to drain the battery)
Limit notifications - don't check
List view - I have that checked
Settings - use remote connection checked
On Gear S:
Settings - mobile networks - use mobile networks: set to always on
If you use auto on/off, you will not receive any SMS sent to watch # while connected to phone via BT
Settings - notifications : check both list view and notifications
Settings - Messages - outgoing number: mobile device
Make sure you don't have "do not disturb" enabled under settings. I use that feature every night when the Gear charges and I sleep...it charges on my nightstand and drove me nuts the first night buzzing every time I received any type of notification...
Hope this helps!

Yes. Everything was working this morning, but I received a text on my mobile and several emails, but they haven't appeared on the watch. And like you I can no longer see the stock sms app or email app in the list of notifications in Gear Manager!
This is very frustrating .

Update: I completely uninstalled then reinstalled Gear Manager - (which resulted in the Gear being factory reset too). This solved the problem but it did mean reinstalling and setting up all my apps from scratch which took forever.
It seems I was doing some clearing out of unused apps using a memory cleaning app that was a bit too thorough. I deleted one of the Gear Manager's components .

[Q] S Health notifications after BT disconnect/reconnect

Hi,
I am becoming somewhat irritated with the notifications on my Gear S, but only for S Health.
I want to receive alerts to my step count and if I have been inactive for too long.
What bugs me are the constant reminders to "tap here to unlock S Health and start using S Health widgets, or to receive S Health data from your Gear".
I receive those up to 50+ times per day! Especially if I walk too far away from my phone and BT disconnects and reconnects when I return.
Any tips on how to change settings either on Gear S or my Note 3?
My gear is systematically training me to ignore all notifications! Any input is greatly appreciated.

[Q] Notifications being received sporadically.

Running Gear S with UK firmware and Galaxy S 5.
Good trusted connection to the Gear/ Gear manager connected, yet I have never been able to have the Google mail notification sent to Gear S, despite the option box being ticked on Gear Manager notifications. How can I get this to work.?
Also What's App and other notifications like messaging, only work sporadically. A full reset will enable and then the next day, it will not work.
Has there been a change in the way the Gear S works with Gear Manager?
Finally, is there a way to get the little Gear connected icon to show at the top of the Galaxy S 5 scree at the notification area? It used to be, but since the u/g to Lollipop is not there anymore.
Do you have this notification on the Notification bar ?
Example : If my computer read the Gmail email, the phone do not display them because there are yet read. Same for hangout.
I don't get Gmail notifications on the phone. Maybe this is why it doesn't work? I do though with WhatsApp and the stock email service.

Gear fit 1 call-rejection message not available

Hi, I'm having problem with my Gear Fit R350. When there is incomming call I don't see the Call-rejection Message, only the red End Call and the caller ID. This is so uncomfortable because I use that feature most. Is anyone experiencing the similar problem??
I'm using Note 5 and having the latest firmware of Gear Fit Manager 2.0.15. And the Gear Fit firmware is R350XXU0BOA2.

Help With Amazfit Bip Notifications On An Iphone 6S

I use Android devices myself but my daughter just switched to an Iphone 6S. I connected her Bip for her to her new Iphone but we're having trouble with notifications. I'm not completely sure if this is just an issue with IOS because she got the Bip right around the same time she got the Iphone.
When she receives a phone call on her phone the Bip only give one very short & very weak quick vibration. It doesn't keep vibrating until she answers the call like her old Mi Band 4 did. Likewise when she receives a text message she also gets a very light & split second vibration on the Bip that's barely noticable. I believe I've gone through all of the settings on the Mi Band App on the phone and I cannot find any setting to change how the notification works. Ideally she would like the Bip to keep vibrating until she answers the call that is incoming and she would love to be able to change the intensity and extend the vibration on incoming texts. Can any of this be done or is this how it just works on IOS?
Anyone using a Bip or any Amazfit wearable with an Iphone?
