H850 10D Imgur + Tinder apps not displaying images - LG G5 Questions & Answers

Could somebody on stock 10D try both of these apps please? I don't know if it's just the Fluence patch or if 10D is just a broken mess, thinking it may be the latter though.
Older versions of the apps don't solve the problem, neither does wiping cache etc.

Working well on the stock 830 10d

If you have "Baseband Should be implemented"
Download All Flashable modems.
Root your phone, Install Custom Recovery.
Flash All modems one by one.
After each Flash clear cache, Dalvik, Factory reset and check your Baseband and IMEI.
When it returns, take an EFS backup and then you can proceed further with flashing..
I have rectified mine and 4 other users issue with this method.

D801 accepts only the D802 system
Hi Murshad007, I bought G2 D802 in aliexpress and came D801 with the D802 system. When I try to install the ROM D801 model of error of 2%. My phone is a D801 and only accepts the ROM D802. I managed to fix the touch and the network. Thanks for reading my post, sorry for bad English.
I'm currently using the rom 30A of Portugal, and the archives aboot.img boot.img recovery.img sbl1.img dbi.img modem.img laf.img persist.img rpm.img tz.img of the D801 model to work the touchscreen and the network.
Your phone came with system D802 right? I would like to know how you did to install the ROM D801 on your phone!

I have a D801, Which some one sold to me as D802. Don't knew how they do it exactly..
Editing KDZ is easier. As you don't have to search for Custom DLL. It's already included in KDZ..
Backup of IMEI means Backup of EFS. Right?

Still trying that method, but the majority of the modems bootloop my phone which is annoying so I cant pinpoint it.
I'm thinking of maybe trying the flashing of a D802 ROM onto the phone then a D801 baseband after to see if that does anything.

Wifi /bluetooth /fm radio not working --
I had posted a msg earlier in this thread but it seems no one cud find a solution .so posting the question again. ..
After I ve flashed a wrong version stock lollipop (v30d Vodafone version 5.0.2) on my lg g2 D802 16gb (indian version ) , my wifi ,bluetooth and fm radio started malfunctioning ...
Following which I tried to downgrade the version back to stock 4.4.2 and subsequently to 4.2.2 , still no use in fixing the wifi bluetooth issue. ...
I tried troubleshooting in several threads in xda and other websites and blogs but cudnt Get a solution..
Later on , as per the instructions from a reputed and very much helping xda member Somboons, I tried flashing using tot method and then CSE method then again flashed the Indian version of 5.0.2 lollipop v30b.
Still no use..The wifi and bluetooth and fm radio doesn't work.
When we turn the wifi on, it shows as "turning on " , but it won't turn on.
Similar situation with the bluetooth too.
Wen I installed an app called
z device info , it shows bluetooth and wifi as present (tick sign ) but the FM radio sign is shown as hardware not found .
Even the bluetooth mac address can be seen in the app.
But in the phone device info, in hardware details , wifi and bluetooth mac address is shown as unavailable.
SOME EXPERT MEMBERS PLS HELP out .....
Pls help me fix this issue somehow..
NB: once , wen I factory resetted in safe mode , the wifi n bluetooth turned on and worked for sometime, but there aftr it didn't work nomattrr Wat I did .
Pls help

Downgrade Nougat 7.0 to Marshmallow

I was finally able to get LG to repair my V10 under warranty to fix that overheated processor issue! Which is great, I hear people were having trouble getting LG to respond. I just asked via Facebook messenger and things got rolling.
But now I received the phone back and it's got Nougat! Nooo!! The whole point of keeping the V10 was for the wide compatibility of rooting, Xposed, customization etc and now I'm afraid I'm stuck in Nougat hell. Is there a way to downgrade back to Marshmallow safely? I'm trying to search the answers but the results are somewhat chaotic. I read that a Samsung user was able to downgrade his S7 no problem. Please point me in the right direction, anyone.

Not possible currently, unless some of the Devs can come up with a way.

Possibly, although i don't know for certain. Nor do I know how to flash a backup without TWRP or some other recovery.

I have seen that h901 30b and 30c both are on ARBv2. And luckily 20j and 20l are also on ARBv2 while 20e is on ARBv1. So it would be safe to downgrade an h901 from 30b or 30c to 20j or 20l using LGUP without any problems actually.

Use refurbish for downgrade. I guess it should matter.
@NestorRamUre
Did you use refurbish option or upgrade option (while downgrading from 30B to 20J or L)? May be you were using upgrade option, due to which you were getting the error. If so, try it with refurbish option.

I finally have an answer as to WHY you can't downgrade to MM even though ARB wasn't incremented.
When Nougat was released, the updated laf (download mode) to only flash KDZs that have a signature. MM KDZs don't have that signature.
If someone wants to get me the partition listing (instructions in the root thread), then you guys will have root again -- even on Nougat.
-- Brian
So we're you able to figure it out?

No, it is not possible unless you are rooted, but I finally have a working root method for Nougat. Just waiting on @famewolf to provide me some information to see if it needs to be modified for the V10 (working on G4 and V20).

I've never used FOTA on LGUP, so don't know about that. I've used Upgrade and Refurbish modes on Dev Patched LGUP.
Also works with US998 converted from LS998.
Just wait for KDZ. The OTA hasn't even been officially released. So until it is, it's still technically beta or Release Candidate.
Once it's officially released, the KDZ will soon follow.

Thus confirming US998 30a was beta/Release Candidate and which was deemed not good enough to be official Pie KDZ. Same thing happened with EU H930 30a -- and LG should have not even released the buggy EU H930 30b, which became official Pie but which they soon pulled from their servers.

It's up to you. I'm staying on stable Oreo until Pie is officially released -- which for US998 means the full image KDZ is released to the public.
Also, I'm running Anxious V30 mod and she's not updating that mod for Pie until Verizon V30 gets Pie.

I have no idea how to find the link/file.
Edit: https://lg-firmware-rom.com/ and entering your IMEI works to get a link.. DL is slow as hell, though.

Yep. Anyone willing to create a flashable zip?
Here
First post on page by matthew33. It is the 30a version. It is called test version there but in the end, it turned out to be the final version.
But is it truly identical? I.e. same hash?
Edit: Nope.. the beta shows as GLOBAL version, while the final kdz is EUR version.
Just flashed it via LG Bridge. Version number is V30a-EUR-XX and security patches from May 2019. So far it has been working without any problems. Although I don't see any big changes compared to Oreo as LG has so heavily skinned their OS (no vertical sound control bars etc.).

Also on unbranded
It's also available on unbranded device in Austria.
I've just downloaded it OTA in Spain. Does anyone have the "what's new" list? I removed it by accident before being able to read it and now I can't find it.

Well, my phone updated yesterday in a few minutes, and the download via LG Bridge took about 2-3 minutes, so not that slow

Anyone having problems with netflix and Dolby Vision after updating the H870 to Android Pie??
Whenever I try to play dolby vision content on netflix the screen looks washed out, no blacks, awful. It keeps that way until i exit from the app.

Rs988 marshmallow voice input problem...

Hello, looking for some help with my rs988 bootloader unlocked, rooted g5. Went back to MM after having problems with reception-seems a well known prob without a solution-but can't use voice input through keyboard or google. It listens, but hears nothing. If I restore my nougat nandroid it works fine. I have tried mm 10c, 10d kdz's, flashing in twrp, lgup more than once, and using dowloads from more than one place. Is this familiar to anyone? Any advice? Should I try the kernel? Dirty flash N to MM? Thank you.
