CyanogenMod is based on the Android Open Source Project with extra contributions from many people within the Android community. It can be used without any need to have any Google application installed. Linked below is a package that has come from another Android project that restore the Google parts. CyanogenMod does still include various hardware-specific code, which is also slowly being open-sourced anyway.
All the source code for CyanogenMod is available in the CyanogenMod Github repo. And if you would like to contribute to CyanogenMod, please visit out Gerrit Code Review.

Download the twrp.img from twrp site preferably 3.0.20 and then install flashify and flash the .IMG file this works with no pc and only if you have SuperSU installed and root access. Hope I helped
I used flashfire on google play (free) and flashed recovery twrp.
After that, reboot in recovery and flash the rom. I had to first do a wipe/cache wipe before it installed the cm12 without issues.
Then you install gapps, reboot and be patient.
turns out i needed the twrp file of danil to work installed fine now. Upon boot i got a kernel is not seandroid enforcing . Set warranty bit: kernel then it proceeded to start booting is it normal?
Downloaded latest twrp from their page.
However I did follow the guide of how to install from another version of twrp. That did not work!
So I had to use Odin to flash the lastest twrp to my phone.
I cannot install the package as well, because is says the package is for serranoveltexx you have serranovelte
I can install the CM11 just fine.

Installing recovery_work.zip for CM12 is necessarily!!
New recovery cnahges:
Changed name from serranovelte to serranoveltexx, because my build have serranoveltexx name.
New recovery installing:
Put recovery_work.zip to Micro SD(or Phone memory)
Reboot recovery, install recovery_work.zip
Reboot recovery
And now you can install CM12.

Yes, this is message about Custom kernel)It is normal)
Bug reporting :
Phone reboots at random intervals when enabling disabling WiFi or data from status bar . Sometimes the fb messenger app can't connect to Internet while the phone can . Other issue is audio fx that cuts out every audio output when on so it must be disabled and last applications such as fb messenger notification sounds are way waaayy lower than they should be . This much I have so far . Pretty stable nonetheless
Another thing is it drains battery fast don't know if needs calibration for first time and another important thing is that if the phone sits with closed screen for too long or you were doing something hardware demanding before locking screen the phone doesn't respond to button presses for 5 minutes.
Danil if you can boost the sound for application notifications such as fb messenger and in audio calls . both are low especially notification sounds . in call Audio needs a boost cause in louder environments you can't hear anything even at max volume
---------- Post added at 07:19 PM ---------- Previous post was at 07:15 PM ----------
Also folders are 2x2 and are small scrollable squares and there is no option to change that so yeah take a look into that also

Ok)tomorrow i'll to try fixit)
So Danil super serious bug needs immediate fix . When the phone is turned off it can't charge . It shows the warranty bit kernel error and it doesn't begin to charge . If you can fix it would be perfect
So far, I can confirm the battery drain, it does drain quite faster than stock, but it gets easily through a day with low to moderate use.
Although it's quite snappy, Youtube video playback on Chrome has the video and audio out of sync. Video moves slower.
Add-on dictionaries for other languages wouldn't list additional languages I could install work for the stock keyboard so I had to reinstall google keyboard from google play, and then it worked.
I can confirm IR Blaster works for me as well.
later edit: Don't think it's a bug but an issue of CM12 in itself, I can't seem to use the phone and camera shortcuts on the lockscreen. Although I start swiping from a corner it doesn't always register the swipe, and when I finally nail it, it sometimes decides not to launch the phone or camera, This happens especially with the camera.
P.S. Any way of disabling the need to swipe twice to access quick settings in the notification drawer? It's super annoying.
I mean other than the shortcuts in the corner. I would like to always show the quick settings when I open the notifications drawer.
P.S.2 Although I am all into this google material design, damn it has a crapload of colors, it's like a skittles UI. Wished CM had an option to stick to one-two colors max

Lockscreen shortcuts work for me . Also about colours change to a theme you like in theme engine . Google keyboard is better than the aosp that's for sure . I only use YouTube app which works great . Only thing it doesn't have cardboard mode that is compatible with phone

I write this with sailfish os, and as I tested, its a smooth rom, but I don't know, how I can install apks, because it's failing. So I think it's not supported. There are not much apps preinstalled so you can not use this app as an daily driver but I know, it's an alpha
Thanks, @taaeem
ps: For the german ones, the rom can be also in german

Thanks taaeem for the hard work. I've been a baker for the Jolla Phone but screen was so poor than I didn't keep it.
But SailfishOS is a very good OS and I hope it will not be dropped off by Jolla.
So, seeing this awesome OS on the good OnePlus X is a very good news
Thanks bro for alpha release... Rom is very smooth. However, there are not much apps installed on the system.
Tried installing apps from the instructions and successfully installed ware house app. From ware house I have installed music player and files apps, but unable to install whatsapp, skype, FB messenger. After installation, the default apps terminal, settings and some more disappeared and unable to find what happened on the system. But Thanks bro....
Hoping for the future releases.

These are Android apps, so they will not work as the alien-dalvik machine will never be included into these port ...
Does the exchange sailfish os app work on this port?
I haven't tried it. What about default apps missing after installing some from warehouse?
Do you have any idea?

About LD
Years after the death of LiquidSmooth, Sean Hoyt, (the LiquidSmooth lead dev) has returned to the ROM game, along with the Exynos5420 team, to bring greatness to our beloved Exynos5420 tablets (and note 3), out of the ashes of the fallen LiquidSmooth ROM. LiquidDeathOS is super optimized for the Exynos5420.
In fact right now it is so optimized that it won't even boot on non-exynos devices
LDO is AOSP based , and is only for Exynos devices
(it's even more optimized than cm).
Important info
I don't support Xposed and any logcat which includes a Xposed module will be ignored. You're kindly invited to not report bugs if you:
Flashed a custom kernel
Installed or did mods from untrusted sources
Modified system files
What works:
Display/Brightness
Touchscreen
Audio
Wifi
S-Pen
Buttons/Lights
SDCard
USB Storage
GPS
Bluetooth
IR Blaster
Camera
OMS/substratum theme engine
What doesn't work:
The default wallpaper is from DU, it will be changed in time
Not in the list? Report below
How to install
1. Download ROM and Gapps and transfer to device
2. Boot into recovery (TWRP recommended)
3. Wipe the system, cache, data, and dalvik cache
4. Install ROM
5. Install Gapps

FAQ:]
Q Does this ROM support custom kernels?
A No.
Q Why doesn't this ROM support Xposed?
A Xposed is a hack that is geared towards AOSP, custom ROM's modify the framework a lot, so Xposed can cause a ton of issues on custom ROM's. Now it might work for you, however it is not to be discussed in this thread, and you should refrain from posting bug reports while using it as Xposed can cause a lot of bugs.
Q Alright, but I still want to flash Xposed, so which version do I need to install?
A Xposed is not yet available for nougat, however when it is ready you will need to use the version arm sdk 25.
Q Can I have an ETA for the next build?
A Yes, the next build will be Thursday evening (eastern time), unless if something goes wrong of course...
Q Do I need to provide a log if I'm reporting a bug?
A If you want it to be fixed faster (or at all) then yes, you should definitely provide a log.
Q I installed a bad theme and now I'm getting a bootloop, how do I fix it?
A In TWRP, flash the substratum rescue zip in the substratum folder in the internal storage.
Q Can the builds be dirty flashed over each other?
A Yes, however make a nandroid first as there is a chance of getting a bootloop or encountering bugs, also bugs may only be reported on a clean flash.
Q How do I get a logcat, and what type should I get, and more questions that can conveniently be answered by my pre-determined answer?
A Read this thoroughly. Also, here's a good app for getting logs: https://play.google.com/store/apps/details?id=com.tortel.syslog

No unwanted stuff, debloated right out of the box. Just the way I like it..!
I like to see new liquidness coming back...
Will test it tonight and report later...
I'm really curious to the optimizations done in this rom/kernel.
I am really glad with what dedication you all write new code for this nevertheless a few years old device.
If only we had a few good guys like you from the beginning ...
But finaly I'm really happy not to sold my device to replace it with a buggy pixel tab, Lol!
2 things so far, The wifi is set to recongize 5ghz in GB rather then all( don't remember the code for 'all', I switched mine to US). And some apps will have outstretched videos after a couple of seconds ( one such app is watchESPN). but other then, very nice ROM. Smooth and no troubling installing.
This ROM looks like a real killer. I like the fact that it is optimized for our specific chip, and the configurabilitylooks sweet. What gapps package is recommended for this build? I usully go with open gapps nano, but I might try the aroma package once more. I like the "pick & play" aspect and the install ui. Anybody have input with the gapps. I think I am going to really like this ROM. Thanks again, guys! ;-DeanoD
This looks awesome, i will be waiting for an stable version
Right, just clean flashed and I chose Nano GApps.
There's a problem that's solvable. It appears that the built-in AOSP WebView might not be working properly. For instance:
Feynman Lectures app opens but does not load its main page
Lightning Browser opens, but gets stuck once the UI is visible.
GetTube opens, but crashes once the YouTube link is clicked
Lithium eReader catalog crashes
SwiftKey is usable, but accessing its main menu (likely the one where it uses WebView to go online) crashes the app
"Crashes", as in the app is frozen and stops responding and Android offers the app-kill popup.
After installing Android WebView from the Play Store, everything works perfectly again. Checked the IR, camera, played some games (Machinarium, Deus Ex GO, TWoM) and all appears working. And yes, this is a real minimal install, so no music player, no browser etc from the get go.
And thus, those moving in from that CM14 build, might not be able to wake up from home key, hide software buttons and be rooted from a default install. I don't mind the former two, so to get root, download and flash the zip from here:
https://download.chainfire.eu/1017/SuperSU/SR1-SuperSU-v2.79-SR1-20161221223537.zip
I'll do some further testing, will report with more findings or logs in a week or so.
ROM won't boot after 15 minutes. Stuck at Android boot screen. Suggestions?

Did you flash any mods with the ROM? Make sure you wiped the system, cache, and dalvik cache before flashing

No mods, not even gapps. I performed a factory reset prior to flashing. I did receive the e: unknown command error after flash.
Edit: followed the instructions in OP to the letter. ROM boots fine now!
First Impressions
For a first draft ROM, this looks solid, and runs very clean. Still trying to tweak the install but system settings refuses to open so far. Will re-install tomorrow. ;-Deano

Currently there are none of the usual customisation options that you would expect in custom ROMs, absolutely nothing, being able to wake the tablet by pushing the physical home button would be a nice start. I'm also finding that like some other ROMs I've had on this and other devices Titanium backup will fail to restore some backups, just doing the animation it does while restoring but never actually finishing (having to install the occasional app from the play store while TB was doing its thing to make it progress), I had no sign of that problem with the CM14.1 ROM.
Once they hit their stride with development things should progress nicely, LiquidSmooth was probably the best ROM I've used (at least on this device).
It has navbar customizations in the system UI tuner, app ops in the security settings, and one of the main features is the substratum theme engine, more features will be added soon, can you get a logcat for the titanium backup issue
Right now the plan is to iron out the reported bugs, and then focus on a lot more features, keep in mind, this is this literally our first release ever, don't expect it to have a ton of features on the very first release
Really impressed by this ROM. Amazing work guys!

My first go at capturing something using Catlog is attached, TB trying to restore Adaway app & data for a while.
I have looked through pretty much the entire Settings interface and found no "system UI tuner" anywhere and no app that looks as though it would do any such thing, I have not removed a thing via TB or any other means.

@followmsi took down his Omni6 TWRP and advised us to use the new official 3.3.1-0 from the TWRP website - yours seems older, so which is better?
Does crDroid Q have all the great options already that Pie had? And do we have to flash any firmware/vendor or can we simply clean flash from any existing Pie rom?
Thanks for your work and this rom :good:
No Vulkan available, can you please fix it like in other Ten Roms ?
Great Rom with look & feel like crDroid Pie. :good:
I did a clean install.

is there any need to make system-as-root (SAR)
and which version of gapps work without any bugs
any bugs in this rom please, cause i use rr 5.8.5 without any bugs at all
any advises pleeeeeeeeeeeeeeease?

For a ROM to be called OFFICIAL, the developer needs to build the ROM from source and provide regular weekly updatesand has to stick to the guidelines the developer team have setup.
Like for example LineageOS, the dev can't include a hack or work-around for some bugs in the ROM with a certain device.
For example with the Redmi Note 3, while there was a mod present to fix the flashlight issue, the dev himself couldn't include it in the ROM as it didn't comply with the LineageOS guidelines.
Every developer community, for e.g., LineageOS, RR, DU, OmniRom, AICP, MOKEE,......., have there own guidelines.

I had no problem installing Open_gapps-arm64-10.0-nano-20191006-BETA.zip an was able to setup the tablet without any errors.
Didn't do the SAR thing as I don't need root, as I use the tablet for browsing and watching streams

I flashed it directly with a full wipe, my previous rom was Bootleggers ROM 4.3 Pie and didn't incounter any problems.
It has allot of options just like the pie version, don't know if they are all there but there is enough to choose from.

I don't need root but I tried it for you.
I just tried to install magisk in the normal way and it didn't give any errors.
After it I tested to see if it past safety net and it did.
After that I installed adaway and that requested root like normally and I gave it access.
But when it tried to install the host files it failed.
When I try to read the buildprob with a root file explorer, that works like normally after granting rood.
So maybe adaway needs the sar method, or it doesn't work with android 10 yet.

Go into Adaway's settings and select systemless, then it works fine.
I flashed crDroid earlier and for a 1st build it looks pretty good. It has some of crDroid's options, but not all of them. For example no option for smartbar under navigation and no way to modify recents to have the rambar or at least the clear all button. I installed a couple of launchers (Lawnchair, Hyperion + OPLauncher2) to use with Quickswitch in an attempt to get different recents, but Quickswitch complained with all 3 of them that this version wasn't supported
Settings crash when trying to change the hardware button layout - I wanted to put Screenshot on long-press since there's no smartbar, but Settings wasn't having any of it
Oh and an oddity: When I plug the device in to charge the screen lights up like it should ... but if I simply walk away it will go dark after the 30 seconds timeout and then light up again, rinse + repeat. I had to actually turn off the screen with the power button to get it to stay off while charging ... I've never seen THAT before, so no idea what's causing it.
@Valera1978 - your link behind "For now i'm using gapps from" in the OP doesn't work, maybe you can fix it?
Wake-on-Home works, Volume wake didn't and then it did but that's the same behaviour we had on some Pie roms already.
That's it for now ... not sure if I'll stay on this one or go back to my Pie rom, but it's definitely usable already - thank you @Valera1978 :good:

Thanks that did the trick with adaway, but the setting doesn't stick.
Not a big problem just have to set it again when I want to update.
I can confirm the settings crashing when you try to change the buttons.
I just used my charger but I didn't notice the light going on and off.

Thanks for pointing that out about Adaway, I hadn't noticed - but yes, it does it here too and for some odd reason adblocking was disabled again after a reboot.
I tried it a few times now - if I turn on the screen and then let the device sit there, the screen will go off after the selected timeout (30 seconds here), but then the screen will come back on after a second or 2. Then it goes off again after 30 seconds and comes right back on. This will keep going indefinitely unless I turn the screen off manually with the power button. Plus I just noticed that it isn't only when charging but all the time ... very odd, like something is waking the screen again right after it goes off. I definitely didn't have that on my previous Pie rom and my phone with crDroid Pie also doesn't do it. I'm stumped
Edit: I think I found the culprit that keep waking up my screen :victory:
On the tablet I use a free SIM card with free monthly data that's sponsored by advertisements. It has it's own lockscreen which doesn't even show up here on Q but did on Pie. If I "freeze" that app with TiBu my screen turns off as it should - but without that app installed I won't get my free data each month.
No idea if this is a Q issue or a crDroid one, but something must be blocking the app lockscreen and causing this odd behaviour. I'll have to see if I still get my free data allowance when the app is installed but not using it's lockscreen ... otherwise I'm going back to Pie. :fingers-crossed:
@Valera1978
After 1 Day of heavily testing Games, Videos, Youtube, Internet i can say, this is the Best 10 Rom for (my) 580's.
Big Thx again for your great Work. :good:

I would try:
- install the official TWRP page(Link: https://forum.xda-developers.com/showpost.php?p=80692007&postcount=672)
- save all my data
- wipe all partitons
- reboot into TWRP
- format (not WIPE!!) /data partition
- reboot into TWRP
- install only rom and boot
If rom boots normal, thenn install gapps...
installing the rom only cleanly starts works but when I want to add the gapps remains stuck on the logo cr droid
Why ?
ps: I tested with gapps indicated on this forum

This is discoveryOS (diOS)
Code:
/*
* I'm not responsible for bricked devices, dead SD cards, thermonuclear war, or you getting fired because the alarm app failed (like it did for me...).
* Please do some research if you have any concerns about features included in the products you find here before flashing it!

* Your warranty will be void if you tamper with any part of your device / software.
* Same statement for XDA.
*/
About this project: discoveryOS (or in short: diOS)
I was not satisfied with any external car navigation system I can get because either they are ultra slow, outdated, having bad user experience, missing speed cam support or simply taking ages to get a gps lock within my car.
So the main approach here is not having the best ROM for all users but for those having the same need then I have. Usually these both should not conflict so if I fix an issue for my needs it might fix yours as well. But my focus is navigation, nothing (much) else.
Examples: if Camera has issues I might not solve it, if calling has issues I might not solve it, etc.
Features of discoveryOS
fully based on /e/ OS for a full google-free experience
F-Droid (OpenSource Apps as an alternative to Google Play) including extra repos
debloated everything not needed for diOS (for details check this list)
Integrated MagicEarth Navigation
Integrated Automate App
Integrated Aurora Store
Speaker output optimized for speech (i.e. increasing loudness as much as possible)
my builds come with full OTA update support (from v2.0 on)
(... you know that thing which informs you that a new update is there and where you just click to download + install)

Requirements
Your device need to be unlocked (seriously?!)
Latest TWRP/SHRP build is highly recommended, e.g. mine: see my recovery post
Do a full Nandroid backup before doing anything else!
Samsung STOCK firmware should be on T285XXU0AQH1.
You can check your current firmware version in Android -> settings -> About / Phone info -> Baseband version
If you like try first without flashing this firmware but if you encounter any issues upgrade to this version first before reporting
Fast and (afaik) good site for downloading: https://sfirmware.com/samsung-sm-t285/
(scroll down and type T285XXU0AQH1 in the search box, choose the one for your country, download, flash as usual, flash TWRP/SHRP again, flash this ROM)
Installation
Backup
When you flash diOS the first time:
Wipe: System and do a factory reset !
A LOT of bad stuff can happen otherwise
Flash the ROM
Optional (if you want root): Flash Magisk
Flash OpenGapps ????? STOOOOOOOOP NO No no! you don't want that on a google-free phone! diOS contains everything you need to live without Google!
Boot (be patient on first boot!!! SIM detection might take a minute after the FIRST boot after clean flash as well)
Open Maps (MagicEarth) and click the download button to get your country/region maps
Open Automate to import the kioskmode flow
Open F-Droid -> Settings -> Repositories and choose those you want to enable (most of them are described here) & swipe down to update the repo list.
Open Aurora -> choose Anonymous as long as you don't want to have paid apps working
Enjoy
Known issues
no OMS support! OMS is a hack DEEP in the android sources and all these are outdated now. if you need that use jedl's build
build is ENG , i.e. "adb root" will work and no auth required for ADB
bluetooth is working but using the blobs by jedld's build until I find the time fixing the android sources (unfortunately the repo of jedld does not contain the full history so I have to compare manually...). Until then I keep it like that.
not charging on USB connection (normal power supply works fine) - still investigating. Seems to be an issue with my kernel.
This ROM is just coming with BASIC stuff so several apps you might want to see in a regular Android ROM are simply not there.
Examples (excerpt only!):
- no Camera app
- no Browser app
- no Gallery app
- no Email app
- no Calendar app
- no <fill-in-whatever-you-are-missing>
the complete list can be found here always

initial build:
I had a REALLY hard time to actually make LOS 14.1 boot with cleaned sources.. thought the ramp-up will take a week at most .. but that was way off..
jedld had done several patches within AOSP and I had to find out which are required where etc. the main reason why my build were not booting at all (which is f**** hard to debug without and log and/or adb ) was that one.
But I needed to clean the sources as several parts of these were incredible outdated and so needs to be udpated.
I had spent several more days to cleaning up even more stuff and finally uploaded a test build.
feel free to join but read the KNOWN ISSUES topic carefully before.
It is still in a very early state and I have tested pretty much nothing else then boot, apps, bluetooth, WiFi
Kernel:
switching to EUR kernel
implemented kernel build within LOS build!
added own TWRP defconfig
moving kernel modules like WiFi to /system
.... and more (see "Detailed changes")
LOS:
added alle needed TWRP configs
moving kernel modules like WiFi to /system

.... and more (see "Detailed changes")
Detailed changes:
LOS: this build VS. last build (by jedld, yea 19 pages ... was a long time )

May I know how do I flash your TWRP build? I am using Odin and I am supposed to flash .tar.md5 file right? Yours is in disc img file and when I try to extract / mount it shows "corrupted file".

Ah yea I haven't uploaded the ODIN file yet. Thanks for reminding. You can either wait for that or flash any of the other available TWRP versions for the smt285 which have a ODIN package. Once you have TWRP you can simply flash my img from within TWRP to update .

I recently flash the rom, mobile data to long to open. Thank for this, still finding bugs
Having trouble flashing a custom recovery. Odin doesn't seem to like me. Could anyone help me out?
Installed - works fine but found one annoying bug - lockscreen is not rotating at all - it's only vertical and not want to rotate to horizontal when I rotate device.

LineageOS is a free, community built, aftermarket firmware distribution of Android 11 (R), which is designed to increase performance and reliability over stock Android for your device.
LineageOS is based on the Android Open Source Project with extra contributions from many people within the Android community. It can be used without any need to have any Google application installed. Linked below is a package that has come from another Android project that restore the Google parts. LineageOS does still include various hardware-specific code, which is also slowly being open-sourced anyway.
All the source code for LineageOS is available in the LineageOS Github repo. And if you would like to contribute to LineageOS, please visit out Gerrit Code Review. You can also view the Changelog for a full list of changes & features.
Do not install Gapps, they are included in the ROM as RIL needs them!
The ROM requires a full wipe, back up what you have!
If you get a battery screen after flashing do a full wipe and flash again.

Reporting Bugs
DO NOT Report bugs if you're running a custom kernel or you installed Xposed
Grab a logcat right after the problem has occurred. (Please include at least a few pages of the log, not just the last few lines, unless you know what you're doing.)
If it is a random reboot, grab /sys/fs/pstore/console-ramoops. (Do not bother getting a logcat unless you can get it just before the reboot. A logcat after a reboot is useless)
Remember to provide as much info as possible. The more info you provide, the more likely that the bug will be solved. Please also do not report known issues. Any bug not reported in the bug report format below may be ignored.

Seems for marlin I didn't apply some fixes since I work on Sailfish as my main device, will update the links to a fixed build in about an hour.
Dude, you're awesome!
Links are updated, happy flashing!

Yes sir, I am. I just found out that it wont really work that way though.
Hello! Loving this rom so far. No issues have been seriously experience breaking but there are a few things worth addressing:
1. Changing wallpapers crashes by default - fixed by installing the Google Wallpapers app from the play store.
2. Ringtones are unable to be changed as selecting the option to change it in settings > sound - crashes settings - tried 3rd party apps no workaround. Default ringtone for notification is an actual ringtone so notification tones are ~30 seconds and unable to be changed. (Update: I was able to change ringtones through the Audiko app)
3. Apps that utilize the finger print scanner previously do not seem to have access (i.e. Lastpass) noting in the app settings that the feature is unavailable on this device.
4. Hotspot is unable to be enabled - simply gives "Error" when trying to enable.
5. Google Fi users are forced to complete the Pixel setup again when activating through the Fi app
6. Latest versions of Magisk (20 and 21) do not work with this rom and will cause it to boot loop.
Aside from the above it's been a mostly solid experience. When you get a lot of apps running it gets a bit bogged down and some things are just somewhat choppy to load. That being said, performance is not something I'm expecting with a bleeding edge port of an unsupported OS
My bad. Didnt realize this was los18

Hello DudemanJenkins,
1. I understand the concern with the wallpapers app, it is something I did source side and I am researching into possible fixes.
2. Ringtone options are broken in LOS 18 at the moment, I am expecting them to be fixed soon but I have no ETA on that, hopefully by next build.
3. I believe I have identified what causes apps to not see fingerprint and have addressed it in hopes it'll be fixed next build.
4. I will look into this.
5. I don't own a Google Fi phone so I cannot speak too much but this sounds like a normal thing.
6. There are multiple people rooted on this ROM, check your flashing method is correct.
As for performance and battery life I believe I have found the cause of why both of those are so bad at the moment, hopefully will be fixed next release.
found handful of bugs
some options in the settings dosent work
google chrome keeps crashing
overall camera quality was also not good like on the official android 10
kindly look into this
I did get Magisk 21 installed, and it works fine. My main issues are the battery percentage not enabling and Chrome (in all forms I believe) crashes very frequently. Other than that the ROM is actually quite a bit quicker feeling than Android 10 was on my XL.

The camera installed is the open source Camera2 app. Install a GCam port.

5. It will usually take you to activation where it will then just take you to the Fi app. It could be that there's some kind of call that has it skip the rest as the activation is one of the first parts of android setup? Just a thought from someone with minimal understanding . Also very niche so totally understand if this is a nofix.

If you don't mind, what steps did you take to get Magisk working? I'm still a bit stuck there
Thanks for this build! I tried it out on my OG Pixel XL, and was able to get it to boot. I did run into a few issues:
1. GApps was installed by default, and went through the initial setup, however GMail and Calendar both did not recognize that the account was installed. I waited overnight for all of the apps to update, and eventually they synchronized and allowed access to the accounts. Very strange.
2. Chrome is very glitchy. It crashes frequently and freezes a lot, especially when switching between apps.
3. Ran into the wallpaper issue, but resolved as others mentioned.
4. Ran into the ringtone issue, with phantom alarm/ringtones happening randomly. I ended up having to put the phone on vibrate as it was quite loud sometimes.
5. I have two calendar apps for some reason. They both seem to be synchronizing for the same account, but have different icons on the launcher screen.
device tree
yum yum yummy!
curious what device tree looks like for XL (either, I guess )
awesome koods!! :good:
edit: looks like GSI,perhaps

Nothing of the sort, all source built, look at your build number lmfao
I'm surprised this hasn't gotten more replies in comparison to other previous unofficial release of 17.0/17.1. Have people been having trouble with this release?

I'm using this build since a week more or less, and it's working normally for me. Indeed it needs some performance improvements
