Wifi not connecting or maintaining connections. Connects and looses it.

Hi, I have a Belkin N router and every other device has no problem connecting to the router since I have good signal strenght but the atrix has some serious problems with maintaining a connection or sometimes even connecting to the network. I had a HTC Aria and I never had a problem. Even my wifes iphone 4 has no problems connecting. Has anyone else had a similar problem and is there a solution for it.

Where do you uncheck this? Looked under Manage Networks and can't find that option. Thanks!

Make sure you made the settings for your local network operator under Access Name Points (Settings -> More -> Mobile Networks).
Try a different browser.

Wifi not wanting to connect to used connection

Every so often i get disconnected from my wi-fi on my galaxy s3, despite the router still being on and this is some problem I've gotten at alot of other networks too. The solution is often to just turn off and on again the wifi, and it will connect again, but wondering if there is any way to stop this issue, since it is reaaallyy annoying !
Thanks anyways

I had it on only when connected, but the problem was that it would not connect again and the only solution was to turn off the wifi and turn it back again.
I just recently firmware updated the phone, and will answer if it still keeps on going on

[Q] 4G LTE not working.

I recently got an LGOG and flashed Cyanogenmod 10.2 onto it. The WiFi wasn't working so I flashed the JB radio to it and everything worked fine. After leaving my house I realize that mobile networks were not working. I switched my access point from "ATT LTE" to "ATT" and then it worked fine. Now for all I know, 4G could be working just fine. However there is no 4g LTE symbol in the notification bar like there is on every other phone I have seen.
Should I try another radio? Should I try another access point?
Thanks.

Most AOSP-based ROMs don't show LTE in the status bar. When you see "4G", that's AT&Ts LTE. When you see "H+", that's 4G. "H" is 3G, etc.

Alright, well I browsed for a while, downloaded an app, and ran speedtest but all I ever saw was just "H". I am assuming that it is the access point I am using.
There is another access point called "ATT LTE" in my phone by default, but when I use that the 5 bars just stays grey and never turns blue. I can post the settings if you would like.

Make sure you have lte on in network mode, then search networks and after it searches select register automatically. Also sometimes bars stay grey if not connected to Google even though you have data service, try opening play store and see if they change.

The network mode I am using is "LTE/WCDMA". After searching for networks it says "Error while searching for networks" and when I press the choose automatically button nothing happens. Applications are still saying no network connection.

Works fine for 3G. But then when I switch to the ATT LTE APN mobile data no longer works.

Link for irc. Other than trying a reboot or reflashing ROM after full wipe ( I know stock answers that usually don't work) I am stumped.

Alright I'll ask there later. Thanks.
I am using CarbonRom and I can't get the network mode to stay on LTE. It keeps changing back to WCDMA only. Does anyone know what is causing this?

[Q] Xperia ray- Mobile Data issue

I've installed CyanogenMod 10 (NIGHTLY) in my Sony Xperia Ray (ST18i). Everything works fine except Mobile Data.
When I turn Mobile Data on, this error message appears for few seconds:
"Unable to resolve host "get.cm". No address associated with hostname".
At the same time, on the status bar, i can see 3G and then H connection icon, before they both disappear. So only Wifi connection works. My APN seems correctly configured.
I've also tried different basebands (85 and 86), but no results.
Does anyone know how to solve this problem?
Thanks to all in advance, and sorry for my poor english

I think it is some issue with your network and/or simcard.
Have you tried using this sim in some other phone?
If this problem does not exist on other devices, you might need to reflash the ROM after clearing the data & cache.

Mobile data does not work with the same simcard in other devices. So this problem has to be related to my simcard and/or network. Thank you for this suggestion.
