Hi everyone,
i just got my P9000 and I'd like to get root access and install TWRP.
Therefore I followed different tutorials on how to install TWRP using sp flashtool but always got stuck.
Serveral times the name of my scatter file was invalid (it did work with some files though).
Even if i got to load the scatter file, I clicked on download but nothing happend.
I am currently running Windows 10 64bit(Surface Pro 4) and the latest firmware on the P9000.
1. I did install the usb-drivers (after disabling driver signature enforcement)
2. I loaded the scatter file in sp flashtool
3. I connected the phone (turned off)
4. Download does not start at all
Is there a way to see wether the drivers are correctly installed and if the device is connected at all?
Thank you very much
Edit: I do also get a warning message by windows when connecting the device to the PC saying "USB device not recognized".
In device manager there's a yellow triangle next to the device(Error Code 10), several tutorials told me to ignore this.
I am having the same issue after installing aerom v5. I cannot flash TWRP anymore..
My guess would be that it's not the Aerom, it's the base ROM. I have the exact same problem, i solved it by flashing what i need with my Win 7 computer, because win 10 couldn't recognize my device after i flashed the ROM
I solved my problem with this:

Hello,
This must be a dumb question because all the guides seem to skip over this part but I'm having trouble installing the Windows 7 drivers. I downloaded the drivers, connected via USB, right clicked on the Android 1.0 in the device manager and updated the drivers. Everything seemed fine. Then I boot into fastboot and get a "Drivers were not installed successfully" pop-up.
I thought maybe I messed up and was supposed to install the drivers while in fastboot rather than while the phone was all the way booted up. So I rebooted the phone, uninstalled the drivers, booted in fastboot and tried to install the drivers while in fastboot. When I try it this way I right click on Android 1.0 in the device manager, go to the update driver option, select my file (there are two files in the driver folder I downloaded, androidusb and htcrndis, I tried them both) and I get an error before it can finish installing the driver. It says:
Windows found driver software for your device but encountered an error when trying to install it:
HTC Remote NDIS based Device
This device cannot start. (Code 10)
I'm sure it's something simple but I cant figure it out. Thanks for any help.
Hi guys,
I was recently trying to recover my IMEIs, I have formatted my device using SP Flash tool and when I tried to flash stock ROM after format, my PC is unable to recognize my device, I went to device manager and when I disconnected and reconnected my device to PC it is not showing any Preloader MT65xx, some "Alcatel .................." hardware is showing.
Please guide me how can make my Preloader visible in device manager. Please do not direct me to a tutorial of Installing VCOM driver, I know how to install VCOM driver, here I am unable to see my Preloader in the device manager.

If your problem is still not solved, the follow these steps:
1. Download SP flash tools, USB driver for your device, stock rom for your device.
2. Install usb drivers (no need to istall preloader etc.)
3. Run sp flash tools.
4. In scatter file, give path from stock rom (downladed as said above).
5. Remove battery, sim, and memory card all from your device.

HELP FROM WAVE RIDER
Hello guys.
I have a problem with my phone. It's an Archos 40 Titanium (neither model c or model b).
I flashed recently the rom of Wiko Sunset which is a KitKat rom. I thought it would be fine as wiko sunset has really similar features to my phone. Before I flashed that rom, I made a backup with SP Flash tool.
The problem now is that I can't flash the backup back. I get always Error 4032: Enable_DRAM_Failed. I've tried different versions of SP Flash Tool and drivers (MTK USB and VCOM drivers). I've followed many "guides" that I found on different websites (eg. to flash the preloader of the stock rom without having the battery in the phone etc), but unfortunatelly I get still the same error.
It's maybe worth mentioning that if I connect the phone without the battery and by pusshing VOL+ and power buttons then it connects but after 4-5 seconds it disconnects. If I do the same with the battery on, then it doesn't disconnect.
I am running Windows 7 x64 and Linux through dual boot.
I would be greatful if you guys could help me.
If you need any more info, you can ask me.
Thank you in advance.

[HELP] Device(Alcatel Idol X+ 6043d) doesn't turn on after using SP Flash tools
Hello,
First of all I'd like to say that i almost have no idea about androids,i started "playing" and acting with them some weeks ago.So, I own a Alcatel One Touch Idol X+(6043d,16GB,Octa-core,Dual-sim,MTK MT6592) rooted and yesterday i was trying to use a custom recovery(TWRP) I found in the internet after much searching.I opened Flash tools, loaded the scatter file i created by mtk droid tools, clicked on recovery and found the image and then i pressed Download (Download only). After that an error popped like PMT changed and you have to download or something like that, so for some reason being stupid i tried another option called Format All + Download.I turned off my phone, connected it to the computer again and the downloading started. After a while it stopped and popped errors ( Am not sure of what it was, after some more searching probably it was enable dram failed or something like that) and till then when i disconnected the phone, it doesn't turn on not even in recovery mode like it's dead, it only shows the led battery charging when it's connected to pc.
Also when i connect it to the computer at first it just shows a MTK USB Port but then it just disconnects and randomly reconnects and this goes on.
After trying to fix it, I tried to download a stock ROM although am not sure if I managed to download the right one from needroms, but being a newbie I had problems like I am not sure how to flash a ROM(using flash tools, picking up the right files, downloading etc.) plus when I tried to load the scatter file it always said that it's invalid(I use the latest version of Flash tools).I also tried to install some vcom preloader drivers found as a solution in the internet but that doesn't help it just shows that they're not installed correctly.
I really need some help here about what to do, hope you'll help me.
Thanks
porting of stockrom thru spft
same experienced the phone in bootloop and dead
Hey, I am new here so sorry if I'm posting in wrong board.
I rooted my P70 a while ago and everything was fine. Now I decided that I want to flash 5.1.1 on it. I proceeded to flash TWRP.
I tried it with SP flash on pc, I checked that my scatter file and recovery.img was correct. I opened the scatter file in SP, connected my phone and clicked download, but nothing happened. Only the phone started charging, I have enabled USB Debugging and developer mode. The bootloader was still the stock one. Why?
Next thing I tried is to put the recovery.img on SD card and downloading Uncletools, I flashed it and it asked me if I want to reboot in bootloader, so I did, but it was still the stock bootloader.
What am I doing wrong? Thanks a lot for any response.
Anyone got any idea?
Click download and conecting usb cable to hh
Hey,
I have the same issue. The phone is rooted but the SP flash tool will not do anything. I've read that it's because the USB drivers are incorrect. However I am unable to install the drivers as the phone does not show up under other devices but rather under portable devices. I tried to install the android sdk and use those drivers or ones I found on the web but none of them will take. I found the ADB device signed driver under USB devices in the device manager.
I am honestly at a loss here. Would be grateful if anyone has ideas I could try!
Thanks
