Hi,
today I wanted to flash this rom http://forum.xda-developers.com/showthread.php?t=2249760 , but by mistake I flashed boot.img by clicking "flash system" on WinDroid HTC Desire X toolkit I think this is the reason why I can't install any rom on my device because it stuck on the black screen after white HTC. I wanted to flash stock system.img but I can't find it anywhere :crying: Can anybody help me?
Just flash that Rom through recovery then reboot to bootloader and type "fastboot flash boot boot.img" and flash the boot.img inside.

Recovery? If you have JB version you must have hboot 1.25, too; if you have 1.24 hboot install an ICS recovery.
And don't forget to wipe all.
xpirt
I know this. I have 1.25 hboot, TWRP recovery 2.6, I wiped, flashed this rom, and then boot.img throught fastboot. And I still can't launch my phone. I also tried other roms but it's still the same. I don't have any backups. I don't know what to do:crying:

If first you try SuperWipe script and then reflash Rom and boot.img? If it's something releated to partitions..
xpirt
Still nothing. I tried SuperWipe. Do you have any other ideas? Thank you for all help.

I had a couple of black screens, couldnt do a thing. LCD screen replaced both times under warranty
So I bricked my device and fixed it through fast boot. The phone works. I'm on the stock rom. But when I go to flash it gets replaced by the stock recovery. Ive tried about everything help would be great!
Samething happend to me... cannot flash twrp because when i restart phone after flashing twrp, it gets replaced by stock recovery.
What i do now is to boot to twrp instead of flashing using this command:
Code:
fastboot boot twrp-3.0.0-0-kiwi.img
Hopefully there is a solution for this flashing problem.

explain what you tried
did you boot twrp and install / image / TWRP.img ?
I replied back to you on the other thread! Sorry about 2 threads
hello, not sure what's going on here but I can't boot normally (it just stays on the OnePlus logo)
can't boot to recovery either, still just the logo. (vol down & power)
I have fastboot, and tried to flash a genuine twrp recovery... http://i.imgur.com/TY300qg.png
as you can see from that image, it was successful - but I still can't boot into it.
if I try the hardware keys, again it's just the OnePlus logo, and if I try do it from fastboot without flashing, I get this...
http://i.imgur.com/TObXGB9.png
please keep in mind I definitely got the right image from the twrp website, and the sha1sums match.
so, I tried the official cyanogen recovery from their site instead, and it's the same story - it won't boot.
and during all this, I can't boot normally either.
at the moment I'm thinking I need some sort of full rom that can be flashed with fastboot. it may be possible to convert the flashable version from OnePlus (http://i.imgur.com/KvMHvaZ.png) to a fastboot one with a tool like sdat2img.py. But I got a FAILED (remote: Unknown chunk type) when I tried to fastboot flash system system.img with the new system.img I got from sdat2img.py
anyway, any help would be much appreciated - this is very annoying.
thank you,
Senan

You miss understand. You are trying to fastboot flash custom recoveries like twrp/cynogen. I am asking about the OnePlus X original stock recovery. You can flash full stock Rom with stock recovery.

thank you,

I should also note that I get a "wiping failed" when I try to wipe from that recovery

You have to flash 2.2.2 with that recovery first. Just download it to your phone storage. Then your back into the game. I think what you did was flash OOS3 and changed bootloader. That is why you were having problems with twrp.
On your device, go into Settings -> About and find the Build Number and tap on it 7 times to enable developer settings. Press back and go into Developer Options and enable OEM unlocking.
unlock bootloader and flash twrp
Code:
fastboot oem nubia_unlock NUBIA_NX609J

fastboot flash recovery recovery.img

bro i need fastboot drivers please
in mi system dont hace driver and y my devices onlye hace android =( help me me has win10
Sorry, long time ago tha I haven´t visited XDA.
I have used the drivers of video´s link but i had to test many drivers. It was very dificult for my too.
Actually I don´t know wich was the drives that i used, sorry.
if you have once used some fastboot drivers for some device on windows 10, chances are most probably you will have issues with detecting other devices in fastboot mode . Either boot with linux or reinstall windows 10 is the only solution imho

Try this one: http://www.mediafire.com/file/45qwt6i4ccdnjd0/recovery.img/file
you need first to unlock bootloader (you need to be in bootmode):
fastboot oem nubia_unlock NUBIA_NX609J
Just after that you can flash recovery.img:
fastboot flash recovery recovery.img
After this you can go back to recovery from boot menu navigating with up/down key and confirm with Power button!

which ROM do you have installed?
There is a chance to need to flash an original recovery (you can find it in original 8.1 ROM from Nubia), than boot in recovery and erase cache and data (IT WILL ERASE ALSO INTERNAL MEMORY!...SO BACK UP) and than unlcok bootloader, flash TWRP, flash ROM, flash bluespark boot.img
Hi,
My device is Redmi note 10 and it has A/B partitions. To install custom rom I have to boot the recovery rather than flashing it using "fastboot boot recovery (the recovery file)". But when I try to boot the recovery either with pc on CMD or phone with bugjaeger there's a error which says, "Cannot load "recovery" No such file or directory". Please help me resolve this issue. I really want to shift to custom rom. When I previously booted the recovery it would just boot normally. But one day my phone got bricked while installing a custom rom and as a result I had to flash MIUI fastboot ROM. This issue has started since then. Please help me resolve this issue.
Thanks.

You do either 'fastboot boot file.img' or 'fastboot flash boot file.img' then 'fastboot reboot recovery'.

It looks like it doesn't work with you.
Please document yourself before trying to flash a custom rom.
do not use bugjaeger.
Read the first post carefully.
Obviously if you try to install the twrp with "fastboot boot recovery"it won't work unless you rename it like this, best is to rename it "twrp.img"
