HI everybody. I live in Italy, I have the 16GB variant of Xperia M4 Aqua (E2333) bought from Amazon.fr, SIM free.
Now I'm stuck with lollipop.
Last week was released the official MM update both in France (16GB variants) both in Italy (8GB) variants (16GB variants are not sold in Italy).
I received an email with the notification of the new software release, but if I check into settings/devicesinfo/softwareupdate no ota available.
If I connect my phone to Pc, Xperia companion says "up to date", also if I check via IMEI it says i have the latest software available.
I updated my phone several times since I bought it, minor updates, I received them almost instantly after the official rollout.
It seems strange to me. Anyone else facing this problem?
Hi, my phone behaves the same (dual-sim 16GB). I'm in Czech Republic and have bought it in French e-shop. I've heard, that it won't be released at once for all the users. So maybe it's still yet to come.

Still no update, not OTA, not through companion on windows
> 1,5GB free (I saw somewhere you need at least 500mb free storage)
Battery mostly > 80% (thought that some updates don't show up on low battery).
So I try to keep my xperia in optimal status to receive the update...
I've also noticed that all articles I've seen about the upgrade mention version 26.3.A.0.131, but for E2333 we need 26.3.B.0.131.
I wanted to post a link, but the forum rules don't let me until I have 10 posts. However open source archives are available for download on sony developer world. In description there is:
Open source download for Xperia M4 Aqua (E2303, E2353, E2306); software version 26.3.A.0.131. And Xperia M4 Aqua Dual (E2333, E2363, E2312); software version 26.3.B.0.131.
Hi im from Macedonia and i have this problem to i contacted sony support and they sad the update will arrrive for evry device at diffrent time it doesent depend on the contry or city that you live in they sad they are doing a roll out so it will arive for our phones as we get on row.

guys the only and the best solution for your problem is to flash the MM update with flashtool i will make it now
go to this link and download the model of your mobile

and flash it with the FlashTool program it`s easy way you can just see how on Youtube ^_^

Guys i bought My xperia sola one two months ago frm ebay...i started facing network problems for a last few weeks..i tried downgrading to GB and tried latest version of firmware available for my phone too...bt the problem still persists...when i checked its SI number i came to know that its imported from singapore (that could explain network dropping off frequently) and sony gives no support for out of country phones...
Can rooting my device actually relieve me of this problem?..

New one or used one? There is no issue reported like this before. Try another sim n check
try another operators sim and check to see if its the problem with the handset or the sim........ where as I dont think it would be a problem with the handset...........

Have tried using other SIM too..I am sure its problem with cellphone and not the network...u think rooting might help?
Rooting wont help i guess.............. rooting just helps to gain administrator rights as in windows..........

i'm having the same problem to with my sola. it just started last month. in my country, we have 3 or 4 mobile network provider. i tried to register my sim network to different network. it worked but its on roaming status... im not sure if im gonna pay for it. but i got the signal i want

this thread is for android development. ROM's/ Kernel/ system... Members go to the Q&A section to specifically help others.. So next time go to the question and answer thread... you'll get more help... :good:
If you Ultra is branded or locked to a carrier then you wont be able to update using flashtool. (unless its specifically for your carrier based unit)
You will have to wait for your carrier to push the update directly to its customers.
I also live in the Netherlands. My ultra is not carrier based. At the moment using Vodafone in the past Telfort. But i also didn't received the update yet. I assume countrys like the Netherlands and Belgium are on the bottom of the list.
I never saw anybody else with an ultra overhere, and getting out of the reactions when i'm using the device otber people also saw this phone before
Making the phone carrier free isn't that big of a deal, i think. When lurking the forums at xda you'll find a method i assume. You can looking in the general android part of the forum (interesting stuff overthere), the sony xperia Z and Z1 forums can also be beneficial.

You are not the only one. I bought an E2333 from Amazon.fr, i live in Italy. Although in France E2333s have received update, and here in Italy 8GB versions too, i didn't saw anything...

Nope, nothing here... Sony Mobile FR says that they have released the update, but the delay isn't their fault, it depends by several factors...
We have only to wait.
Every day, twice a day I connect my phone to Pc and pray.. Uff

Xperia Companion says that my device is up to date.
What should I do?

Australia still doesn't have the update either

This summer i have bought my LG G5 when i was travelling in Sweden. I bought it unlocked new ( not connected to any carrier) .
As i can see many of you have receive Android 7 update.. I have try to use LG tools, LG Bridge , and try to updated it over air... But nothing..
I have send an Email to LG support but i have receive generic answer.. So my question is , why there is no update for me? Maybe somebody knows something, what i can do? Is my device broken?

HI I think it hits to Nordic countries just before Christmas. We are not such a big market area, so wait a bit and it will come. I haven't got it either, so your phone is not broken.
