This summer i have bought my LG G5 when i was travelling in Sweden. I bought it unlocked new ( not connected to any carrier) .
As i can see many of you have receive Android 7 update.. I have try to use LG tools, LG Bridge , and try to updated it over air... But nothing..
I have send an Email to LG support but i have receive generic answer.. So my question is , why there is no update for me? Maybe somebody knows something, what i can do? Is my device broken?

I have the same issue here in Denmark. Still waiting for Nougat. Mine is a Nordic Europe version like yours
HI I think it hits to Nordic countries just before Christmas. We are not such a big market area, so wait a bit and it will come. I haven't got it either, so your phone is not broken.

2 min. ago update came up on LGMobile Support Tool... Finaly Serbian version of G2 get KITKAT !!! :fingers-crossed::fingers-crossed::fingers-crossed::victory::victory::victory:

I don't understand why the update is not pushed through at once in Europe?

a few questions for a neighbor:
Did you buy the phone at provaider or a gray area?
whether the OTA update?
What is your phone model?
I ask this because I have 802 10f SEA (update 802 20a) and I'm interested in the name of compatibility. seems that the region of origin phone does the job and not where you are. it would like to establish.
P.S. update is OTA

I bought it at Telenor,and didn't got OTA...I plug it to LGMobile Support Tool,and,there is goes 4.4.2... Mobile model D802...

which version of the D802? The important thing is to synchronize the modem, which you update version 4.4.2 (need full name if you do not mind)

thanks for the screen shot.
I returned the phone to 4.2.2. then root and instal new rom Optimus v4. phone stayed root and I kept recovery. So I have full 4.4.2 rooted and I am very pleased, especially with the camera is extra slow motion and 120 fps.
Countrymen what happens? Nobody has positive or negative comments.

I am seeing there is alot of people reporting this issue recently?
Any update from LG.
And how can i claim warranty if I got my phone from eBay.. its the F600k Olleh version from Korea.

Hi mine got bootlooping issue too, I cant even go to recovery mode. LG recommended to change the motherboard, which is too expensive option for me. LG V10 F600S here. Please update here if you manage to find a solution

This worked and I could backup my files and delete before getting my replacement and sending this one off. I don't know how it will work long-term but if you just need to get your files - try it! I tried different versions to test Nougat for H860 Dual SIM model.
H860N HK : Phone runs Okay but networks are unstable (at least for my African Model).
H860 TW : Network is way better and I got Smart Doctor . But I have an NTCode Error on every boot.
Anyone got a link to try H860 AME version ? Anyone got an LG Bridge update ?

You'd expect the international variants to be one of the first to get the Nougat update, but nothing on LG Bridge or OTA yet.

i just bought at&t unlocked G5 (H820), and it seems i have a problem about "software update".
When i check Android security patch level, its still on "2016-03-01" (Build number: MMB29M, H82010c). Its very outdate, and i cant get any update. already check via software update (OTA), its says i'm on the latest software. I try use LG Bridge, still the same i dont get any update and i get error "cant find software" or something like that (i dont remember the exact word).
Please, can you guys help me. Is there another way to get Software update?
I dont even have app drawer :crying:
fyi: i live in indonesia, so there is no way i can get any at&t simcard.
If you just bought the G5 H820, you may want return to the phone to the seller and get a G5 H850 instead?
I have the same problem here with the H850K, came from Australia to the Amazon FBA, but I am living in Luxembourg. However the H850 open European version is almost a 100 EUR more expensive. Seems not to be worth it, especially not if this lousy Australian company finally will come up with an update of Android 7.

You can simply update your V10 via LG Bridge software. Just download and install LG Bridge into your pc and connect the phone via USB cable. It'll detect your V10 and then you can easily update your phone from there. Also it is advised to create a full backup before performing system update! :good:
